by adminIt can’t be helped that I’ve been acting like a jerk to Junsu in a way that’s not typical of me, and I still need to eat.
I got up from my seat and headed to the playground, where my older sisters were gathered on the bench.
As I approached, my sister’s friend handed me a workbook.
“What is it?”
“I can’t believe you said you’d teach Sae-ah.”
It’s only been a day since you told me I could tell you.
As expected, Sae-ah was a younger sister who had outstanding execution skills since she was young.
“If you don’t believe it, then don’t believe it. Why are you solving the problem? ”
“Is Sae-ah becoming a liar?”
But, it is not right for Sae-ah to become a liar.
He took the workbook, sat down next to Sae-ah, solved the problems, and handed them over to her.
“Okay?”
“This too!”
I received it again and solved the problem, and it looks like he’s already solving a high school first-year problem, so he must be good at studying.
“Are you studying well? Already finished the first year of high school problems?”
“Are you the only one doing it? And I can’t do it either. It’s homework.”
“….?”
I don’t know what this is talking about.
“So. Even though you can’t solve it, you made me solve it because it’s homework?”
“Right. Since we’re testing your skills, please help me with some homework.”
I quietly handed the workbook to my sister’s friend and held Sae-ah’s hand.
“Sister. You’re such a fun friend.”
“Yeah. It’s a bit unusual, which is why it’s fun.”
“It seems like my older sister has some unique tastes.”
“New boyfriend. You can tell just by looking at me dating you.”
“My older sister is sitting and doing her homework.”
As I pretended not to notice my older sister friend trying to push her homework onto me, the line started to get shorter and I got up from my seat.
“Shall we go eat now?”
“Can’t you not do that?”
“That’s right. That sounds so dad-like.”
“Just tell her to go eat!”
Ignoring the nonsense I was hearing from the side, I held my sister’s hand and went into the cafeteria, received my food on a tray, and sat down.
While eating, I looked at the noisy table next to me and saw Junsu, who was eating quietly for some reason.
Seeing Junsu quietly eating while his friends were noisy, it seemed like he didn’t take my words lightly.
I regretted acting so rudely, but seeing Junsu like that made me realize that I hadn’t done anything completely foolish. I felt pretty good about it.
I don’t think they’ll ask me to play rock-paper-scissors anymore. Thank goodness.

Playful Saturday.
The second and fourth Saturdays of the month, which have been in effect since the year before last.
Now, in about three years, I’ll be able to take every Saturday off, not just twice.
Even though I won’t go to high school after graduating from middle school and will take the GED exam, I still have to go to college.
Anyway, I opened my eyes in bed and am lazing around, enjoying the reality that I don’t have to get up.
It would be perfect if you just had a smartphone here.
I think it was either the end of next year or early 2010 when the iPhone was first released in Korea.
Anyway, lying in bed without thinking about anything, isn’t this heaven?
-dripping.
“Yeah, you can come in.”
“It came out.”
Today, too, Sister Sae-ah opened the door and appeared.
These days, my older sister looks at our couple photos first and then looks at me.
“You’re early.”
“Yeah. To lie down together.”
As I lifted the blanket and made way for her to lie down, Saea’s older sister lay down next to me.
The time has come to lie down side by side and laze around.
“Jaehoon. But what’s in the safe?”
My sister, who had never asked me about the safe, finally seemed curious.
“Sister. You shouldn’t reveal the contents of the safe. You’ll get hurt if you know.”
“If Jaehoon says there’s nothing he can put in the safe, it’s only money, right?”
“You’re smart.”
“No. Jaehoon has nothing to hide other than money.”
“Is that so?”
“But why don’t you put your money in the bank instead of hiding it in a safe?”
“I like cash, sis.”
“Really?”
“Anyway, is it a secret that that’s a safe?”
“Okay. Okay.”
I can’t say it was slush funds, but it was money, so there was no problem, and I could trust my older sister.
If my older sister is very tight-lipped, she won’t tell anyone.
It was a shame to leave the money like that without investing it, but I was also worried that my dad might look at my investment history, so I left the money in my bank account unused.
And it just so happened to be the perfect time to take a break.
I still remember vividly the outbreak of Corona in my past life and the comparative analysis with the Lehman Brothers incident.
The current stock market is showing a graph that looks like it will gradually rise, but starting in May, it will begin to gradually go downhill.
And it will plummet starting with the Lehman Brothers incident in the US in September.
I thought about giving my grandfather and father a little advice, but I didn’t want to cause any problems since I had already done well in my past life. And even though I am smart for my age, I wondered if they would believe me.
Believe it or not, I thought about using this incident as an opportunity to solidify my faith, but I had Bitcoin, which was going to be released next year.
I had no problem living off of the money I made, and although it would be difficult to save the company if it went bankrupt, I knew it wouldn’t go bankrupt, so it was best to just stay still.
I was lying in bed with my sister lazing around when I heard a vibration coming from the bed.
“Jaehoon. I think you got a call.”
“Is it mine? Why are you calling?”
My older sister handed me her phone and when I looked at it, it was my older sister.
-Oh. What’s wrong, sister?
-You said you wanted to eat, kid?
-Who is it?
-New baby.
I’m sure we talked about this at lunch yesterday?
-That’s what happened.
-I talked to my boyfriend and he said let’s eat it today.
-I don’t mind. When?
-Then I will pick you up in front of your house at six.
-Did you buy a car, sister?
-No. My boyfriend’s car. Anyway, see you later.
-yes.
“Sister. When did you ask Sister Aye to eat with you?”
“I sent a text message after lunch yesterday and went to class.”
“Oh, my sister is a native Korean.”
“Huh?”
What on earth is going on so fast? I don’t know if it’s a good thing that my girlfriend’s execution skills are exceptionally fast, but I never had time to be bored.
