Chapter Index

Rain, Shine, and I put our heads together and looked at Victor.

It may seem like we’re discussing the operation, but since we haven’t learned proper tactics, we decided to move based on instinct rather than a poor plan.

    Victor looked very relaxed.

It was a face that seemed like it could easily take on three kids who couldn’t use their abilities.

Lane seemed to be really annoyed by Victor’s attitude.

    Rain, shaking his small fist.

We exchanged a few glances and then ran off in all directions.

    “Let’s go!”

The tag training started with a loud noise.

Rain was the first to go.

Her usual atmosphere disappeared in an instant, and she approached Victor with a serious face.

Victor didn’t forget to look our way even as Rain approached.

As Rain’s short hand reached forward, Victor took a step back, parrying her attack.

    It’s right now.

I kicked off the ground and ran straight after Victor.

    Victor still looked relaxed.

His body moves strangely and he moves out of range.

Victor’s long, outstretched feet move, skimming the edge of the ground.

    Phew-!

A strong kick causes a gust of wind to blow out.

It wasn’t enough power to blow a person away, but it was enough to throw off my balance and that of Rain.

    And that was the moment.

Victor’s legs, which had been slightly stepped back, move forward again.

As his feet strongly stamped the ground, the surrounding air created a strange resonance.

    thud!

    I couldn’t move.

The body that was forcibly twisted in the air becomes frozen in place.

Victor grabbed me and Lane by the back of their necks, who were frozen, and swung with all his might.

    “Eww!”

Rain and I were thrown into the air by a strong arm.

Shine was running towards Victor through the shaking vision.

Shine and Victor had a brief exchange of attacks.

Shine’s fists and feet extend sharply.

But Victor easily deflected all of Shine’s attacks.

    The reach is too short.

If Victor took one step back, Shine had to follow two steps.

I spun my falling body through the air and landed safely like a cat.

Tadak- Rain ran straight to the ground.

I too followed her and followed Victor.

Victor didn’t attack directly, but if we got too close, he’d grab us and throw us far away.

Once, twice, the more we flew through the air, the more tired Shine and I became.

    There were many opportunities.

As the number of times he flew through the air increased, he was able to predict Victor’s movements.

    But the sum didn’t match.

There were frequent instances where people would try to attack at the same time or dodge in the same direction.

It was the same even now.

    “Oh no!”

The moment I ducked down to avoid Victor’s arm, I bumped my head into Rain, who was digging underneath.

Victor didn’t miss the gap and threw us down in the same position we were in.

Flying through the air, entangled with rain.

Only Shine was able to stay with Victor for quite some time.

Shine acted as if he knew which direction Victor was attacking from.

    But that didn’t last long.

Victor steps on the ground again, displacing Shine’s center of gravity.

    thud!

Shine hesitates as the surrounding ground shakes with the strength of her legs.

Victor took advantage of the gap and threw Shine at him.

“If only I didn’t have this bracelet!”

Rain, who landed on the ground, looked at the bracelet on his hand.

Most of her fighting prowess comes from her abilities.

So, if a situation arises where she cannot use her abilities like this, her fighting power will drop to a level similar to ours.

Of course, there would be skills and experience gained through long training, but the strength was similar.

“Rain. You played with kids, so you really became a kid??”

    “Aaah!!!”

Lane rolled on the ground in anger at Victor’s provocation.

Knock knock knock – The sight of its small feet stamping vigorously made it look like a chick preparing to run.

Shine, who arrived late, lands behind me and Rain.

She took a deep breath and called out to me and Rain.

    “Jeff. Lane.”

    “Huh?”

“From now on, move as I tell you.”

Rain and I just nodded blankly at Shine’s words.

Shine’s expression looks like she has some plan.

She patted me and Rain on the back and then pushed us forward slightly.

    “Let’s go.”

As Rain and I ran out, Shine followed behind us.

And at that moment, Shine’s voice came into my ear.

Her voice, which sounded as if she was speaking right next to him, was indicating the direction of Victor’s attack.

I moved as if I was possessed and followed her words.

The body, which was running in a straight line, slightly turns and turns to the side.

My ankles felt a little tingly from the sudden change in direction, but it was bearable.

As soon as I turned, Victor’s hand brushed through my hair.

And taking advantage of that gap, Rain dug into Victor’s arms.

At the same time, I heard Shine’s voice again.

    ‘Jump up.’

Shine ran in the opposite direction from me.

As she said, she kicked the ground and rose up, and Victor stepped on the ground.

    thud!

