Chapter Index

The happy feeling suddenly falls to the ground.

I kept my mouth shut, feeling as if the ominous feeling I had this morning had become a reality.

With a disturbed mind, dozens of thoughts came to mind.

    Why today of all days?

    Who the hell?

Is this the same psychic ability user from last time?

Why? Why? Did you choose this place?

    “Jeff?”

    “Huh?”

I shook my head and answered Amy’s worried gaze.

Her soft, flowing white hair brushed her cheek.

Only then was I able to shift my gaze and look around.

    An empty auditorium.

    Everyone inside had already left.

Rain and Shine next to me looked at me with worried expressions.

“Didn’t you hear? We’re going to the teachers’ office now.”

    “Oh, yes.”

“And there’s that device that Jin showed you last time, right?”

    “Yes.”

“If you feel any waves there, tell me right away.”

I nodded to Amy’s words and immediately raised my ability.

Usually, because the ability has become stronger, it releases the ability that was intentionally suppressed.

    And make it more active.

A faint electric field spreads out in an instant.

The scope is the entire branch of this school.

The movements of people and the structures of buildings begin to take shape in my mind.

    But that was it.

I didn’t feel any of those strange radio waves that Amy had mentioned.

    “I don’t feel anything.”

I was carried to the teachers’ office in Amy’s arms, my mind focused.

Tingling – A tingling sensation continues in the brain.

Because of the vast amount of information received, my head gets hot.

“Maybe it was just a coincidence. I’ll be able to go play again once I figure out what’s going on.”

Amy offered some comforting words to me as I looked gloomy.

    But I shook my head.

As Amy said, if it had been a coincidence, her and my phones would not have been constantly receiving text messages.

    “Umm…”

Amy frowned, holding me up with one hand while checking her phone screen with the other.

Reports of fighting breaking out everywhere continue to arrive on her phone.

    I knew that too.

She is able to grasp the scene of the fighting faster than Amy’s informants scattered around.

“Amy. On the mountain behind the school.”

“Okay. I’ll send someone over there.”

Amy dispatched someone there without a single doubt about what I said.

When I arrived at the teachers’ office, it was empty.

Seeing that Shandroy, who was usually seen, was nowhere to be seen, it seemed that she too was running around here and there to solve this case.

Amy said as she shoved the three of us into the staff room.

“You can’t come out until this whole thing is resolved. Got it?”

I mumbled without being able to answer her.

I wanted to go out and help Amy.

However, she didn’t want us to get into a dangerous situation.

“If you listen well, I’ll buy you a pizza for dinner later.”

Amy said, gently brushing my protruding lips.

Her words make my mouth water.

    I nodded, licking my lips.

    “You’re so nice.”

Amy stroked my head and looked at Lane.

Rain, who had been standing still, looked up at Amy with a nervous expression at the sudden gaze.

    “Rain.”

    “Yeah!”

“Can you take good care of the kids?”

    “Then! Just trust me!”

Lane stuck out her small chest with a confident expression at Amy’s words.

At that pitiful sight, Amy patted Lane’s head.

Rain’s expression instantly relaxes, and a faint blush appears on her cheeks.

“I’ll be back! Don’t leave and stay here!”

Amy closed the door, giving us a firm warning.

As soon as the door closed, Shine activated the lock and locked the door.

    “Is there really no problem?”

I muttered, fiddling with my fingers in anxiety.

    The anxious thoughts never stopped.

This morning, I remember Victor leaving earlier than Amy.

    Where is he?

What if it was done by someone with psychic abilities?

So what if you can’t even contact them?

Such thoughts kept coming back to me.

    “Come here Jeff.”

    “Ah. Yeah.”

Shine, who didn’t like the sight of me loitering in front of the door with an anxious expression, grabbed me and dragged me over to the soft sofa and sat me down.

Then he opened the packaging of a small chocolate on the table and put it in his mouth.

I took it and ate it, munching on it.

But even the sweet chocolate and soft sofa did not calm my anxious mind.

    Phagejik-

As I grew anxious, little Amy also seemed anxious, scattering faint sparks around her.

“What should I do, baby? I’m so worried. Will Amy and Victor be okay?”

Psychic abilities are truly terrifying abilities.

I wasn’t sure what it was exactly, but I had a vague idea.

You can play with people’s emotions.

What a terrifying ability this is.

I kept moving my hands anxiously, shoving the chocolate into my mouth.

Anxiety subsides in proportion to the plump cheeks.

While I was picking up chocolate like a hamster, I looked at Rain’s expression.

She was sitting comfortably with her usual expression.

In her eyes, faith in Amy and Victor was deeply rooted.

The three said they had been together since they were young.

So, Lane must know something about Victor and Amy that I don’t.

Seeing Rain’s calm appearance, I too began to calm down.

The hair that was sticking out in all directions is slowly coming down.

Little Amy, who had been on top of the head, came down onto the table with her hair coming down.

Little Amy looked up at me and began to flail her arms wide.

