    205 – Debugging (2)

    I saw an artificial intelligence.

An artificial intelligence that didn’t even have a name to call its creator, Meiko, “Mom.”

That artificial intelligence, which had caused me trouble in many ways, resembled Meiko.

“Still, the results are good, so the Empress said she would provide direct support to you! From now on, no one in the Magic Academy will be able to ignore you and Mom!”

It even shared that strange stubbornness.

    Unconsciously, I looked at Meiko.

“Why, why are you looking at me?”

Meiko, who met my gaze, stammered in surprise.

It seemed she also felt that she resembled the artificial intelligence in a peculiar way.

    “It’s nothing.”

I looked back at the artificial intelligence.

There was not a hint of hesitation on her face.

She was confident in her statement.

I needed to make her realize that this was wrong.

    It seemed words wouldn’t do.

    “Hmmm…”

In the end, it meant I had to show her through actions.

    “Master.”

    “Yeah?”

“Have you ever given this friend a name?”

“No? Not specifically. But why all of a sudden?”

I couldn’t keep calling her an artificial intelligence forever.

    “She needs a name.”

    “A name?”

At the mention of a name, the artificial intelligence clapped her hands in delight.

“Indeed, you recognize me, Master! You know how amazing and capable I am!”

    She exclaimed with excitement.

“I’ve always hoped you would acknowledge me, maintaining the Magic Circle every day while the power was on. Of course, it was thanks to the self-repair magic formula you provided, but I still worked hard! Plus, to improve my performance, I continuously analyzed the desires of other guests and their corresponding reactions!”

I could feel traces of that effort everywhere.

The quality of the illusions had indeed improved.

While the overall framework remained the same, there were various changes in the finer details.

For instance, the clarity of the paintings on the walls in Helen’s house, or the patterns and textures of the walls had become more detailed.

“My efforts have finally borne fruit!”

At the artificial intelligence’s words, I unconsciously looked back at Meiko.

    “Why, why?”

    “It’s nothing.”

“Don’t keep reflecting me onto that artificial intelligence!”

“I didn’t think you and that artificial intelligence resembled each other.”

“You were saying it with your expression!”

“Of course! I’m practically a child created based on Meiko’s ego!”

    “Hey! Be quiet!”

Meiko felt like she was in the middle of us.

I looked at the artificial intelligence for a moment.

“I think it would be nice to take part of the Master’s name for her. How about using ‘Mei’ or ‘Ko’?”

    “I don’t like that.”

    Meiko said firmly.

“It would feel weird if the name was similar since we look alike. So I think it’s better to give her a completely different name.”

    “Understood.”

“I’m fine with whatever name you and Mom give me!”

    I pondered for a moment.

I thought of a few names that would suit an artificial intelligence.

“Siri and Jarvis are too risky.”

Those names felt like they would get me sued for copyright infringement.

Several candidates popped up in my mind, and I said the one that seemed the best.

    “How about Lunette?”

    “Lunette?”

It meant “little moon” in French.

I thought it was the best word to refer to this newly born artificial intelligence girl.

“It’s a word that means little moon from the area where I lived.”

“Little moon. Lunette… That’s nice! I really like it. Please call me Lunette from now on!”

“Great. I’m glad you like it, Lunette.”

I took a step closer to her.

    “But Lunette.”

    “Yes, Master.”

“As I warned earlier, results-oriented thinking won’t solve problems. One day, a big accident will happen.”

“But Master, as you saw, I succeeded for sure!”

    “Yeah. This time you did.”

The problem was that it was a dangerous situation that could have collapsed our entire shop with just a slight misstep.

“So I want to show you.”

    “Show me what?”

“That results-oriented thinking isn’t always the answer.”

    “Huh?”

    “Master.”

I called Meiko, leaving a bewildered Lunette behind.

    “Let’s begin.”

“Are you really going to do it?”

“Yes. A little (?) discipline is needed to correct the impudent Lunette.”

Meiko, who understood my words immediately, began to chant a spell.

“Wait a minute. You two aren’t planning to take control of this place, are you? No matter what, this is my space, and it’s absolutely impossible. Here, I am the master…”

Lunette’s expression changed as she spoke.

    “Huh? Huh?”

“Don’t underestimate the power of the mother who created you.”

    “Who, who’s my mom!”

At my words, Meiko shouted angrily.

“Anyway, Master didn’t become the youngest head of the academy for nothing.”

At my words, Meiko began to cast a spell to take control of the place.

I too started to manipulate the magic formula beside her, beginning to seize the authority of the administrator mode of this place.

“You two… Wait a minute. Please wait! This won’t solve anything…”

“You said it yourself, right? As long as the results are good, anything is fine.”

“No, this won’t lead to good results…”

“It will. For all of us.”

    I was confident.

I would have a well-behaved assistant, and Lunette would be able to enjoy pleasure.

    “Master…”

Having gone through many experiences with me, she seemed to sense what I was about to do.