The only one who lost balance was Rain.

Shine reached out to Victor, who reached out to Lane.

    ‘Run to the left.’

    Shine’s instructions are completely incomprehensible.

    But my body was running.

As I ran along as she said, Victor jumped out next to me.

I opened my eyes wide in bewilderment at his unexpected movements, and he looked down at me with the same bewildered look as I did.

The moment Victor’s eyes met, Shine’s next voice was heard.

    ‘Flow to the right.’

It was a short statement, but I could understand what she was trying to say.

    Immediately, Victor’s arm moved.

The hand that was quickly approaching me as if trying to catch me passed through the air without being able to catch me, who was moving first.

    ‘Support Rain.’

Shine’s voice continued to be heard.

A body that moves without time to think.

When I came to my senses, I saw Rain, who had run right in front of me, jumping into the air.

I held out both hands to Lane.

Then, as if she had been waiting, she kicked my hand away and jumped higher.

Rain, who turned his back to the sun.

At that moment, Shine dug into Victor’s blind spot with a strange movement.

She spoke to me even as she moved.

‘It’s going to fall to the right again.’

    Victor’s expression became urgent.

The chaotic joint attack surges forward like a wave.

As if they were moving as one body, Rain took my empty spot, Shine took Rain’s empty spot. And then me again.

Victor’s breathing began to rumble as the chain continued.

    “Hey!”

It was Rain who created the gap.

She took off the chickpea-colored jacket she was wearing and threw it at Victor’s face.

Only Victor was unaware of the attack.

Me, Shine, and Rain each went in different directions and waited.

Victor, who had stepped back to avoid the jacket blocking his view, was the first to spot Shine.

He gritted his teeth and kicked the ground hard, sharply changing the direction of his body.

    Victor successfully evaded Shine’s attack.

    But Rain’s attack remained.

As I was waiting for Victor at a distance, I could hear Shine’s voice at the same time as Rain jumped up.

    ‘Run now!’

As soon as I heard her voice, I kicked the ground and ran.

The pebbles underfoot scatter in all directions.

All of this happened almost simultaneously.

The moment I saw Victor grab Shine’s head and push it down, my hands were already wrapped around Victor’s waist.

    “Got it!”

    “Curry!”

The slingshot training was our triumph.

    ***

The delicious curry served on white rice gave off a fragrant aroma.

I opened my mouth wide, holding the plate with both hands.

The saliva in my mouth seemed about to flow out.

Most of the meat in the pot ended up going to me, Shine, and Rain.

Lane stood in front of Victor, holding her plate in her hand.

“Do you want to eat? Do you want to eat? What should I do? Victor doesn’t have any meat?”

Merongmerong. If Amy had seen Lane licking her tongue and wiggling her little butt, wouldn’t she have given her a good slap?

Victor only furrowed his eyebrows and did not respond to Lane’s provocation.

He ate his vegetable curry in silence.

I took a big bite of curry while looking at the two people.

As expected, the meat was delicious.

After a delicious lunch, we decided to take a nap.

“Mr. Tree! Please put down the branch!”

The Living Forest of Allen granted my request.

A large tree sways and droops its branches downwards.

I took out the hammock I had packed in my bag and hung it on a tree branch.

A hammock set up between the shade provided by tall trees could be considered the perfect place to take a nap.

It was spacious enough for the big crab and Shine Rain to both go up at the same time.

Victor looked at us and took a small book out of his bosom.

It seemed like he was planning to spend his time reading a book.

As I climbed into the hammock, Shine and Rain jumped in on either side of me.

Shine is attached to the right, and Rain is attached to the left.

I closed my eyes in the slowly rocking hammock.

The cool breeze and the slow swaying of the hammock helped me fall asleep.

How could Shine talk to me and Rain at the same time from so far away?

And why couldn’t Victor hear Shine’s voice?

    “Hey, Shine.”

The body slowly sways from side to side.

    “Huh?”

The questions I wanted to ask her wouldn’t come out.

In the end, I kept my mouth shut and suppressed my curiosity.

    “It’s nothing.”

“Did you have another strange thought?”

Shine seemed to know what I was thinking.

I gave her an awkward smile and closed my eyes.

Rain was already sound asleep, breathing evenly.

    She knew everything about me.

    Anything.

    Anything.

So I wanted to know too.

What Shine usually thinks about, what she likes and what she dislikes.

I wanted to know her likes and dislikes, not just tailor them to me.

First of all, it was clear that Shine hated men.

I held onto Shine’s hand tightly and surrendered myself to the water.