After telling my sister that I was going to eat dinner tonight and lying down in bed, I heard my mother raising her voice from the living room.
I was just going to lie down and laze around comfortably, but why am I so agitated today?
It’s not common for my mom to raise her voice, so I got out of bed and went into the living room to see my mom scolding Ye-eun.
“Why? What’s going on?”
“Son! Ye-eun was supposed to study with mom today? But she’s going out to play?”
“Can’t you just come here and do it?”
“If you make a promise to your mom, you have to keep it!”
“That’s right. Ye-eun, go study.”
“Oppa! I made plans to meet up with my friends, but what if I’m the only one missing?”
Now that I look at it, it wasn’t just Junsu’s kid who was the problem.
I never thought there would be an ambush lurking.
“Yeeun-ah. Which comes first? Which comes first? Which comes first? And if you make a promise, you have to keep it.”
“See you.”
Ye-eun glares at me and enters the room stomping her feet.
What’s the crime of the lower floor? And that thing must hurt your feet.
“But Ye-eun listens to her son.”
“Yeeun, do you hang out with your friends often these days?”
“Playing all day. Lately, I’ve been wanting to have a pajama party and I’ve been thinking about playing all day.”
“Ouch. That’s a big deal.”
I was starting to get really worried about Ye-eun, who was already thinking about staying out all night, so I headed to her room.
“Yeeun-ah. Are you coming in?”
When I opened the door and went in, Ye-eun was lying on the bed with her face buried in it as if she was saying, ‘I’m upset.’
“What’s the problem?”
“I was planning to go out with my friends, but I can’t go.”
“What’s the problem with you not being able to go?”
“I don’t know because my brother doesn’t have any friends!”
“…..”
Yeah, I didn’t know because I don’t have any friends.
“Ye-eun, it’s not that you can’t make friends, it’s that you don’t make friends.”
“Anyway, my brother doesn’t have any friends, so he doesn’t know how I feel.”
“Then, can I just study quickly and go out?”
“After you’re done, all your friends will go home. You idiot!”
You’re calling me an idiot because I resemble my mom even though I resemble my dad. I had a lot to say in rebuttal, but I held back.
“Then promise your mom that you’ll study twice as hard when you come back from playing and leave.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Instead, I’ll definitely stick to my promise to double it.”
“Okay!”
Ye-eun gets out of bed and goes into the living room.
He’s in the 5th grade of elementary school, so I can understand why he’s acting like that, but I think we need to watch him more closely for the time being.
After seeing Ye-eun leave the living room after getting permission from her mother, I went back into the room and saw Sae-ah lying on the bed.
“What’s going on?”
“I think Ye-eun is already going through puberty.”
“Why?”
“You’re an idiot to me.”
“Foot. Is that Ye-eun?”
“Yeah. You look like your dad.”
“So what did you say?”
“I had a lot to say, but I held back. I can’t do it to you like I do to my dad.”
As I was lying back down in bed lazing around, I became curious about what my sister Sae-ah, next to me, was doing.
“Sister. Aren’t you interested in things like pajama parties?”
“Yeah. There isn’t any?”
“Why?”
“Just? I’m not interested at all.”
“What about playing with friends? You don’t usually play outside.”
“But instead, I play with Jaehoon all the time.”
As expected, my older sister was a true girlfriend.
As I was lying down side by side, nodding my head alone, lunch came quickly, and when I went out to the living room with my older sister, my mother and mother-in-law were there.
“Hello.”
“Son-in-law. What do you want for lunch?”
“What about the craftsman?”
“I went fishing with your dad.”
“Where?”
“I went to Taean because it was warm and good for fishing.”
“Suddenly?”
“Yeah. My husband and I searched and found out about boat fishing? We went there.”
These days, I’m thinking that maybe my dad wasn’t like this in his past life. He seems to have changed so much that I’m worried that he might be very different from the future I know.
If the actions of an ordinary person, or even the successor to a large corporation, change, it may not be noticeable right away, but wouldn’t it make a big difference over time?
In the end, I ordered a simple seafood stew for lunch from a nearby restaurant and sat in the living room to wait.
“Son-in-law. Isn’t Sae-ah’s maternal grandfather saying that we should get engaged soon?”
“Why all of a sudden?”
“Jaehoon is handsome and smart, so you’re telling me to hurry up and do it because you’ll see him everywhere later?”
“I’m a first year middle school student?”
“You should talk now, as soon as possible.”
When I see my mom just quietly listening, I don’t know what she’s thinking.
“Why isn’t Mom saying anything?”
“What should I say when Sae-a is looking at me so earnestly next to my son?”
Looking to the side, I see Sae-ah’s older sister looking at her real mother with longing eyes.
“My sister and I are both young, so we should at least go to college.”
“Then 3 years would be enough?”
“If only my sister’s heart doesn’t change, right?”
“Pfft! Why? Do you think your son-in-law won’t change?”
“You know my personality, right?”
“That’s true. My son-in-law is also very unique.”
Soon after, the food we had ordered arrived, and the four of us sat in the kitchen and started eating the seafood stew.
“Madam. What about Ye-eun?”
“I went to meet my friends. I’m always busy playing. Sae-ah is so quiet.”
“Even at Sae-ah’s age, she would sing songs about wanting to see Jae-hoon in the US all the time and it was no joke.”
When my mom and I looked at my sister, her face turned red in embarrassment.
“Sister. But you’re not embarrassed outside, but you’re embarrassed about this?”
“What I do is originally okay.”
“Then what’s wrong?”
“It’s not me who’s doing it, it’s someone else who’s saying it.”
I don’t know what the difference was, but I had a delicious meal and lazed around in bed with my sister.
Before I knew it, the time to meet with my positive older sister was approaching.
