600 – Robot Vacuum Cleaner

“Spinny-Spinny, Spinny-Spinny!”

Gaeul shouted loudly to announce that she was spinning.

As the speed of the spin increased, the speed at which she said “Spinny-Spinny” began to quicken.

“Spinny-Spinny, Spinny-Spinny!”

“Meowww!”

Gaeul and I spun along with the whirlwind for a while, but eventually, we fell through the portal below.

As we fell to an unknown place, I thought to myself that at least we had escaped the whirlwind.

And it took less than a second to realize that was my delusion.

Splash-!

Having passed through the portal, we fell back into the pond.

It was because the exit portal had opened above the pond.

“Oh no!”

The portal that opened below the pond sucked in water, while the portal above poured it out.

Inside the endlessly circulating pond water were Gaeul, me, and some fish.

“Meow!”

“Swish!”

Gaeul and I began to spin around again.

Gaeul was holding a mackerel in her arms, which I wondered when she had picked up.

“Gaeul, we need to close the portal…!”

“Swish!”

Gaeul’s eyes were spinning as we faced each other.

It seemed like a situation where normal conversation was impossible.

“Meow…”

“Swish…”

And so we spun endlessly in the whirlwind.

Just as we were about to experience the fourth whirlwind via the portal, our bodies floated up.

It was Levinas’s soap bubble that caught us.

“Ugh, ugh…”

The soap bubble released us outside the pond.

Gaeul and I, having come back to the ground, couldn’t stand properly and stumbled around.

“Wanga, Gaeul, are you okay?!”

“Ugh, uh-huh…”

“Ugh.”

We needed a moment to collect ourselves.

It was the moment we plopped down on the ground together with Gaeul.

“This looks fun! I want to try it too!”

“Me too.”

Thinking we were fine, Bomi and Saebyeok dashed towards the pond.

They spun around in the pond whirlwind but didn’t seem to get dizzy like Gaeul and me.

Even if Saebyeok was strong, it was surprising that Bomi was like that too.

Is it because they are descendants of the dragon tribe?

I sat back and watched Bomi and Saebyeok enjoying the whirlwind.

The two of them spun continuously for several rounds without resting, but soon the whirlwind disappeared.

It was Gaeul who cleared the portal.

Bomi giggled as she came out of the pond.

Saebyeok was also wagging her wet tail.

It was just diligently cleaning the living room.

Noticing something strange, Gaeul began to follow the vacuum around.

“Lie down! Lie down!”

She commanded the vacuum to lie down or reached out her hands.

But unfortunately, the robot vacuum couldn’t understand such commands.

Did Gaeul think the vacuum was ignoring her?

Her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance.

“Lie down!”

Gaeul pressed down on the robot vacuum with both hands.

It seemed she was trying to show it how to lie down.

But the vacuum was not a living thing, and it had enough strength to push Gaeul.

As Gaeul held onto the vacuum, she was dragged along.

“Eh?!”

Being pulled by the vacuum, Gaeul clumsily climbed onto it.

Once she was on the vacuum, Gaeul relaxed and began to giggle.

“Swish! Gaeul!”

“Wow, Gaeul is riding the vacuum?”

I gave her a thumbs up, impressed.

Levinas, who had wished for the riding mode, watched with wide-eyed excitement.

“Wow! Gaeul is riding a robot!”

“Ugh!”

The robot vacuum was trying to move to another room with Gaeul proudly sitting on it.

Seeing us, Gaeul waved her hand.

“Gaeul is leaving?”

Gaeul laughed as she waved at us.

Then the robot vacuum spun around and came back towards us.

It seemed it wasn’t planning to leave just yet.

“Gaeul! Levinas too! Levinas wants to ride the robot too!”

“Ugh…”

Without hesitation, Gaeul offered her spot.

Thanks to that, Levinas was able to hop onto the vacuum.

“Wow!”

Levinas bounced up and down on the vacuum.

It was clear how sturdy the vacuum was.

“Next, Wanga should try!”

“Can I ride too?”

“Yes! It’s really fun up there!”

“Okay, got it.”

I accepted Levinas’s offer and climbed onto the vacuum.

As I pondered how to position myself, I decided to lie down on the vacuum.

“Oh… this is really comfortable.”

As I curled up on the vacuum, I began to feel sleepy.

It felt like the perfect bed for my body.

I had played hard today, after all.

But I really shouldn’t fall asleep…

Just as Gyeoul was lying down on the vacuum and trying to sleep, the Animal King animation that had been waiting started airing on the living room television.

Even as the kids shifted their gaze to the television, the robot vacuum continued to clean diligently.

With Gyeoul sleeping on top of it.

The robot vacuum, which hadn’t yet fully grasped the layout of the house, wandered around aimlessly.

Shin Haeil had added special functions to the vacuum to clean the large house, including the ability to open doors and go up and down stairs.

Though it was an excessive function for a vacuum, it was an easy task for the excellent item creator, Shin Haeil.

It was also a necessary function to clean a house with many rooms and multiple floors.

As the vacuum endlessly roamed the house, it moved towards the entrance.

The vacuum opened the front door and began cleaning the hallway.

Since it was the first time using the vacuum, it hadn’t properly set up restricted areas.

The robot vacuum, carrying the sleeping Gyeoul on top, went down the emergency exit stairs.

It was heading to its original setting at the blacksmith.

After a lot of effort, the vacuum finally reached the first floor.

“Hmm…”

People bustling around the first-floor lobby could see Gyeoul, curled up like a cat and sound asleep on the robot vacuum.

“Is Gyeoul sleeping on the vacuum?”

“Look at that.”

She was so deep in sleep that she wouldn’t notice if someone carried her away.

It was such a peaceful and fairy-tale-like sight.

The guild members watched Gyeoul with a feeling of having struck gold.
