Mesugaki Tank Enters the Academy –
    75

When I mentioned that we had
to stop our raid, Frey showed a bit of disappointment, while Bisi,
despite her words, couldn’t hide the smile from her lips.

    Well, from her perspective,
raiding the dungeon with me must have been like playing a game where
    you had to endure nausea.

    Next time, I’ll bring
    someone more reliable.

    Outside the dungeon was
    chaotic.

    Professors were controlling
    the entrance.

    Students were gathering
    around, murmuring.

    Judging by the curious
onlookers, it seemed Arthur’s disappearance hadn’t been made public
    yet.

Well, even if Arthur is far
from succession rights, he’s still a prince. If people found out
something had happened to him, things would get out of hand.

    Soul Academy must have already
faced many complaints due to the accident during the last entrance
    exam.

    If something happens to Arthur
now, the academy will be heavily shaken.

    That’s why the professors
    look so desperate.

In the midst of the chaos, I
stood in front of the dungeon with Karl.

    “Karl…”

    “Sloppy, do you remember how
    to read the coordinates?”

    “Of course.”

    As rumours of some incident
spread, more and more students were gathering, causing further
    disorder among the professors.

    As a result, they didn’t
    notice us re-entering the dungeon.

Thanks to this, we managed to
enter the dungeon without any interference.

    “Karl…”

    “Sloppy, we’re running at
full speed. Don’t fall behind like trash.”

    “Don’t worry about me.”

    Previously, I had adjusted our
pace to accommodate Frey and Bisi. But now, there’s no need for that.

Karl is still a more powerful
monster than I am. We sprinted forward with full strength.

    Soon, goblins appeared to
block our path, but I didn’t stop.

    Karl’s sword beheaded them
faster than they could even recognize us.

We didn’t stop even when traps
    appeared.

We weren’t so weak that such
    traps could hurt us.

    Shortest distance.

    Fastest speed.

    We ran and ran until—

    “Karl. And Lady Allen?”

    “Why is a student here?”

    “Karl! Even if she’s your
    lady, bringing a student here…”

It took us only 10 minutes to
reach the place on the 6th floor where Arthur had disappeared.

    The professors, who were
discussing something there, were astonished when they saw us.

As I steadied my breath and
tried to approach the spot where the magic tool had been used, one of
    the professors blocked my way.

    “Lady Allen.”

    Combat Studies Professor
    Anton.

    Despite his stern appearance,
he was relatively easy to talk to.

    “What brings you here?”

    ‘Professor, I have a
    solution.’

“I came to give a gift to
you, a useless professor who doesn’t even know why there’s a
    problem.”

    “Are you saying that Lady
    Allen, you, have a solution?”

    The professor heard my sharp
words but didn’t get angry and instead asked me further.

    ‘Of course.’

    “Obviously. Do you think
    I’m as incompetent as you?”

If I hadn’t been confident in
solving this problem, I wouldn’t have come here in the first place.
I’m not a fool who doesn’t know their place.

    As I shouted confidently,
Anton looked at me sceptically. The professors had been doing their
best to solve the issue. It would be hard for them to believe that I,
just a student, had a solution.

So, to prove my point, I took
out a scroll from my pocket and showed it to Anton.

    “What’s that?”

    ‘Magic…’

    “It’s a Magic
    Reproduction Scroll.”

    A magic tool that can
reactivate the magic that was used in a particular place. Originally,
it was something I’d prepared by spending a lot of money to defeat
the boss on the 80th floor of the Academy Dungeon.

    The function of the compass
Arthur had used was ultimately a space-moving spell that transported
people to specific coordinates. If the same spell is reactivated with
the Magic Reproduction Scroll, it should take us to the same place.

    When I explained this, Anton
    reached out his hand.

    “Thank you. If you give
    that to me.”

    ‘I’m going too.’

    “What are you talking
    about? I’m going too.”

    The dungeon we’re about to
enter is one that the professors will be tackling for the first time.
No matter how skilled they are, they’re bound to get lost. Naturally,
this would cause delays in searching for Arthur’s group.

    But it’s different for me.
Someone who knows every dungeon in Soul Academy’s world doesn’t get
    lost.

    “Lady Allen, beyond this,
it’s a place where we don’t know what dangers await. From a
professor’s standpoint, taking a student like you along is…”

    ‘For me…’

    “Useless professor. I
have the Blessing that allows me to know the geography of the
    dungeon.”

    Interrupting Anton, I made my
case, and he looked at me in surprise.

    If an ordinary person said
this, it would sound like nonsense.

But I was the one who aced the
entrance exam and survived the accident in that same dungeon.
Moreover, I was the person who had been clearing the Academy Dungeon
at record speed just moments ago.

In reality, I have no skills
related to dungeons, but to others, it’s a different story.

    ‘I will be helpful.’

    “I’ll be much more helpful
    than someone clueless like you.”

As I squared my shoulders and
boasted, Anton’s gaze shifted to Karl.

    Karl instantly understood the
meaning of Anton’s look and nodded.

    “The Miss is indeed
blessed. I swear on the honour of a knight, this is true.”

    After listening to Karl, Anton
    sighed and spoke eventually.

    “Alright. But don’t
engage in combat; just guide us.”

