Lee Han passed the final decision to Han Su-jin. He judged that it would be more effective to let her decide for herself rather than rushing in. On the surface, it seemed like he was giving her a choice, but in reality, the answer was already determined.

,Please meet me again tomorrow and give me your answer. Take your time to think about it today.”

At Lee Han’s words, Han Su-jin simply nodded weakly. Watching her leave the office with faltering steps, Lee Han was able to confirm his victory. He could already see what choice she would make.

That night, Lee Han sat in front of the camera and watched Han Su-jin’s house. She seemed to be having dinner and talking with her husband, Park Tae-young, as usual. There was no mention of the threats she had received. Lee Han felt a thrilling pleasure watching her try to act nonchalant.

Sitting alone in the dark office, a sinister smile crept across Lee Han’s face. He spent the night eagerly anticipating the arrival of tomorrow, imagining the moment he would receive Han Su-jin’s surrender and fulfill his desires.

As the morning sun rose, Lee Han threw open the office door. His heart fluttered with anticipation as he waited for Han Su-jin. About thirty minutes passed when she appeared with a knock.

Han Su-jin lingered in front of the door for a while, then grabbed the handle with trembling hands and opened it. She tried to maintain a calm expression, but her pale complexion revealed her anxiety and fear.

,Welcome, Han Su-jin-ssi. What decision have you made?”

Lee Han asked in a soft voice, but the underlying threat was palpable.

,I…”

Han Su-jin hesitated for a moment, bit her lip, and then lowered her head. Through the streaming tears, she barely managed to squeeze out an answer.

,…I’ll do as you say. Please, just don’t tell my husband…”

A sinister glint flashed in Lee Han’s eyes. Han Su-jin had swallowed the bait whole. She was now in the palm of his hand.

,That’s a wise choice. Don’t worry. I’ll keep our secret safe.”

Despite his sweet tone, Lee Han’s gaze was ruthless.

,For now, go back home and wait for my call.”

Lee Han sent Han Su-jin back. He wanted to enjoy watching her tremble with anxiety as she waited for his demands. He figured that if he deliberately dragged out the time and made his demands when her tension had eased, Han Su-jin would accept them more easily.

He decided to cut off contact for a few days and observe her. As time passed, Han Su-jin’s wariness seemed to gradually dissipate. She took care of Park Tae-young meticulously, as if trying to make up for neglecting him.

Watching this, a fun idea crossed Lee Han’s mind.

One evening, Park Tae-young returned home from work. Han Su-jin was about to greet him happily when she was startled to find a man standing behind him. Lee Han appeared behind Park Tae-young.

,Honey, this is Lee Han-ssi from the management office. He offered to help me with my heavy luggage when he saw me coming up,”

Park Tae-young introduced Lee Han with a smile. He was holding a heavy-looking box in his hands.

Han Su-jin said, unable to hide her embarrassment.

,Honey, give Lee Han-ssi a glass of water. He must be tired from carrying that heavy thing,”

Park Tae-young asked Han Su-jin. Lee Han stepped into the house, brushing past her as she reluctantly moved aside. He slowly walked around, surveying every corner of the apartment.

,Then I’ll put the luggage down here.”

Finally, Lee Han placed the luggage in the middle of the living room and turned to Han Su-jin. Their eyes met in a sliver of space. The corners of Lee Han’s lips curled up mischievously.

,Well, I’ll have a quick drink and be on my way.”

,Yes, please do. Just a moment, I’ll get you some water.”

It was a calm tone, but it felt like a threat to Han Su-jin.

Lee Han almost laughed as he watched her rush to the kitchen. It was obvious that she was extremely nervous and anxious.

Soon, Han Su-jin came back with a glass of water and handed it to Lee Han. Lee Han deliberately brushed his hand against hers as he took the glass and slowly drank the water, enjoying Han Su-jin’s pale face.

Han Su-jin watched him anxiously. It felt like her heart was dropping every time Lee Han opened his mouth.

,Soon, I’ll be coming and going from your house often. Be prepared.’

Muttering to himself, Lee Han placed the empty glass on the table. He curled up the corners of his lips and greeted the couple.

,Then I’ll be going now.”

,Ah, yes… Thank you.”

Lee Han found it hard to suppress his laughter as he watched Han Su-jin barely manage to reply through gritted teeth. She must have realized the reason why he had come to her house unannounced.

It was a silent declaration of war on his prey, a signal that he would drag her into his territory. He sent a warning message as if whispering with his eyes, and then strode towards the front door.

Han Su-jin sighed in relief as if she had been waiting for the door to close. Lee Han lightly walked down the stairs. He was satisfied with her reaction.

Next to Han Su-jin, who was troubled by Lee Han’s sudden visit, Park Tae-young spoke up.

,I thought Lee Han was just a security guard, but it turns out he’s the apartment manager personally chosen by the chairman. Since there’s no apartment complex chairman, he’s in charge of most of the work.”

