Chapter 230: Lulu-chan is here to conquer League too!

    R̃ëãd̈ ̈òń ̂K̃át̂Ŕéãd̃ĩn̈ĝC̀âf̃é

    Anyway, the game began.

The first champion I picked was Orianna.

She was the champion I played the most—and loved the most—in my previous world.

    The opponent’s champion was LeBlanc.

A mage with strong mobility and burst damage. She’s also a champion who excels at escaping ganks and synergizing with her jungler, making coordination important.

But since this was a solo queue game and not a team match, I figured I could handle the laning phase as long as I managed ganks properly.

    Tap— Tap—

Early on, I last-hit minions carefully, not pushing too aggressively. Just enough to match the opponent’s tempo.

If I pushed too hard, the wave would crash too soon, leaving me with less room to maneuver and fewer opportunities to harass.

    “Be careful.”

By the time I hit Level 2, the third minion wave appeared on the minimap. Seizing the moment, I popped a Corrupting Potion and traded damage.

A mechanical voice echoed from Orianna as the opponent’s health dropped.

    • Nice trade.
    • Good damage.
    • But now you gotta watch for the Level 3 all-in, right?

As one of the cherries pointed out, since the opponent took Ignite instead of Teleport, the kill pressure was technically on their side—but it didn’t matter.

I planned to shove this wave under their tower and recall. The trade was just a setup for that.

Since attacking the enemy champion draws minion aggro, the wave naturally pushed in my favor.

And compared to Orianna, LeBlanc has weaker early waveclear and longer cooldowns. Meaning, while I freely shoved the third wave, she had no way to retaliate.

I took full advantage, last-hitting relentlessly until the cannon minion tanked tower shots, forcing LeBlanc to waste time clearing.

Meanwhile, I warded the enemy jungle and recalled.

    • Already recalling?
    • You still have potions, why not lane more?
    • Probably scared of a gank?
    • Good reset timing though.

Some cherries questioned it, but I knew better.

Because at this point, the laning phase was already over.

    Ziiing—

I was slightly short on gold, but I still managed to buy Doran’s Ring and a Sapphire Crystal.

With my goal achieved, I Teleported back to a minion.

Now, the opponent was stuck—low on mana, low on health (after my earlier harass), and forced to compete with their tower for CS.

Meanwhile, I had fresh items and full resources. Even with Ignite, there was no way LeBlanc could find a kill angle here.

    “Wow.”

Just as I smirked at the smooth laning phase, a soft exclamation came from Empire.

“Lulu, what rank is your main account?”

“Eh? M-My main? This is my main…?”

The sudden question caught me off guard.

Technically, in this world, this was my main account. Feeling slightly guilty but standing firm, I sensed Empire tilting their head in confusion.

“Hmm, that can’t be. Your macro is at least Diamond… no, Master-tier. Hell, even some Master/Grandmaster mid laners don’t understand these concepts unless they’re aspiring pros.”

    • KYAAAAAAAAAA—
    • Idk what’s happening but LULU HYPE!!
    • BRO EXPLAIN PLS I DON’T GET IT
    • Empire: Lulu is Grandmaster-tier minimum.

    N-No! They didn’t say that!

Don’t twist their words! I didn’t even do anything special!

“Let me explain for the viewers. Lulu slow-pushed early, right? Can you tell us why?”

“Ah, that’s… if I shoved too fast, LeBlanc would farm safely, and I’d have less time to act.”

“Exactly. So you hard shoved the third wave with the cannon minion, then recalled with Teleport. Now look—LeBlanc can’t do anything. Either call the jungler or take a bad recall. That’s it.”

As Empire said, LeBlanc gave up and backed off under tower to recall.

I freely shoved the wave, and the CS gap widened to 15.

Worse for her, she missed minion EXP, so I’d hit Level 6 first and unlock my ultimate earlier, snowballing the lane further.

“And you warded the jungle, so their jungler has no gank path. In pro play, this lane would already be over. Mid can’t play. They’d have to pray for a jungle/support roam.”

    • WTF
    • Her macro is insane..
    • SHE PLANNED ALL THIS??
    • Lulu-chan is taking over League next…?

What “League god”? It’s just basic mid-lane theory! Empire’s just hyping me up!

    “An enemy has been slain.”

“Wow, she hits 6 first, invades the jungle, and kills the jungler too? The game’s over at this point.”

    • LULUUUUUU—
    • THE LULU HIGH IS REAL
    • HER CS IS CRACKED
    • Is this Lulu’s serious mode??
    • An ecosystem destroyer—

After the first kill and Empire’s praise, the cherries erupted, chanting my name.

Drowning in the flood of compliments, I could only…

    “Uuu…”

…hide my embarrassment and keep clicking my mouse and keyboard.

