Chapter 82: Mikel’s Temple

Mikel’s Temple
Ugh…
He suddenly tells me to go to the Demon Realm…
Since my sword has been emitting blood mist on its own, it seems excited about going to the Demon Realm.
Solaris-nim said it’s a cursed demonic sword.
“You’re also from the Demon Realm, right?”
Looking at the Crimson Bind, the red mist grew thicker.
It’s as if it heard my thoughts.
Does this sword really understand me?
As I thought that, the mist grew even thicker.
Ack! It really was listening!
“Alright, Lycoris, before we go to the Demon Realm, let me tell you a few things to watch out for!”
Mikel-nim approached me, placing his hands on my shoulders.
His golden eyes looked more serious than usual.
Suddenly, the entire Colosseum fell silent, and even Miel’s flapping stopped.
“The Demon Realm is full of Evil Gods! Some of them especially like cute girls like you. If someone takes a liking to you, you must remember this important spell!”
Mikel-nim’s expression turned serious.
A spell? Is there a special spell to defend against such situations?
Perhaps a new authority from Mikel-nim?
“No! I don’t like it! Don’t do that!”
Huh…?
Is that the spell?
“And you must ask for help from others! This is the most important spell to protect yourself! Remember it well!”
Mikel-nim spoke very seriously, but his pink hair swaying slightly made him look cute.
“Mikel, if everyone there is an Evil God, will that even work?”
Solaris-nim sighed and rubbed his temple.
His face clearly showed frustration, as if explaining this many times.
“Oh, right!”
Mikel-nim’s expression changed suddenly, eyes widening as if he had an epiphany.
“Then, you must sneak through the Path of Evil Gods without being detected!”
“Where is the Path of Evil Gods?”
When I asked, Mikel-nim smiled brightly and shrugged.
“Of course you don’t know! You have to find it yourself!”
Ugh…
Thinking about what might happen in the Demon Realm gave me chills.
A place full of Evil Gods!
And I have to find the Path myself?
If I fail, I might be trapped in the Demon Realm forever!
Why didn’t I just stay in my carriage?
Or use my authority on some monster!
“The sun has no divine power and only you can see it, so it’s fine.”
Solaris-nim spoke to Miel in a voice I could hear.
Huh?
The sun?
It seems Miel received something I can’t see.
“What is that?”
“I gave Miel a small gift. It’s a little sun that conveys what Miel is thinking to me.”
Solaris-nim smiled faintly.
His smile was so dazzling it almost made me look away.
So envious!
I want a gift too!
“Oh! I should give you a gift too!”
Mikel-nim clapped his hands and said.
“Let’s go to my temple first! There are things you can use there!”
Yay!
Mikel-nim is the best!
I wondered what the gift could be, my heart racing with anticipation.
“Come on, follow me!”
Following Mikel-nim, we left the Colosseum.
Outside, the sight took my breath away.
A sky filled with fluffy clouds stretched endlessly.
And under our feet was also cloud.
Stepping carefully, it felt like walking on clouds in zero gravity.
The texture was soft and fluffy, like walking on cotton candy!
And right next to us was a massive temple.
It looked just like the temples of the gods from the Greek and Roman mythology comics I read as a child.
A grand, majestic, and beautiful temple on white clouds…
Shining pillars, a golden roof, and large, elaborate doors…
Everything was overwhelming.
“Wow!”
“This is my temple! What do you think? Isn’t it cool?”
Mikel-nim puffed out his chest proudly.
The light from the temple made his golden hair shine even more.
So cool!
It truly felt like the abode of a god!
“Mikel-nim, it’s really cool!”
Walking through the temple on clouds made me laugh involuntarily.
Experiencing a scene I’d only see in dreams!
“By the way, this Colosseum appeared after I became New Mikel!”
Mikel-nim turned to the Colosseum and said.
There it goes again!
New Mikel!
“What’s New Mikel?”
“Heh-heh! It’s a secret!”
Mikel-nim playfully put his finger to his lips.
Grrr!
Mikel-nim is so cute!
But Solaris-nim’s expression seemed complex, as if there was more to it.
Curious, but it’s a god’s secret, so I can’t pry…
“Mikel, is there something you can give her? Something with divine power might give her away to the Evil Gods.”
Solaris-nim asked Mikel-nim.
His face was still serious, but his voice carried a hint of concern.
“Huh! Don’t worry! You’ll be surprised!”
Mikel-nim replied confidently to Solaris-nim.
His confidence suggested he had an amazing gift in store.
What could it be!
Whatever it is, I can’t wait!
