Chapter Index

I slowly descended from Shine’s body under Amy’s gaze.

Shine didn’t even think about getting up until I came down.

I lifted Shine up from where she was lying and hugged her from behind.

It felt good to have the soft, shiny skin brush against my face.

    “Is Jeff okay?”

    “Yes.”

I nodded, resting my head on Shine’s shoulder.

Amy, who had a strange expression on her face, touched her forehead and let out a small sigh.

“But I think it would be better to rest… .”

    “I’m okay, I’m not sick.”

    Amy approached us slowly.

She sat on one side of the soft bed, reached out and gently stroked my hair.

Her gaze turns to the bandages wrapped around her head.

    “What if it’s ugly?”

I followed Amy’s hand and felt the bandage.

A rough texture touches my fingertips.

I hope Amy doesn’t get a scar on her forehead like she’s worried about?

I felt a little uncomfortable thinking that my pretty body, which resembled Shine, would be scarred.

    “Where does Shine hurt?”

Amy, who was stroking my hair, touched Shine’s forehead, who was in my arms, with her hand.

As she said, Shine looked like she was in pain somewhere.

Shine’s whole face was flushed red as if she had a cold.

I pushed away the hair covering the back of Shine’s neck and put my face on top of it.

    Shine’s body flinches violently.

    It’s hot.

The heat running down my cheeks made me think I definitely had a cold.

I asked, burying my face in Shine’s back.

“Shine, where are you sick? Do you have a cold?”

His voice was muffled because he spoke while his face was pressed against Shine’s neck, but it was enough to understand what he meant.

Shine slowly shook her head at Amy and me’s questions.

“Do you think you have a fever?”

Amy muttered worriedly as she looked around Shine’s body.

At Amy’s movements, I carefully put Shine down and took a step back.

    “I’m not sick… .”

Contrary to Shine’s words, her fever showed no signs of going down.

Shine was quickly placed on the bed by Amy’s touch.

    “I… I don’t have a cold.”

    “Should I call Rabin?”

I walked up to Shine and grabbed her hand.

    “Shine… .”

    “Jeff I’m not sick.”

No, the hand holding it was also hot.

    She definitely had a cold.

I stroked Shine’s hair with a worried expression.

If she’s sick, I’m sick too.

Shine looked at me and Amy and sighed in disbelief.

    Her breath was hot too.

Shine closed her eyes and began to slowly catch her breath.

As her breathing calmed, the heat on her face disappeared in an instant.

As I was startled and touched various parts of Shine’s face, Shine opened her eyes.

    “Amy. Shine is all better.”

    “I don’t have a cold.”

Shine said that and got up from the bed.

Amy and Shine had a blast, but luckily, it didn’t seem like she had a cold.

Since children have weak immune systems, it is not unusual for them to catch a cold anytime, anywhere.

I used to get sick with colds too.

    “Really… ?”

Amy nodded, wiping her feverishly chilled forehead.

“It’s just… Jeff made me weird.”

    “Because of me?”

I pushed my face in front of her at Shine’s words.

Is it really because of me? I put my finger to my face with a questioning expression.

    “Ugh… .”

    Shine nodded, avoiding my gaze.

The tips of Shine’s ears turn slightly red.

A change that is even more noticeable because of the pure white skin.

I reached out and touched Shine’s ear.

Her ears were soft and fluffy.

As I continued to touch it, feeling quite pleased with the texture, Shine pulled back and avoided my touch.

I wiggle my fingers in regret.

    “Yes… . It’s still like that now.”

Shine blushed and clutched her chest.

    What’s the problem?

    “What is this?”

Shine clutched her chest and looked confused.

Anyway, if you’re not sick, there’s nothing to worry about, right?

From that day on, Shine changed noticeably.

Even when I approached him, he was startled and when I offered him the candy he was eating, his face turned bright red and he refused to accept it.

Because of that, all the candy I was eating ended up in Rain’s mouth.

    “Rain… .”

    “Huh?”

Lane was tapping away at the game console with the candy I had given him in his mouth.

I walked up close to Rain’s back and spoke weakly.

“I think Shine has become a little strange.”

    “Shine?”

    “Yeah.”

Only then did Rain take his eyes off the game console and look at Shine sitting on the corner of the bed.

    “Um… .”

“It feels like you’re avoiding me, but you’re not.”

    “What is that…?”

    “I don’t know.”

Anyway, the problem was not solved.

That’s how me, Shine, and Rain spent our time.

    I have nothing to do.

Having passed the exam, Shine was free all the time until the systematic training suitable for her was ready.

