    After having fun with our guild member, [Arang’s Foot Licker] Miae, and logging into the game, the announcement popped up.

    Perhaps because it’s the last season update of the expansion pack, the update content was quite extensive.

    Since the raid isn’t coming out right away and only the raid prelude quests are being released, there’s no rush, so I decided to take my time and review the update details.

    First of all, the new content is naturally a new story and new quests for the next raid. I’ll do that as soon as I get into Leore, so I’ll skip it.

    The new equipment will be new crafting equipment and raid equipment, but since I need to clear the raid anyway, I don’t need it right now.

    New items are new doping items needed when going to the new raid, so this is important. But I don’t raise life professions, so I’ll pass on this too.

    I haven’t been playing Leore for very long, so I’m not particularly interested in the reorganization.

    The event information is about things you get by doing daily quests, weekly quests, or raids in Leore, so if you just play Leore as you have been, you can get a lot of delicious stuff.

    And the most important thing in this update is the balance patch.

    If you ask what’s the scariest thing in an RPG, it’s the balance patch.

    Balance patch.

    The balance patch is about judging the good and bad of each class and patching them by buffing or nerfing them.

    Even people who aren’t interested in patches can’t help but be interested in the balance patch.

    This is the first Leore balance patch I’ve ever received while playing Leore. With a pounding heart, I skipped to the balance patch section.

    [Balance Patch]

    I immediately jumped to my only max-level class, [Sword Master].

    Currently, the evaluation of Soma is like a hearty stew.

    The damage isn’t that low, and the party synergy slightly increases the stats of the entire party, so the overall damage of the party is guaranteed to increase, so the employment rate is quite good.

    In that situation, I don’t think there’s much to touch in the balance patch.

    But…

    “Huh?”

    The Soma section is longer than I thought.

    First of all, the developer’s comment at the top.

    ==

    [As a result of the steady increase in the growth and proficiency of Sword Master adventurers recently, they are showing excellent damage indicators in various contents.

    The damage indicator of the Sword Master is considered to be significantly higher than other classes recently.

    However, the current damage indicator of the Sword Master has a very large deviation compared to other classes.

    Therefore, we have reorganized the skills of the Sword Master to mitigate the damage deviation between Sword Master adventurers.]

    ==

    Are they doing a balance patch because of me…?

    Recently, before this update, I had been running various content and uploading my damage meter to the Leore log site.

    After getting the crafted equipment, I had been proudly ranking first in most Sword Master logs, even without the final equipment.

    Moreover, the gap between me and the second place was quite large.

    I was dealing almost the same damage as the pure dealer classes.

    In fact, it was a bit strange that a synergy dealer was competing with a pure dealer in terms of damage.

    I was actually thinking about the balance patch.

    I’m curious to see how it will change.

    ==

    [Sword Master]

    [Continuous Strike]

    Swing your sword to attack the front. Each successful attack increases attack speed by 3% for 3 seconds. Can stack up to 10 times.

    Attacks with 110% damage

    Swing your sword to attack the front. Each successful attack increases attack speed by 5% for 5 seconds. Can stack up to 5 times.

    Attacks with 115% damage

    Many adventurers are having difficulty maintaining [Continuous Strike], and we believe that the damage deviation is very large depending on the maintenance of [Continuous Strike], so we have restructured [Continuous Strike] to make it easier to maintain.

    ==

    First of all, the maximum number of stacks for Continuous Strike has been halved. Instead, the attack speed increase has been buffed by 2%.

    If you calculate the maximum number of stacks, it’s a 5% nerf, but the damage has been buffed from 110 to 115, so it’s not bad if you only look at this.

    Basically, if you use the Sword Master skill [Pentagon], you can maintain the maximum number of stacks of Continuous Strike, so it seems like they made it easier to use [Continuous Strike].

    If you think about it, it was so difficult that I was the only one among the Sword Master class who could maintain 10 stacks, but now it seems like anyone can maintain it.

    The problem was next.

    ==

    [Revenge]

    Parrying increases the final damage of the next attack by 30% and makes it a sure hit.

    [Revenge] skill deleted.

    A new active skill [Wish] is added.

    [Wish]

    When used, the final damage of the next attack is increased by 10% and becomes a sure hit. (20 seconds)

    As more end-game content has been added, it has become difficult to parry, and we have determined that the frequency of use of the [Revenge] skill has decreased and it has become a skill used only by certain adventurers, so we have deleted the [Revenge] skill and added the [Wish] skill to ease the conditions.