Park Tae-young continued, marveling.

,He must be quite capable to have caught the chairman’s eye and been given a management position at such a young age. But he still treats us with respect and speaks politely, so he seems like a good person.”

Han Su-jin simply nodded. She was afraid that Park Tae-young, who didn’t know Lee Han’s true nature, would develop a liking for him.

,Still, don’t ask him to do too much, like carrying luggage. What if you get on his bad side?”

Then Park Tae-young smiled and replied.

,I was going to carry it myself, but he said he was on patrol and offered to help. He said the chairman instructed him to be as considerate as possible to the residents here, so I was very grateful.”

Park Tae-young added.

,I offered to buy him coffee next time. He said he had patrol duties left today, so he left right away.”

Han Su-jin’s expression stiffened, but she soon smiled and replied.

,Okay. You can buy him coffee outside next time.”

Park Tae-young felt happy seeing his smiling wife and leaned in to kiss her. Han Su-jin responded to his kiss.

Back in his office, Lee Han recalled Han Su-jin’s expression at home and burst out laughing. Then he recalled the clothes she was wearing and muttered.

,The real thing is different from the video, after all.”

Anticipating their next meeting, the corners of Lee Han’s lips curled up.

The next morning, Lee Han appeared in front of Park Tae-young as he was leaving for work. Park Tae-young waved and greeted him first, and Lee Han politely accepted his greeting.

,Are you heading to work?”

,Yes, thank you so much for last night.”

Park Tae-young greeted him again, and Lee Han waved his hand dismissively and said.

,It was nothing. By the way, it seems like the apartment is getting old in places since it’s been 10 years. Please let me know if there’s anything wrong.”

Park Tae-young hesitated for a moment and replied.

,I think there’s a bit of a problem with the water lately. It’s hard to control the hot and cold water, you know?”

,Then I’ll check it out and take care of it.”

At Lee Han’s words, Park Tae-young thanked him with a happy expression. He got in his car and called Han Su-jin.

,Honey, Lee Han-ssi said he’ll inspect and fix the water pipes.”

Han Su-jin’s face turned pale as she answered the phone, but she barely managed to compose her voice and replied.

Lee Han returned to his office with a satisfied smile. The water issue was something Lee Han had deliberately caused. He had done it because he could control the hot and cold water from his end.

The apartment was already designed to be mostly centrally controlled, and a professional company came regularly to diagnose any issues, so there shouldn’t have been any problems. But it was set up so that each individual unit could be controlled separately. He shuddered, thinking that this was probably also Chairman Park’s instruction.

While following Chairman Park’s instructions, Lee Han himself was gradually falling into the pleasure of domination and submission. Just a few months ago, he was struggling to find a job, but now he was so different from what he used to be.

Lee Han moved during the day and headed to Han Su-jin’s house. When he rang the doorbell, Han Su-jin appeared with a pale face.

,What are you doing?”

,I heard there was a problem with the water.”

Lee Han felt a strange pleasure at Han Su-jin’s attempt to appear strong.

Han Su-jin hesitated at Lee Han’s words, but eventually opened the door and let him in.

Lee Han went to the sink and pretended to check the water pipes, then connected to the control room with the computer he had brought and normalized the water system. Then he turned on the water and showed Han Su-jin that it was working properly.

Han Su-jin seemed rather flustered by Lee Han’s normal behavior. She hesitated for a moment and then offered her thanks.

Lee Han said he was thirsty and asked for water. Han Su-jin quickly handed him a glass of water. Lee Han sat at the table and drank the water, his eyes scanning Han Su-jin. She cowered like a frog in front of a snake.

He gestured for Han Su-jin to come to the table, and she reluctantly sat down.

Lee Han smiled and said.

,How have you been lately?”

Han Su-jin quietly avoided his gaze without saying anything.

,Aren’t you going to answer?”

At his threatening tone, she barely opened her mouth with a trembling voice.

,Nothing much…”

Then Lee Han suddenly grabbed Han Su-jin’s hand on the table. She trembled in surprise.

Lee Han gently stroked her hand and asked.

,Are you prepared?”

Han Su-jin closed her eyes for a moment and pondered, then replied.

,I’m already prepared. But… not here, and only once.”

,Do I have to listen to that?”

Lee Han retorted cynically. Then Han Su-jin opened her eyes and looked at him, saying firmly.

,There are things I can’t concede either.”

Lee Han felt a thrilling pleasure at her unexpected resistance.

Lee Han grinned and stood up. Han Su-jin bit her lip and quietly followed him. There was no longer a choice to refuse.

At those words, Han Su-jin closed her eyes and bit her lip. With trembling hands, she pulled down the straps of her dress, and the fabric slipped down. Lee Han curled up the corners of his lips as he saw her exposed skin.
