Second Expansion Pack

To proceed with the quest, the second place I sought out was the graveyard.

At the entrance of the graveyard, a warning sign was posted, telling people not to approach due to the spread of plague.

Inside the graveyard, a thick fog lingered, and huge spiders were crawling around, making a *kiririk* sound.

    They were truly horrifying bastards.

This time, there were a total of three quests to complete.

Obtaining spiderwebs from the spiders roaming the graveyard.

Dealing with the elite monster in the center of the graveyard.

And finally, taking care of the corpses that were starting to move in the graveyard’s underground.

I drew my Demon Sword and headed into the graveyard.

Near the entrance, I could at least see the spiders, but as I went deeper, it became harder to find them.

It seemed like another user had arrived faster than me and started hunting.

    *Kiririk*!

At that moment, a huge spider started rushing towards me.

If I spaced out, I’d definitely get bitten to shreds by the spiders.

I quickly dodged the spider’s attack and swung my sword. As the black mana-covered blade sliced through the spider’s leg, the leg was cleanly severed.

The blood flowing from the spider’s body had a green tint, as if it were poison. In fact, the blood that the monsters in this area shed wasn’t much different from poison.

Just because you killed a monster doesn’t mean you should approach it right away. If you approach before the blood on the ground disappears, you’ll get a poison debuff.

About five seconds after the giant spider died, the rotten blood that had soaked the ground disappeared.

    [White and Sticky Spiderweb]

An NPC resident in Plague Village said that they would use the spiderwebs of these giant spiders to make clothes for the winter.

I had to collect these spiderwebs.

The resident requested 60 spiderwebs, and it didn’t take long to collect them all.

Now, I had to go hunt the elite monster in the center of the graveyard.

As I slowly walked in the direction the quest indicated, there were many users waiting around.

Some of them were even my guild members.

    ,Ah, Guild Leader-nim!

I greeted my guild members happily and approached them.

,Are you guys doing the quest?

,Yes, everyone’s waiting for their turn.

    ,Hmm…

I nodded at those words and looked around.

The human and demon races were divided into two groups, standing in line.

This wasn’t a special area like Hell, so there shouldn’t be any need to antagonize each other, but this was their reaction.

,You don’t party up with humans?

,Huh? Why would we party up with humans?

I blankly opened my mouth at my guild member’s answer.

I should be thankful that a fight wasn’t breaking out here.

It seemed that the events in Hell had created a deep sense of animosity towards the opposing faction.

The atmosphere wasn’t good. Users from the human and demon factions were glaring at each other, gripping their weapons.

It felt like they would attack each other at any moment if something happened.

At that moment, the elite monster they were waiting for respawned.

With a dramatic entrance of crawling out from under the ground, it was a Death Knight, oozing evil mana from its entire body.

    [Death Knight Shun]

The moment the elite monster respawned, users from both factions started moving.

They were trying to get the quest monster for themselves.

,Wait! Wait a minute! We were here first!

    ,We were here first.

The human and demon users drew their weapons and slowly approached the elite monster, raising their voices.

At that moment, the Death Knight, recognizing its enemies, roared wildly and drew its sword.

    -*Kuoaaaaaaak*!!!

    ,Ah, what… me?

The Death Knight started rushing towards me.

I hurriedly started backing away. I didn’t want to fight with the users, so I wanted to keep the order.

But my actions seemed to be viewed differently by the human users.

,He’s taking the elite mob away!!!

    ,You cowardly bastards!!!

Cowardly bastards? I stared at the human users with a dumbfounded look.

Just like our demon users harbored animosity towards the human users, they seemed to have a great aversion to the demon users as well.

In that situation, me pulling the mob and backing away wouldn’t have looked good.

But, wouldn’t it have been okay to try and talk it out?

The human users started rushing towards the demon users, wielding their weapons like barbarians who didn’t know how to talk.

I couldn’t be free from their attacks either.

I narrowed my eyes and drew my sword.

It was fortunate that I had equipped PVP-dedicated gear in preparation for a possible situation.

    ,Kill them all!!!

Just like when we fought in Hell, the human and demon users started fighting.

The flashy effects of countless skills started rampaging everywhere.

    ,Die, Blood Demon!

The one who started rushing towards me, wielding his weapon, was a Paladin user.

Wearing a huge full plate, he recklessly charged, as if he believed in his own defense.

I bit my lip and had no choice but to keep backing away.

    ,Don’t run away, Blood Demon!!!

I was now more familiar with the title Blood Demon than my own nickname.

While I was constantly backing away, the Death Knight, who had been chasing me along with the Paladin user, turned around and started going back.

It seemed to be returning to its original spot because it had moved out of its aggro range.

