I looked outside and saw that the sun was already high in the sky, indicating that I must have fallen asleep without realizing it. It seemed that I had fallen asleep while still wearing my clothes, probably after pretending to be asleep for the uncle.

The uncle must have already gone to work, as there was no sign of him anywhere in the house.

In an attempt to shake off these feelings, I sat down at the desk and tried to read a book, but I couldn’t focus at all, which only made things worse.

Feeling a strong desire for the uncle’s presence, I gave up on studying and went into his room, jumping onto his bed.

With each breath, a sweet sigh escaped my lips, and saliva dribbled out, staining the bed.

But the emptiness only deepened, and I began to tremble so intensely that sweat started to form on my body.

“Uncle… Uncle…”

Clutching his pillow tightly with my arms and legs, I desperately searched for him.

My face… no, my whole body was burning up. My vision was even hazier than when I drank strong liquor, and the feeling intensified, as if there was a heart beating in my lower abdomen.
