Chapter Index

“Did you pack all your bags?”

    “Yes.”

I nodded, putting my bag on my back as Amy said.

The big Big Bagsy was dragging on the ground when I lifted it, so Amy had to lift it instead.

The day we left Perman’s Castle, where we had grown attached.

As we looked back at the place where our traces were deeply left, a slightly lonely feeling emerged.

    “Let’s go.”

Amy also packed her bags and spoke to us.

Outside the wide open door, Victor was waiting for us, leaning against the wall.

    “Victor. Where is Rain?”

    “I don’t know.”

I looked around and asked about the invisible rain.

It’s the last day, so it shouldn’t be too late, but where did Rain disappear to?

Judging from the fact that Chuchu wasn’t even in sight, it seemed like the two of them had gone out to play somewhere.

    Woof woof!

At that moment, Chuchu came running with all his might from the end of the hallway.

Chuchu had Rain’s plump chick bag in his mouth.

I stretched out both arms towards Chuchu.

Chuchu, who noticed me, ran towards me and started to slow down.

Chuchu jumped at me with just enough force to keep me from falling.

Fluffy fur covered his entire body.

    “Chuchu. Did you sleep well?”

    Woof woof!

    Chuchu answered my question forcefully.

Because of that, the bag of chicks that was in his mouth fell to the ground.

The chick bag was soaked with Chuchu’s saliva.

I quickly picked it up again, afraid that Chuchu might run away with Rain’s bag in his mouth.

    “Yaaaah!”

At that moment, Rain’s voice was heard from the other side of the hallway where Chuchu had appeared.

She was running hard with her face bright red.

    I waved at Lane.

    “Rain!”

    “Jeff! Shine!”

Lane, who had been running hard, jumped up in place and waved both arms excitedly.

Her golden hair sparkled in the morning sunlight.

    “Did Chuchu steal it again?”

He asked, handing over the bag to Lane who had come closer.

    Rain nodded, glaring at Chuchu.

“Yeah. I think this guy loses his mind when he sees my bag.”

As he said this, Rain waved his bag in front of Chuchu’s eyes.

Shake shake – Chuchu’s butt shook without mercy to the rhythm of the chick’s slowly swaying butt.

“Did you all take good care of everything without forgetting anything?”

Amy asked, checking on the gathered group.

I checked my things carefully to make sure I hadn’t left anything behind.

The stone dinosaurs in my bag were fine, and I also took my picture diary.

I didn’t forget my sketchbook either.

    “No problem.”

Victor and Rain nodded, wondering if they had forgotten anything.

We started walking down that long hallway.

Pass through the hallway, go down the stairs and arrive in front of the large gate.

There was a line of people bowing their heads towards us.

“Dad told you to do it, right?”

Amy looked around at them and said.

    People didn’t answer.

Amy let out a small sigh and walked forward.

    I chased Amy too.

I walked slowly and took in the people around me one by one.

People who were kind to me.

Honestly, I couldn’t remember all their names and faces, but they were friendly to me and Shine.

    I waved to people.

The gate, which had been tightly closed, opened by itself as we approached.

The early morning sunlight and cold wind brush against my cheeks.

The cold air flowing into my mouth woke me up.

Ferman was standing in the middle of the garden.

It was my first time seeing Ferman this early in the morning, so I waved to him.

    “Grandpa!”

Ferman met my gaze as I spoke.

    He waved at me too.

    Woof woof!

Chuchu, who had been circling around us, ran towards Ferman.

Chuchu lies down next to him.

Only the tail stood stiffly and waggled.

    “Are you busy?”

When Amy walked slowly and reached Ferman’s side, she asked him.

When asked the question, Ferman answered with a small smile.

    “You can make time.”

“I thought you might be overdoing it.”

“Do I look like I’m trying too hard?”

“Wasn’t there a meeting scheduled for later?”

    “That happened.”

    “Then you are overdoing it.”

Ferman didn’t answer and just smiled faintly.

His gaze turns to me and Shine, who are behind Amy.

I lifted my hand slightly so that Ferman could see it better.

The silver lion sparkled in the morning sunlight, revealing its red eyes.

Amy, who had been staring at Ferman without saying anything, mumbled something softly.

The words swept away by the cold wind disappeared without being properly completed.

But it seemed like Ferman heard Amy correctly.

    Ferman’s eyes widen in surprise.

Amy licked her lips slightly, then took her cell phone out of her pocket.

    Her face was slightly red.

    “Jin. We’re leaving.”

    Amy starts talking to Jin.

As I made the call and told them my purpose, a strange flow began to occur around me.

    Kwajik-!

    A distortion of space occurs.

The previously intact void is twisted and torn apart.

The black vortex thus created begins to expand its range.

    “Come visit me anytime.”

    Ferman told us.

I looked at Ferman without saying anything, then took out the dinosaur rock from my bag.

It was my treasure, beautifully painted with watercolors.

There were two stone dinosaurs in total, but I thought it would be okay to give one to Ferman.

    “Jeff. That.”

    “Yeah. It’s my treasure.”

    I nodded and approached Ferman.

    “Jeff?”

“I’ll give you this. My treasure.”

I handed Ferman a dinosaur rock.

It was a stylish dinosaur covered in bright colors.

Ferman stared at the dinosaur rock in his hand for a long time.

I took two steps back and showed him the rest of the dinosaurs.

“Two make a pair. The dinosaurs must meet again.”

    “Two is a pair?”

