Throughout dinner, Siwoo was erect, staring at Sejin’s breasts, who was sitting across from him.

Sejin did not seem to be particularly aware of Siwoo’s gaze or aroused state, and mixed in light and pleasant jokes, enjoying an early dinner with her younger brother whom she had not seen in a while.

While having dinner with Sejin, not a single word was said about the marriage contract or the slave contract.

They simply exchanged news and small talk about their daily lives, naturally, like friends who had met after a long time.

She seemed to be completely taking a break from her part-time work at the talk bar, after taking a leave of absence from school.

The monthly rent for the officetel had been paid for a year in advance before her father passed away, and he seemed to have left Sejin with enough living expenses for that period of time.

The part-time job was originally something she started lightly to help an older sister she knew, and to earn some pocket money, so she did not seem to be under any significant financial burden.

    “But did Dad know?”

Siwoo asks cautiously, as if carefully considering it, while listening to Sejin’s story.

    “Know what?”

Sejin asked Siwoo back, as if wondering what he meant.

    “That…”

Siwoo points to her swollen belly with his finger.

“Ah~ that I’m pregnant? Yeah. He knew… Dad was the first person I told that I was pregnant.”

Sejin answers Siwoo’s question naturally, as if stating the obvious.

    “What did Dad say?”

Siwoo asked, as if curious about his father’s reaction when he found out about Sejin’s pregnancy at the time.

“He doesn’t express it much on the outside… but it felt like he was secretly happy?”

Sejin blushed shyly as if recalling the memory, and spoke slowly.

The fact that the child Sejin was carrying in her belly was her father’s child had now become an obvious fact that no longer needed to be avoided between the two.

    “I see… Dad too…”

Siwoo trailed off, answering calmly as if slowly recalling the circumstances surrounding Sejin’s relationship with his father and her pregnancy.

There was no regret or embarrassment to be found on Sejin’s face.

Her pregnancy did not seem to be an unwanted result, at least for the two of them.

For a moment, a light silence permeated between the two.

Only the faint sound from the TV quietly filled the space.

“Want me to tell you something fun? Actually, before I moved in here, Dad was using this place?”

At the end of the brief silence, Sejin suddenly reveals a fact to Siwoo that seems out of the blue.

    “What?”

Siwoo asked back with a puzzled expression, as if he didn’t understand what Sejin was suddenly talking about.

“This place… is where Dad used to meet those people…”

Sejin suddenly lowered her voice, put her hand to her mouth, and said in a whisper.

Even though she and Siwoo were the only ones in the officetel studio, Sejin blinked her eyes as if carefully sharing a secret, as if she was worried that someone might hear, which made her feel very cute.

From the words ‘those people’, Siwoo seemed to vaguely understand what Sejin was trying to say.

    “H-here?”

Siwoo looked around again and reacted as if he was deliberately a little embarrassed.

If what Sejin said was true, Dad probably often met with members of the group or slaves here, either individually or in groups.

Well, even if they were to rent for a long term, if both have families, they wouldn’t be able to live together.

It seems that renting an officetel in this way is the most secretive and safest way to meet.

Siwoo, looking around at his surroundings with slightly embarrassed eyes and being surprised,

“Want me to tell you another fun fact?”

As if determined to surprise Siwoo once again, Sejin slowly opened her mouth with a smile on her face.

Her voice was low and soft, echoing in the studio space, as if she was ready to share another secret.

“Another fun fact? What is it?”

Siwoo was asking Sejin, still swallowing the embarrassment that had not yet subsided.

“Actually… this is my second time…”

Sejin said in a slightly excited voice, stroking her belly, as if revealing a shy past.

    “What?!”

Siwoo looked at her again with a puzzled expression, as if his mind couldn’t keep up with Sejin’s words and asked back.

“I mean, being pregnant with Dad’s baby… this is my second time… I was pregnant once before…”

This time, Sejin explained it slowly and clearly, organizing her words so that Siwoo could understand easily.

    “W-when?”

Siwoo asks as if he is genuinely embarrassed by Sejin’s confession.

