As I opened my eyes, feeling a headache, I saw a strange ceiling.

It wasn’t the familiar ceiling with the patterns I had seen at home, but a spotless white ceiling without a speck of dust.

“Did I lose consciousness? What happened…”

Staring blankly at the ceiling, I tried to piece together my memories before losing consciousness. From witnessing my girlfriend cheating on me to fiercely fighting with two guys for two years, and then facing a truck in the middle of the road…

    “A truck… a truck… right, I was hit by a truck?”

After knocking down the man, scratching my ex-girlfriend’s cheek, and leaving the city, I felt a slight sense of relief before suddenly witnessing a truck rushing towards a woman.

For some reason, before my mind could make a decision, my body moved first and I pushed the woman with all my strength to save her, but I ended up colliding head-on with the rampaging truck.

    “So this is a hospital…”

After that, the film seemed to cut off, and I couldn’t remember anything, but judging by the circumstances, I seemed to have been brought to the hospital.

But it’s a bit strange. I was hit by a truck at a tremendous speed, yet I only feel a headache, with no sense of burden on my body…

    “Are you awake?”

As I reached out my arm towards the ceiling, moving my fingers one by one, a voice of a stranger man was heard beside me.

Turning my head, I saw a man sitting at a table, looking at me with concern. He appeared to be in his mid-twenties, with a face that seemed a bit worn out, but it was clear from his white t-shirt and black sweatpants that he was not a doctor.

    “Wasn’t this a hospital? Ugh…”

As I tried to sit up and look around, the headache returned. I’ve experienced bone-chilling pain before, but this piercing pain from the center of my brain to the outside was something I’ve never felt before.

“If you’re okay, go wash up and come out. There are things to discuss.”

Letting out a sigh of relief, the man left, and as I got up from the sofa where I was lying down, scratching my head, I glanced in the direction where the man had disappeared.

“To go through such an ordeal and be okay… huh?”

The voice that came out of my mouth as I sighed was not my usual tone, but a high-pitched voice typical of a woman.

Moreover, I felt a weight on my chest since I stood up. Not very heavy, but a slightly worrying weight…

    “What, what is this?”

As I looked down towards where I felt the weight, I saw something that should not exist for a man.

    “A chest?”

Not the chest of an overweight man, but the chest that all women have regardless of size. A chest the size of a handful that I saw with my own eyes.

The soft touch when I touched it… it was not fake, but a real chest.

“Is this a joke? Mirror! Where’s the mirror!”

Frantically looking around, I found a full-length mirror installed on the wall.

Without hesitation, I ran towards it and peered inside.

    “What… what…?”

However, the reflection of myself in the mirror was different from before. The calloused hands from continuous work at the logistics warehouse were clean without any small wounds, and the muscles trained from boxing were all gone.

In the mirror, only the image of a woman with short brown hair in disarray, her eyes wide open, was reflected.

    “Goodness… Haha, hahaha-!”

I couldn’t help but be stunned by the realization of my own transformation, and I just sat there in shock.

Laughing endlessly like a mad person, as the moment passed, my vision began to blur, and I felt someone else’s memories flowing into my mind.

The woman in the mirror, sending me a gaze.

    The memories of Joo Eun-hye.