Finally, we entered Mikel-nim’s temple.
From the outside, it was grand, but inside, the feeling was even stronger.
The ceiling was high, the walls adorned with golden and silver carvings, and the floor mirrored like glass, reflecting my image.
All of it felt divine and unreal, truly a god’s realm.
Each step felt like holy energy spreading from my toes through my body.
Following Mikel-nim deep into the temple, we entered his room.
A room filled with cloud beds and sofas, marble furniture, and a ceiling with twinkling stars, bathed in a soft golden light.
There was a large window showing my carriage racing!
It looked like a TV screen!
“Huh! That’s my carriage!”
“Yes! I’ve been watching you through this window!”
Mikel-nim approached the window.
Indeed, my carriage was racing across the plains.
Inside were Ryandel and Levi, discussing something with worried expressions.
Though I couldn’t hear their conversation.
So this is how gods watch over us!
But then, I felt embarrassed.
If Mikel-nim has been watching my every move…
Memories of being chased by Belrez and Master’s comforting come to mind.
My face burned.
Ah! Master!
“Can we see Master through this window too?”
My voice was filled with hope.
It would be wonderful to see Master!
“Of course!”
Mikel-nim waved his hand in front of the window.
The view changed instantly.
A sky with black snow and frozen ground, and a magnificent white dragon in the middle.
Its scales shimmered like moonlight, and its piercing blue eyes seemed to gaze at the world.
Master’s presence was overwhelming even through the window.
Wow! Master! So cool!
Truly amazing!
“What’s this? Did something happen in the human world?”
Solaris-nim asked Mikel-nim.
A hint of surprise flickered across his face.
“Huh? I told you before!”
Mikel-nim pointed at the window where Master appeared.
“I must have heard it vaguely. Are those humans okay? It looks like many are dead.”
Solaris-nim asked.
The window showed frozen soldiers.
“They’re not my followers, so it’s fine!”
Mikel-nim said nonchalantly.
Huh!
So, as long as they’re not his followers, killing them is fine!
Important lesson learned!
Naturally, as the God of Blood and Slaughter!
“Mikel…”
Solaris-nim began to say something but then whispered to Miel.
Why can’t I hear?!
Curious!
What are they saying?
In the meantime, Mikel-nim changed the window view again.
A smoky, polluted land filled with grotesque undead.
The living corpses were so horrifying, just thinking about them gave me chills.
Zooming in, Nis-nim was enjoying tea at a fancy black table.
Surrounded by a dark fog that constantly raised the dead.
Nis-nim is incredibly powerful too!
Master and Nis-nim together are unstoppable!
Having just one of them is overwhelming, but together, they’re unbeatable!
“Sigh…”
Mikel-nim sighed suddenly.
Huh?
“Lycoris was a sweet seed only I knew, but she’s become so popular…”
Mikel-nim said sadly.
His golden eyes showed a hint of jealousy.
Hmm…
Felt like being the favorite of both mom and dad.
But honestly, without Mikel-nim, I wouldn’t be here.
If Mikel-nim hadn’t given me his blood, I might still be a seed, unable to sprout.
I hugged Mikel-nim tightly.
“I like Mikel-nim the most!”
It was genuine.
Of course, I also love Master, but can’t I love both?
Oh, does ‘most’ mean only one?
Ugh… I don’t know!
I’ll love both!
Mikel-nim smiled warmly and patted my head.
“Hmph! So I’m your favorite?”
Heh-heh.
Mikel-nim’s touch was warm and comforting, making me happy.
It’s such an honor to be liked by him!
“Miel says something about Frostia?”
Solaris-nim said suddenly.
His voice carried a hint of teasing.
Oh no! Are you crazy!
I glared at Miel.
Miel chirped and flew around me mockingly.
It made me angrier.
Such questions shouldn’t be asked in front of everyone!
“Heh-heh! Miel, make sure to deliver it well!”
Ahh…
So unfair!
Mikel-nim laughed and brought a mysterious box from the corner.
The box had strange black and purple patterns, unlike the bright, celestial feel of the temple.
“Alright! Take whatever you want from here!”
Mikel-nim opened the box.
Inside were items in black, red, and purple-jewelry, dark weapons, and strange objects, all emitting an aura of darkness.
“This is Evil God equipment! Why do you have it?”
Solaris-nim exclaimed in surprise.
His expression clearly showed genuine shock.
“Heh-heh! I cleaned up after defeating the Evil Gods and the gods of another realm 5,000 years ago and collected them!”
Mikel-nim said proudly.
His face was full of satisfaction.
Mikel-nim is so thrifty!