    Sniff.

No doubt the café or community is already flooded with posts about LoL or whatever.

I won’t be going into the forums for a while.

    • Lulu << Just a straight-up prodigy, lol. Instant upvote.
    • First Overwatch, now she’s taking over LoL too? This gaming goddess is insane.
    • Her mentor only gives praise, no feedback, lol.
    • Even Empire can’t help but acknowledge it… Lulu’s just a gaming deity.

I’m still just an Diamond mid who hasn’t hit Grandmaster, but since LoL’s the only game I’m decent at, I was grinning like an idiot when I heard Lulu was playing today.
I almost applied to be her mentor, but when Empire showed up, I noped out and just watched.

But seriously, Lulu—why is she this good?
Most players at her tier who are decent usually rely on mechanics, but she’s got macro down to a science. Every play has a reason behind it.
Honestly, even as an Diamond player, I can’t think that meticulously. I’m more of a “smash my head in and win or die” type…

Watching her today, I actually learned a thing or two.
Granted, it’s just solo queue, but seeing her stomp that Diamond LeBlanc without letting her breathe? Yeah, she’s a prodigy.

    • If even an Diamond player’s saying this, she must be legit.
      • Yeah, she’s really good. Most midlaners at her tier snowball off kills alone, but she knows how to snowball. She grinds lane step by step.
        • Absolute prodigy, holy shit.
    • Empire was praising her like crazy too, lol.
      • A three-time LoL World Champion’s compliments, and some clowns still go “Eh, is she really that good?” Like, I wanna slap them so bad.
        • The armchair Challengers were seething, lol.
          • No one could even flame her tier when challenged…
    • Between Overwatch and LoL, she’s definitely a prodigy. I used to suspect it was a smurf, but it’s all under her own name.
      • True. The trolls kept demanding proof, so she showed it on stream.
        • Wait, isn’t that doxxing?
          • Obviously, she blurred her personal info, lol.

Title: Real-time update from the Mountain Theif.gif
    Author: GhostOfTheGallery

Caught Lulu’s stream, and now he’s whining about why his team doesn’t have a mid like her, lol.

    • LMAO, you’re Diamond, you freak!
      • Mountain Thief: “Lulu could hold her own in Diamond ranked right now.”
        • Deadass, lololol.
    • Is Mountain Thief competing too?
      • Yeah, he said he would. Last year, he was stuck in Iron, so he couldn’t qualify.
        • Honestly, that’s for the best.
          • So that’s why he never hit Master… I had no idea…
    • But isn’t Mountain Thief an actual narcissist? If they team up, Lulu’s gonna suffer.
      • He claims he’d “restrain his beastly instincts” if paired with her, lol.
        • “Beastly”? More like just a beast, period.
          • Truly, the founder of the Beast Breathing technique…
            • ??? “Bro’s just an animal.”

Title: NGL, I was worried when Lulu said she’d join the tournament
    Author: LuluIsOurBaby

Tournaments are great for exposure and growth, but with LoL, you get so many backseat gamers and drama during practice.
Plus, she’s teaming with streamers outside Blue LUV, so I was extra nervous.

But after watching her play today, I’m relieved.
Team games might be different, but it’s nice seeing Lulu grow as a streamer.
Hope she builds connections and gains more recognition from this.

    • It’s a double-edged sword… but if she sticks the landing, it’ll pay off.
      • Fr, she doesn’t even need to win. Just show good teamwork and narrative.
        • If she teams with Mountain Thief, the chemistry’ll be legendary, lol.
    • Rooting for Lulu’s independence!
      • Whoa, let’s not get ahead of ourselves—
        • Wait, are you saying she’s leaving Blue LUV for Prism Company?
          • I didn’t say that, you freaks!

Title: How dare you clowns forget this legend in your essays?

Dude won Worlds three times, could’ve taken a break, but instead:

    • Showed up on Lulu’s stream for maximum fun.
    • Patiently explained macro to clueless cherries.
    • Showered her with praise until she got flustered.
    • Even left an open invitation for future questions before dipping.

    The one and only… Empire.

    • Damn it, it’s Empire again. I was about to sleep, but now I must worship… I know it’ll keep me awake, but I must worship. Such is the duty of those who witness Empire. Let the worship begin.
      • A m b u s h W o r s h i p.
    • Rumor has it he might coach Lulu’s team if he has time. Would he actually?
      • He’s not the type to say things he doesn’t mean, so probably?
        • A team with a three-time World Champion midlaner as coach? LOL, gg.
    • NGL, I thought Empire would suck at explaining because of his prodigy vibe, but he’s insanely good. Even LoL noobs get it.
      • Hard agree.
        • ??? “Lulu, just dodge their skills and hit yours.”