That was the moment I started moving.

I stopped backing away and swung my sword to block the Paladin’s attack.

    *Kang*!

The Paladin user had the first attack priority.

After confirming that the user’s nickname had turned red, I immediately used [Leaping Strike].

The moment I kicked off the ground with all my might and soared into the air, I caught sight of the battlefield, which had become quite distant.

The Death Knight, whose aggro had been reset and had returned to its original spot, was rampaging happily.

Everyone, regardless of whether they were demon or human, was being killed by the Death Knight and started falling.

Most of the users were dead.

That meant there was no one left to claim they were here first and insist on their turn.

My body, which had been floating in the air, fell onto the Death Knight.

    *Kwang*!

Swinging my sword, a strong shockwave spread out. The Death Knight couldn’t withstand the impact and was pushed back.

I immediately followed up, swinging my sword and shouting.

    ,Everyone, leave the party!

Since I had gathered the members myself, my guild members weren’t clueless.

I quickly swung my sword and invited the surviving guild members to the party.

    ,Woooaaaaah!

The Paladin user, who I had left far behind, didn’t seem to have any charge skills, and was lumbering towards me, dragging his heavy body.

But it was too late. My sword had already reduced the Death Knight’s health to 50%.

My guild members’ ranged attacks followed.

    *Chwaak*!

I was so focused on the Paladin user that I couldn’t dodge the attack.

The moment the rusty giant sword grazed my shoulder, a chunk of my health disappeared.

But I didn’t back down. I swung my sword once more and struck the Death Knight, reducing its health to 20%.

The execution skill’s activation condition was met.

    [Execution]

I immediately used the execution skill attached to the Demon Sword, and my body moved quickly, stabbing the Death Knight’s heart with the sword.

    *Kwajijik*!

    This was the end.

The Death Knight fell to the ground, powerless.

Dealing with the Paladin user who arrived late was very easy.

Since I had attacked first, there was no PVP penalty, so there was nothing to hold back.

    *Kwajik*!

Using the Life Absorption skill, I pierced the Paladin’s chest and extracted his life force.

He called me Blood Demon until the very moment he fell.

    ,Y-you cowardly Blood Demon… Humans… Humans will take revenge…

    ,Shut up.

    *Peok*!

I kicked the guy who was starting to turn gray to push him away and pulled out my sword.

Everyone except our guild members was dead.

I smiled, slinging my sword over my shoulder.

,Did everyone loot the quest items?

    ,Yes! Thank you!

Fortunately, the party invitation hadn’t been too late.

I also turned around and approached the Death Knight’s corpse.

A small hand mirror was lying next to the corpse.

I had completed the second quest. I asked the two surviving guild members.

,Did you guys do the underground graveyard quest too? If you haven’t, would you like to do it together?

,R-really? Would it be okay to do it together?

    ,Of course.

The two people’s classes were Priest and Warlock, respectively.

Since they were classes that were good at supporting me from behind, it would be fine to act together until this quest was finished.

And so, I headed to the entrance of the underground graveyard with the two of them.

If you walk straight along the path prepared on one side of the graveyard, you will find a large underground entrance, which was the entrance to the underground graveyard.

The underground graveyard was the area where full-fledged undead appeared.

I was going down the stairs along the faintly lit green torches.

The guild members who were following behind me cautiously started to open their mouths.

    ,Um, Guild Leader-nim?

    ,Yes?

,A-are you really a middle school student?

    ,Yes, why?

I nodded at the Priest user’s question. I hadn’t exactly been hiding my age, but few people actually believed me.

The Priest user and the Warlock user seemed to be friends in real life.

The two exchanged glances and nodded.

It seemed they were very curious about my identity.

,D-do you look like that in real life too?

    ,Yes.

    ,Woooaaaah…

Is that something to be amazed by?

I stuck my sword into the ground and chuckled softly.

    ,Are you fascinated?

    ,Y-yes!

    ,We are!

They’re people who find a lot of things fascinating.

,If it’s not too much to ask, would it be okay to touch your hand?

    ,My hand…?

    ,Yes!

I twitched my eyebrows at the Priest user’s words.

They want to touch my hand?

Sohee sometimes fiddled with my hand, but could it be that my hand looks like it wants to be touched?

I looked at my hand and nodded.

    ,Here.

    ,W-woah…

The two female-type demons carefully started touching my hand.

About five seconds passed. I cleared my throat and pulled my hand away.

    ,Let’s hunt.

    ,A-ah…

The two looked at me with a disappointed expression, but I didn’t offer my hand again.

My purpose isn’t to hang out with guild members.

I had to level up quickly and get my gear.