Since I never planned to be on
the front lines to begin with, I agreed.

Would I be crazy enough to
fight in the Temple of the Old God Kolhiti right now?

If this were a game, I could
show off my skills, but this isn’t a game.

What I’d be risking in a fight
    is my actual life.

I had no desire to risk myself
    like that.

    Once I agreed, Anton stepped
aside, and I unrolled the scroll at the spot where Arthur had
    disappeared.

A magic circle formed on the
    ground, glowing brightly.

As the light faded, a new
landscape appeared before my eyes. A stone floor, half-ruined and
    revealing the dirt beneath.

    Walls that once bore ornate
carvings now cracked, with vines taking their place.

    This was the temple dedicated
to Kolhiti, one of the forgotten gods.

    It’s been a while.

Back in the day, this was one
of the dungeons I frequently visited for grinding.

Hmm. Looks like we’re in the
middle of the third floor of the dungeon.

    It’s different from the game.

    “Lady Allen, is your
    Blessing active?”

I paused for a moment before
    answering Anton’s question.

    If it were about navigating
the dungeon, I could talk at length, but that’s not our goal right
    now.

    Our primary objective is to
    find Arthur and his group.

    It doesn’t matter if we
don’t clear the dungeon as long as we rescue them.

    Think about it.

Arthur and his group must have
    panicked after being dropped here.

    No matter how talented they
might be, they’re still just freshmen at the Academy.

In such a situation, who would
    they turn to for help?

    It’s obvious.

    A professor from the Academy.

A protector who can keep them
    safe. Luca.

    That deranged troublemaker.

    Arthur’s group, unaware of
what kind of person Luca is, must have asked him what they should do.

    Then Luca would have answered
    something like this:

    “We don’t know when
help will come. We need to continue raiding the dungeon. Don’t worry.
I’m confident, so we can easily clear any dungeon.”

    Of course, if Luca got
involved, any dungeon would indeed be easy to clear.

    No matter his twisted
    personality, his skills are real.

But that guy has no intention
    of clearing the dungeon.

His goal is only to masquerade
as if by chance, to bring trials to Arthur’s group.

    Knowing Luca’s tendencies,
he must have scouted this dungeon in advance.

    He would have also checked
suitable locations for a trial. Surely, he would try to take Arthur
    and his group there.

My task is to predict that
    trial location.

    “Lady Allen?”

    ‘Just a moment, Professor.’

    “Useless Professor. Are
you still a clueless dog even after waiting? Keep your mouth shut.”

There has to be a reason to
have marked this location with coordinates.

    Where around here would be
suitable to give a trial? Three Minotaurs attacking simultaneously?

    No, that would be impossible
    to overcome.

    Luca wouldn’t give them a
    trial that couldn’t be surpassed.

    It has to be somewhere
    appropriate.

A place where a skilled user
could barely get through with frantic control.

There are a few places that
    come to mind.

Damn it. In the game, Luca
never intervenes at this point, so I can’t be sure.

    At times like this, it’s
best to search the nearest places first.

I raise my head and look at
    the current party composition.

    Since every professor here is
related to dungeons or combat, there are too many front-line
    fighters.

    But it doesn’t matter.

    These people’s specs are
overwhelmingly powerful enough to crush this dungeon.

    ‘Follow me!’

    “Come along! Surely you
wouldn’t let freshmen escape, would you, you sloppies?”

    “Useless Professor! There’s
a brain-muscled cow up ahead! Smash it!”

    Following Lucy’s command,
Anton swung his axe down, splitting the Minotaur’s head.

    The tough Minotaur struggled
to survive, but it was meaningless against Anton’s overwhelming
    strength.

    “Weak magic professor! Cast
flames, and you sloppy one, intercept the crazy bulls charging from
    the rear!”

    Without even looking at him,
Lucy continued to raise her voice and command the team.

    At first, the professors were
sceptical about following the orders of a freshman from the academy,
    but now it was different.

    Lucy Allen’s commands were
spot on, as if she had seen the future.

    The professors present here at
the academy were all renowned figures in their respective fields.

    They knew better than anyone
what constituted a sound directive versus a poor one.

    Judging by their assessments,
Lucy Allen’s leadership had not faltered even once.

If it had been a single
instance, it could be written off as a coincidence, but the fact that
it repeated countless times meant it was skill.

    The professors began to put
aside their fragile egos and listened to the words coming from the
    young girl.

    They believed that the
instructions given by Lucy Allen were the best possible actions in
    the current moment.

    Indeed, there was a valid
reason for her incredible speed in conquering the academy’s dungeon.

    Even in this urgent situation,
Anton couldn’t help but admire Lucy.

    She’s a monster. A monster
    beyond imagination.

It was a good decision to
    bring Lucy Allen along.

    Without her, they would
definitely have encountered difficulties moving forward.

And it would have taken much
longer to locate the missing students.

    “Useless professor! Are
you deaf because you’re old?! Don’t just stand there like an idiot,
    move!”

    “Understood!”

‘If only it weren’t for that
harsh language, there wouldn’t be a single complaint.

Is this too extravagant of a
    grievance to voice?’

    Anton clenched his teeth and
    rushed forward, thinking to himself,

    “Luca, please take good
care of the academy students. I’ll be there soon.”