“Yes. So I will come see you again.”

I smiled slightly as I moved the dinosaur rock in the air.

Ferman, who was looking down at me, laughed along with my laughter and copied my movements.

The dinosaur in Ferman’s hand moved in the air.

    “Jeff.”

I heard Amy’s voice calling me from behind.

I glanced at Ferman, then turned and ran.

Amy, standing in front of a giant whirlpool, reached out her hand to me.

I looked at her once and then back at Ferman standing behind her.

    Ferman was smiling.

    I waved at him.

Amy’s other hand was held by Shine.

Amy, who confirmed that both of them were holding her hand, walked towards the whirlpool.

A large, rippling black space began to swallow up Amy’s collection.

I too took steps towards it.

The air changes in an instant.

Not the cold morning air that blows coldly.

The air was slightly humid, yet warm.

    I blinked slowly.

A forest covered in thick fog.

The thick smell of grass wafting from all directions tickled my nose.

    I looked around in confusion.

    “Come on in!”

At that moment, I could spot a black shadow approaching through the fog.

Startled by the sight of a shadow swaying in the fog, I hid behind Amy and watched the shadow approach.

    “Jin?”

It was Jin who approached through the fog.

Amy looked around and asked Jin, wondering if it was her first time in a place like this.

    “Did you move?”

“You can’t just use a place that was caught by the government.”

    Jin answered Amy’s question.

He spun his body around with both arms stretched out with all his might.

For some reason he looked happy.

    “Where is this?”

“A place no one knows about, my secret place.”

“Can you tell us about that place?”

“I’m telling you because it’s you.”

The fog began to slowly clear.

As the fog clears, the surrounding scenery is revealed, leaving you gaping in amazement.

There were countless large trees standing tall.

Sunlight poured down like rain through the leaves swaying slowly in the wind.

The shadows of the falling leaves on my face slowly swayed and tickled my face.

    “Still, it was resolved quickly.”

    “Thanks to Uncle Perman.”

As Jin spoke, he blinked one eye at me and Shine.

I stuck my tongue out at the disgusting sight and turned my head away.

    “Wow!”

Rain seemed to really like it here.

Lane looked around with both arms spread out.

She took a deep breath and started spinning around, making a loud noise.

    Tadadada. Tadadada.

The sound of short footsteps echoed throughout the area.

    “Rain seems to like it.”

“What is this? This isn’t a hallucination, is it?”

“It’s definitely not a hallucination. It’s a place that can’t even be detected by satellites.”

Jin spoke to us with a confident expression.

He looked around, gestured to us, then turned and walked away.

It seemed like he was telling me to follow him.

As Amy walked after Jin, we followed behind her.

“You found this place so well.”

“I got in touch with some old friends.”

I walked over to the large blade of grass while listening to Amy and Gene’s story.

A large blade of grass, like something out of an old tale, was waving at me.

I absentmindedly placed my hand on the blade of grass.

The grass leaves that were covered in moist dew trembled at my gesture and shook the dew off their bodies.

Startled by the sight, I pulled my hand away and clung to Amy’s leg.

“Amy! Amy! The grass is moving!”

    “They’re all alive.”

It was Jin who answered my question.

    Are you alive?

I stared blankly at the blades of grass.

The blades of grass were slowly swaying.

It’s not just the blades of grass.

Both the large trees and the small flowers blooming along the road.

He was slowly shaking his body in a strange direction.

Not being swayed by the wind, but having one’s own will.

    “Wow!”

    A plant with a will.

Rather than feeling scared, I felt a surge of interest.

I stepped away from Amy’s legs and walked towards the large tree.

    “Jeff.”

“Shine. Look here. The branches are moving. ”

I held Shine’s hand and walked closer to the large tree.

The tree waved its branches as if greeting us.

I also waved my hand and greeted him.

    “Hello, Mr. Tree.”

    Hahaha-

A small laugh was heard from within the tree.

I was startled by the voice and ran to Amy’s legs.

    “Amy! The tree laughed!”

He holds onto Amy’s leg tightly, holding Shine’s hand.

    “A tree?”

Amy, who was walking forward, stopped walking at my words.

Her gaze turned to the tree I was pointing at.

The branches swayed slowly as if greeting Amy.

    Sararak- Sararak-

The sound of leaves slowly dispersed.

As we stared at the tree, Jin began to explain to us.

    “That’s a tree.”

    “I know, Jin.”

    “And my friend.”

    “Are you kidding me?”

    Hahaha-

    The laughter erupted once again.

This time the laughter was loud enough for everyone to hear.

At that sound, Amy’s powers were raised.

A white aura flows out and covers Amy’s back.

“Sorry! I didn’t mean to tease you!”

At that moment, an unfamiliar voice was heard.

I turned my gaze towards where the sound came from.

The highest point of the tree branch from which laughter was heard.

There was a little boy sitting there.

He was so short that there wasn’t much of a difference in height between me and Shine.

    “Allen!”

Jin waved his hand with a happy face.

In response, the boy named Allen also waved at Jin.

Then the tree branches shook violently.

It looked as if the tree was waving its hand.

Allen jumped up from the branch.

Then the large tree branch began to descend, carrying Allen.

As they got closer, Allen’s figure was revealed.

    Golden eyes and copper skin.

    And long, braided black hair.

    “Hi. I’m Allen.”

The boy waved his hand with a cool smile.

His laughter carried the wind of the forest.

    Saaaa-

A cool breeze blew, shaking the leaves.