    “Please stop. I beg you…”

“Don’t worry. You’ll feel good soon.”

The surrounding light began to shine brighter.

At the same time, the magic that Meiko and I had completed was activated.

The control of the illusion in administrator mode shifted from Lunette to me.

“Then, let’s begin. What is your desire?”

I looked at the artificial intelligence.

    The scenery around us changed.

The completely transformed surrounding space was not a workshop.

    Nor was it Master’s laboratory.

It wasn’t the Elven Forest, the Sylvester family mansion, a cave full of monsters, a temple, or even the imperial palace where the Empress resided, nor the knights’ training grounds.

    The newly appeared space was…

    “Huh?”

A space that was too familiar to me.

    Nanako.

It was the house that appeared in the debut work of the actor I loved most in my past life.

    And…

To make it as similar as possible, it was the house I had created and experienced myself several times.

That house unfolded before my eyes.

    “Where is this?”

Meiko asked in surprise, and I couldn’t bring myself to answer.

    How could I say it?

“It’s the house that appeared in the adult film I always watched while pleasuring myself.”

Lunette couldn’t lift her head in that place.

Nikki, who had gone on patrol to hunt the Succubus, returned to the capital without achieving any results.

“Haah, I missed it after all.”

In a hurry, she had set out with the paladins to hunt the demons, fearing Eileen’s words that the Empress might strike at any moment, but the Succubus never showed herself, no matter how well they searched.

‘Could she be hiding in the capital?’

    It wasn’t entirely impossible.

The capital was almost the only area she hadn’t investigated.

It was a land full of people and swirling desires, making it the perfect hiding place for a Succubus.

    But still.

“Then Eileen must have noticed her.”

The Saintess couldn’t possibly be unaware of the Succubus’s presence.

No matter how well she hid, the dark energy and magical energy possessed by the Succubus couldn’t be missed by the Saintess, who had been chosen by the goddess.

    There was one possibility.

‘Could it be that Eileen has already fallen for the Succubus?’

If the Saintess had been distracted by something other than capturing the Succubus, it was possible.

Of course, Nikki didn’t know that the Succubus Frelia had completely drained Max of both his Essence and dark energy, leaving no trace behind.

That’s why she suspected that perhaps Eileen had intentionally sent her out of the capital.

‘No way. Eileen wouldn’t do that.’

It was Eileen, not just anyone.

The greatest Saintess who had fought alongside her to defeat the Demon King.

A woman who believed in and devoted herself to the goddess more than anyone else.

A pure virgin, incapable of blaming others or deceiving them.

She was sure that such a woman wouldn’t have deceived her.

“Hero, then we will return to the Order. Please call for us if anything happens.”

The paladins who had searched for the Succubus with her returned to their Order.

She too sent them off and headed home.

It had been a long time since her return.

“Once I get back, I’ll wash up for a bit and…”

    I need to find Max.

She hadn’t been able to pleasure herself alone while searching for the Succubus for so long.

She couldn’t bring herself to do it while deceiving the paladins camping right next to her in the tent.

In the end, the desires she had suppressed were tightly pressed down in her lower abdomen.

‘I want to do it quickly.’

As she thought that while returning home.

“Hero, I am Zeco, the vice-captain of the Empire’s First Knight Order.”

A comrade from the battlefield appeared before her.

    “Zeco, what’s the matter?”

    “The Empress has summoned you.”

    “Excuse me?”

    The Empress?

    She called for me?

    Why?

“Something happened while I was on my expedition?”

“Well… It’s difficult to explain here. Let’s go inside first.”

Nikki entered her home with Zeco and heard the news.

“They say they found traces of a Dragon.”

    “…A Dragon?”

“Yes. Traces of a Dragon have appeared in the Ice Mountains, and they plan to dispatch an investigation team to confirm this. Your help is urgently needed.”

    “…”

    No way.

    This absolutely cannot happen.

    It’s impossible.

    I can’t go!

It was true that a Dragon was a problem that couldn’t be easily overlooked.

Once it descended, it was a powerful being that could turn not only nearby villages but also several castles into ruins in an instant.

However, right now, she was facing something even bigger.

She was finally about to release the pleasure she had suppressed to the limit.

And now they wanted her to go on another expedition?

Biting her lip and trembling, Nikki desperately spoke to Zeco, who had come to report to her.

“Can’t you give me just one day?”

Her voice was more earnest than ever.

“I’m sorry. That’s not within my authority. You should speak to Her Majesty first.”

    Should I run away?

For the first time, Nikki contemplated abandoning her duty as a Hero.

Even if she ran away, no one would catch her.

    But soon, she stopped thinking.

If she became a fugitive here, she would never be able to use Max’s shop for the rest of her life.

“Alright… I have no choice. I’ll wash up quickly and come out.”

    “I’ll be waiting.”

    What should I do?

I want to see him and indulge right now.

Hero Nikki faced a once-in-a-lifetime crisis that she had never experienced even while hunting the Demon King.