“A few years ago… was it around when you were 100 years old? It was when I was a beginner at the academy…”

Sejin is taking out her past stories as if showing an old diary, as if it is nothing.

    “…If I was 100 years old, that’s 50 years ago?”

Siwoo muttered to himself as if he couldn’t believe it.

    “Yeah… probably around then…”

Sejin accepts Siwoo’s muttering and answers with a slightly bitter smile.

    “D-did you… give birth?”

Siwoo managed to make a sound and asked again cautiously.

    Sejin gently shakes her head.

Siwoo breathes a sigh of relief, but at the same time, he strongly feels a sense of inexplicable disappointment…

“I wanted to give birth, but the opposition was severe… especially Mom…”

Sejin says with a dreamy expression as if recalling old memories.

“Mom? Even when you were pregnant during your beginner academy days, Mom knew about it?”

Siwoo raises his eyebrows and asks as if curious when the story about Mom comes out.

“Of course she knew… Mom was the one who made me and Dad that way…”

Sejin spits out a shocking story as if it were nothing.

“Mom was watching next to me even on the day I got pregnant? But she was strongly against giving birth in the end…”

Her voice was calm, but the weight hidden in those words weighed heavily on Siwoo’s heart.

Siwoo couldn’t react properly to her surprising story.

He was just feeling the deep emotions contained in her eyes and voice.

“Looking back now, I guess Dad had a hard time actively persuading Mom because of my age back then.”

“Maybe it would have been easily resolved if Dad had just ordered Mom to accept it…”

“I think Dad was also worried about me having a baby and raising it at a young age.”

Sejin spoke in a calm voice, expressing the complicated feelings she had experienced and recalling the situation at the time.

“I cried and made a fuss for days at Mom’s persuasion to forcibly get an abortion!”

“I didn’t eat properly, didn’t go to school, and just threw a tantrum at home.”

Sejin stopped talking and closed her eyes as if recalling herself at that time.

Siwoo can’t easily imagine Sejin throwing a tantrum.

A side she doesn’t usually show to her younger siblings…

Siwoo’s memories only have the image of Sejin as always being bright and mature…

“But one day, Mom couldn’t stand my stubbornness and started talking to me?”

“She said she wouldn’t tell me to get an abortion anymore, so at least eat properly…”

“I thought at the time that Mom was allowing me to have Dad’s baby…”

Sejin, who had been continuing to speak calmly, let out a deep sigh.

“I was too naive… At that time, Mom secretly mixed a drug that caused a miscarriage in the food I was going to eat…”

“In the end, after suffering for a few days, I found out that I had a miscarriage… and that Mom had put the drug in…”

As the memories of that time came back to life, complex emotions seemed to be subtly mixed on Sejin’s face.

    “She’s my mom… I was also a mom… I cried and made a fuss saying I was going to give birth…”

Sejin quietly recites as if recalling past wounds and sorrows.

“When I was told that I had a miscarriage, I didn’t feel anything? Like my senses were paralyzed…?”

Sejin made a face as if looking back at herself at that moment.

The emotion contained in her words was surprisingly calm, and Siwoo seemed to faintly recall the numb sadness of that time.

“I started living as usual again without blaming Mom… Feeling relieved, as if nothing had happened… I went to the academy… met my friends…”

Sejin spoke as if all that pain and confusion had disappeared so naturally.

Siwoo strangely felt an even greater emptiness at such an attitude.

    “Are you okay…?”

Siwoo asks cautiously as if worried about Sejin’s condition.

“Instead~ from that day on, I was able to openly seduce Dad at home~!”

She smiled lightly as if the image of that time came to mind.

“I used to walk around in my underwear even when Mom and you guys were there, you know?…”

“After taking a shower, I would of course walk around with my bare chest all exposed~ Do you remember?”

“But Mom couldn’t say anything to me? I think she still can’t? Isn’t it funny~?”

Instead of answering Siwoo’s question of whether she was okay, Sejin changed the atmosphere and listed the cute revenge she had taken on her mother at the time like a heroic story.