    “Baby. You want to play?”

Little Amy shook her head at my words.

He had a frustrated expression on his face, as he had something to say but couldn’t say it properly.

Little Amy’s fragmentary will flowed into my head.

    Discovered- Discovered-

    “What did you find?”

    Scary things- unpleasant things-

    “Are you feeling bad?”

Little Amy nodded at me, then stomped her foot hard on the table she was standing on.

    bean-!

There was no sound, but it felt like that.

Then, the blue current flowing through little Amy’s body began to pulse, and thousands of lines began to stretch out onto the table.

    Phage crackle-!

The black, burning marks contained the structure of the school.

As we admired the detailed carvings, little Amy eagerly climbed down the picture steps and pointed to a large statue inside one of the classrooms.

    Fired-fired-!

Little Amy’s hair stands on end.

The appearance of a dog sticking its head up like it has discovered an enemy.

The statue she was pointing to was the Silver Lion statue, the family symbol of her grandfather Perman.

Why is she pointing at that?

    Danger- Feeling Bad- Remove-

“Should I get rid of this?”

Little Amy nodded at my words.

The large witch’s hat flapped as the little head moved eagerly.

I folded my arms and tilted my head to the side at Little Amy’s comment.

He’s a very smart kid, just like me and Shine, so it’s not for nothing that he says that.

Then why did she say that the silver lion statue, a symbol of her grandfather, should be removed?

    “Baby, you know this, right?”

I showed little Amy the ring I was wearing.

Little Amy nodded at the sight of the sparkling silver lion.

“It’s my grandfather’s symbol, so I have to break it?”

Little Amy nodded at my words.

    “Okay. I’ll trust our baby.”

A good parent should believe what his child says.

I nodded, recalling the article I saw on the Internet, and took out my phone.

Since I couldn’t leave here myself, I thought I’d text Amy.

I took a picture of the blackened table and texted Amy.

    No, I tried to write.

    “Eh…”

A message pops up saying that the message could not be sent due to poor communication conditions.

I tried pressing the send button again.

But this time it’s the same.

Just in case, I pressed the call button and called Amy.

But there was no connection sound on the other end of the phone.

I grabbed my dead cell phone and looked at Rain and Shine for help.

    “Why?”

“I can’t get through on the phone.”

The two people immediately took out their phones and repeated the same actions as I said.

But their cell phones were no different from mine.

    Texts and calls don’t work.

None of the three phones had any bars indicating their connection status at the top.

As I stood there with my mouth open in this dire situation, little Amy popped up right before my eyes.

She looked at me, placed her hands on her hips, and mumbled something small.

A confident look, a confident attitude.

Her appearance reminds me of Amy, and my anxiety subsides.

    “Baby?”

    You can do it.

    “What can you do?”

    phone call.

As little Amy finished speaking, her little hand touched my head.

And at that moment, I was able to think of a way.

My body moves before I think.

Little Amy climbs onto the arms raised high in the sky.

I immediately told Shine and Rain who were around me.

    “Both of you back off!”

    “Jeff?”

There was no interference from the electric field that covered the entire school.

If that’s the case, then something must have happened to the news agency itself, not something within the school.

Luckily, I had a way to solve this problem.

Not me, to be exact, but little Amy.

    Phage crackle-!

With all his might, his entire body is covered in blue lightning.

At the sudden release of power, Rain and Shine step back with surprised expressions.

Powered by me, little Amy soared high into the sky with a blue lightning bolt enveloping her entire body.

Her location, flying straight up through the building itself, is transmitted to my mind.

    Phagecic-!

Little Amy arrived at the top of the school, took her place there, and spread out her radio waves widely.

And at that moment, with the sound of a message being received, the dead phone came back to life.

    Brrr-!

    Brrr-!

    Peep-!

    The messages continued endlessly.

In the short time that the connection was lost, dozens of texts arrived for me and Shine Lane.

I pushed aside the endless stream of messages and immediately wrote a photo and message to Amy.

    Send.

The moment you press the send message button, the radio waves sent from your phone fly into the sky.

The radio waves that reach where little Amy is are re-broadcasted in the direction I want them to go, which is in the direction of Amy’s cell phone.

Immediately after Amy’s message arrived, I got a call from her on my phone.

    “It’s Jeff!”

    [Jeff!]

Amy’s loud voice came over the phone.

She immediately let out a sigh of relief as she realized I was safe.

“Amy! Did you see the message I sent?”

[Ah. I just checked. Why there?]

“We have to break that statue!”

[That? Okay, I understand. Are you three all safe?]

    “Yes. I’m not leaving.”

[Okay. You’re listening well. I’ll take care of that first and then call you back.]

With those words from Amy, the call ended.

I was able to locate Amy because of the transmissions from where the call was connected.

After ending the call, Amy immediately started moving.

She runs quickly from the playground to the school building.

And at that moment, her body leaped into the air.

I expected her to come in through the building entrance, but Amy exceeded my expectations and arrived at the place I told her through the window in no time.