    ==

    This is… this is a very painful nerf.

    Other Sword Master users will be happy that the [Revenge] skill, which they don’t use anyway, has disappeared and has simply been changed to an active skill, but for me, who parries all the time and uses the [Revenge] skill, it’s a big nerf.

    Overall, it’s a pretty good patch for average or lower-end Soma users.

    They completely eased the difficulty of maintaining [Continuous Strike], making it possible for anyone to achieve [Continuous Strike] full stacks. Just use the skill [Pentagon] and you’re at full stacks.

    In addition, [Revenge], which was difficult to parry and therefore not used, has disappeared and has been changed to an active skill, so it’s good for users because they can use it whenever they want.

    It’s like they suddenly received a 10% final damage increase skill.

    But from my point of view, 20% of my damage has suddenly dropped.

    No, if you think about it, it’s going to be even worse. Soma’s final skill, [Annihilation Strike], receives several buffs and overlaps with [Revenge]’s 30% final damage increase, resulting in unbelievable damage, but this 20% nerf means that the actual damage is much lower.

    Thinking about it like this makes me angry.

    I really liked Soma and was happy with it.

    Maintaining the [Continuous Strike] buff while parrying and shoving in damage was quite a treat…

    Hmm…

    Should I switch to a class that got buffed in this patch?

    First of all, I’ve seen almost all of the patch notes, so I logged into Leore.

    Did Miae get home safe and log into Leore?

    I immediately searched for [Arang’s Foot Licker] using the player search.

    Ting!

    Could not find user [Arang’s Foot Licker].

    “Huh…?”

    What’s going on?

    Usually, if you’re not logged in and in a logged-out state, it doesn’t say that the user can’t be found, but rather that they are logged out.

    In other words, the current message means that there is no user with the nickname [Arang’s Foot Licker].

    What, what? Don’t tell me she deleted her character because she didn’t like meeting me in person…?

    While I was thinking that,

    [Arang’s Foot Licker] noticed that I had logged in and was running towards me.

    [Munchkin Cat]

    LV : 60

    Arang’s Belly Blanket

    Huh…? Did she like my belly that I touched today that much…?

    ==

    On the way home after having fun with Arang.

    Kwon Miae clenched and unclenched her right hand, recalling Arang’s belly that she had touched before parting ways with Arang.

    It’s not like she suddenly touched Arang’s belly.

    After playing board games for a long time and getting tired of playing chess, she moved Arang to the bed and talked to Arang, and Arang brought it up first.

    She asked if I was disappointed that I couldn’t touch her feet. And if I was sad that I couldn’t touch her hands either.

    Honestly, who could say yes to that! I wanted to touch them!

    Without knowing Arang’s condition, Arang said things that could hurt Arang without a care, and even though her nickname could be hurtful to Arang, Arang played with her sincerely and liked her.

    Arang was not much different from Leore in reality.

    Of course, her appearance in reality was desperate to anyone who looked at her, but Arang’s personality, not her appearance, was the same as in Leore.

    Thanks to that, I didn’t pay attention to Arang’s appearance and had a really fun time talking and playing together as if we were in Leore.

    So, I got used to Arang’s real appearance, and Arang’s appearance lying on the bed without her prosthetic hands and feet was pretty, cute, and heartbreaking.

    Arang said that she hadn’t been able to grant my request yet, and since she couldn’t let me touch her hands or feet, she said it was okay to touch her belly.

    I was about to refuse right away, but the thought of wanting to touch it burst out in an instant, and I couldn’t refuse right away.

    Because of that, Arang twisted her body and went down, and because of that, her top naturally slid up, revealing Arang’s belly in front of my eyes.

    The moment I saw that.

    I couldn’t resist.

    I can still feel the touch of Arang’s belly.

    Until now, I thought I liked feet.

    But it wasn’t.

    I logged into Leore as soon as I got home.

    I had pre-booked the update, so I didn’t have to wait.

    Originally, when there’s a large-scale season update, I would have immediately looked at the update status posted in the announcement, but that wasn’t a problem now.

    I immediately went to the store and bought a nickname change ticket.

    It costs 20,000 won to change a nickname once, but that wasn’t important now.

    Would you like to change [Arang’s Foot Licker] to [Arang’s Belly Blanket]?

    [Accept] [Reject]

    I immediately pressed the accept button without a second thought.