I was classified as a patient and banned from all training until the bandages on my head were removed.

“Should I go and talk to you?”

    “Really?”

“Okay. I’ll find out what the problem is.”

As he said that, Rain put down the game console and ran to Shine.

It really looked like watching a chick running with its short legs moving hard.

Rain approached Shine, sat down next to her, and began to talk.

Although I couldn’t hear his voice because he was far away, I could see that Rain was becoming more and more flustered as time passed.

Rain, with her face flushed red and looking helpless, and Shine, with a calm expression, speaking in front of her.

I looked puzzled at the contrasting appearances of the two people.

Shine looked at Rain like that, put her finger to her lips, and made a shh gesture.

Rain nodded with his mouth covered.

After finishing her conversation with Shine, Rain ran towards me, waving her arms.

A face flushed red and breathing heavily.

    She was excited.

    “What did you talk about?”

Rain looked at me and mumbled.

It seemed like he had a lot to say, but perhaps because of his promise with Shine, what he could say seemed limited.

    “That… .”

    “That?”

    “I think Shine likes you.”

    I nodded to Rain’s words.

That was such an obvious fact.

    I liked Shine too.

    “I like shine too.”

    “Ugh… .”

Rain shook his head and touched his lips as if to say that it wasn’t true.

    “And I like Rain too.”

I answered with a bright smile.

Rain was also a precious family member to me.

Like Shine, he gave me his affection without asking for anything in return.

Although the magnitude of the feelings may be different, the feelings they had for Rain and Shine Amy were the same.

    Rain blushed at my answer.

    Her gaze dances dizzyingly.

The eyes that swim endlessly around the room look pretty.

    “That… Thank you.”

    “Do you like me too?”

    “Ugh… .”

I smiled brightly at Rain’s answer and grabbed her hand.

It was a soft, small hand, not much different from Shine’s.

“So tell me. What did you and Shine talk about?”

Rain turned his head, looking confused at my question.

At the end of her gaze was Shine.

The gaze of the person sitting on the edge of the chair and looking at me was somehow so hot.

I was startled and let go of Rain’s hand.

Shine looked at Rain and put her finger in front of her lips again.

    fizzle-

    You must never tell Jeff.

I think I heard something like that.

    Rain nodded at Shine’s appearance.

Did the two of them have a secret?

I pouted my lips in disappointment.

    “I’m going to play too.”

I snatched the game console from Rain’s hand.

    “That’s mine… .”

    “I’ll do it too.”

    “Yeah… .”

After playing around with the game console for so long, my neck started to hurt.

I got up from my seat and went to the refrigerator while doing some simple stretching.

I was thirsty so I wanted to drink something cold.

As I was taking a cold drink out of the fridge and bringing it to the table, I stumbled upon a strange scene.

Shine and Rain sitting in front of the computer.

It seemed like Rain was teaching Shine how to use the computer.

I sat down at the table and looked at the two people.

The cup we were using today was a pretty cup with rabbit ear decorations.

I poured some drink into it.

Shine and Rain seemed to be searching the Internet for some information.

It was hard to see the screen clearly because it was far away, but both of their faces were bright red.

His breathing also seemed much rougher than usual.

After a moment of confusion, a blue shield appeared on the screen.

The guard program that Amy had installed was activated.

Since they were usually the only ones using the computer, Shine and Rain seemed confused by the computer suddenly freezing up.

I started drinking the cool, sweet drink.

Although it wasn’t carbonated, I really liked the smooth finish.

The sweet peach scent spread strongly.

The two people who had been sitting in front of the computer for a while were forced to come down from the computer without being able to break through the blue shield symbol.

I watched the two people moving to the bed and continuing their conversation, then carefully moved towards the computer.

Turn on the computer that was turned off and check the remaining time.

Since the two people didn’t use it for long, the usage time was ample.

As I sat down in front of the computer, I felt two people’s eyes on me.

To avoid any unnecessary suspicion, I launched YouTube as I usually did and started watching the [Little Witch’s Great Adventure] video.

Since a new video was uploaded to a channel I subscribed to, I was able to kill some time.

After watching the video for a while, I noticed that the two people’s interest had waned, so I immediately went to my Internet search history.

    “Uh… .”

I opened my mouth in admiration.

Because the content was so long that it was hard to believe that the two people had searched it together.

I blinked and touched my cheek.

    I feel the burning heat.

    Knock knock knock-

The more I rolled the mouse wheel, the redder my face became.

After checking the last search term, I closed my eyes tightly.

I slowly took a deep breath and moved the mouse to delete all of my search history.
