Ch. 92 This is How Dangerous Missions Can Be, Everyone

    Translator Note

Hi hi! LegoMyEggo here! So the author is being silly, they seemed to have gone through the effort to make a clearly Overwatch based game complete with brand new names for some Heroes but not others, for example in this chapter Zarya was just Zarya but Definitely Not Hanzo was Kenzo still.

    R̃éàd̃ ̈ôǹ ̂K̃ât́R̃èäd̈ïńg̈C̈ãf̀è

So going forward I will be translating things as though they are just Overwatch. I retroactively fixed the past 3 chapters with the changes so now Kenzo is Hanzo, Hanji is Genji and Hyper War is Overwatch. If I missed anything please let me know!!

However, if a lot of people would like me to stick with a more faithful TL, such as keeping the different names and the same names then I can do that too!

Oh Also I have played uh… maybe 3 hours of Overwatch total so if I get anything wrong please let me know!!

Chapter 92: This is How Dangerous Missions Can Be, Everyone

    [Overwatch Gallery]

    • She’s not hacking, you idiots LOLOLOL
    • War Gallery, admit you’re a bunch of clowns, right?
    • You guys swarmed an innocent streamer’s broadcast, made a mess, and now you’re humiliated LOL
    • I knew it was a joke the moment these low-tier players started talking about hack analysis.
    • General: “Ignorant people with strong beliefs are terrifying.”

With General himself, a three-time world champion, stepping in to defend Da-jeong, public opinion across communities shifted almost instantly.

Title: I’m the 43++ DPS main who posted that Lulu isn’t hacking.

    Author: PleaseRespectFurryLovers

(Attached: Previous post and tier verification screenshot)

I was so shocked when I saw the downvotes pouring in earlier

I’ve never watched her stream before, but when I heard she was accused of hacking, I went to check it out.

After watching, it was clear she wasn’t hacking, so I made a post saying so.

But then I got bombarded with comments calling me a “fanatic defender.”

At that point, I gave up trying to reason with these clowns LOL

Some of the commenters were low-tier Gold/Plat players.

What do they even know to be spouting nonsense like that?

You’re just embarrassing yourselves, you idiots.

    • On a separate note, Lulu is insanely good.
    • I’ve been grinding for 10 seasons and barely hit 43 with my aim, but her talent is on another level.
    • As General said, her innate game sense is just mind-blowing.
    • Wait, isn’t this guy’s nickname…
      • What?
    • There were so many clowns earlier LOL They said she was tracing edges, but when I checked the clips, her aim was legit.
      • Those idiots don’t even know what tracing edges means. They just parrot what hack analysts say.
        • They don’t even know how to aim, so how would they understand?
    • In a world of one-eyed people, having two eyes makes you a freak… You’ve been through a lot, my guy.
      • Lulu had it worse because of those War Gallery clowns.
        • Fr
    • It was even more satisfying because General respected her. He seemed serious about offering her a pro career.
      • If she’s really a newbie, that offer makes sense. I watched some replays, and she could easily be high Master or even low Grandmaster.
        • If that’s true, her talent is insane
          • Plus, she’s a girl. If she’s trained well, she could be a real star LOL

As previously overlooked passionate fans began to speak up, it became clear that the accusations were baseless attacks from players who didn’t understand the game.

The War Gallery was set ablaze with discussions.

Title: Just because General said she’s not hacking, does that mean she’s not? Are you idiots?

    Author: LongLiveShiro

Do you clowns think General is the law of Overwatch? LOL

What are you going to do if it turns out she’s actually hacking?

    The important thing isn’t General’s opinion—it’s Blizzard’s judgment.

There are so many idiots here with inflated egos LOL

    • I’ll give this troll 30/100. Not bad.
      • What troll? LOL They’re just stating facts.
        • These days, idiots think whatever they say becomes fact.
    • Are there really people here who trust Blizzard? They falsely banned a pro player not long ago LOL
      • For real, they permanently banned Guardian’s secret alt and only unbanned it later. How can you trust them? LOL
        • Fact: Blizzard didn’t ban Shiro even after reports until General confronted them.
          • Big corporations sure know how to handle things LOL
    • Why does this guy’s bio say “Shiro defender”?
      • LOL
        • Did he get mad because his favorite streamer got banned and now he’s attacking others? LOL
          • This is why bios are important, everyone.
            • Wow, this is really disgusting…
    • Anyone who trusts Blizzard over General is probably one of those idiots who defended Shiro.
      • This is so true. General risked his entire career to call out Shiro, and Blizzard only acted after he proved it.
        • General, the hero of our times… How did you live like this?
          • General, our savior ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Even the last remaining trolls who insisted on doubting her were swept away by the backlash and forced to retreat.

Title: Am I the only one who’s completely charmed by Lulu-chan?

    Author: AspiringSupportMain

I usually never watch VTubers, but I went to check her out after all the drama today and ended up subscribing.

I don’t usually watch female streamers because I get frustrated watching people who aren’t good at games.

But Lulu-chan is genuinely skilled, and her mindset is great.

Even in Quick Match, when her team was struggling, she just said, “I’ll carry,” and actually did it.

    Plus, she’s super cute. Agreed?

To the idiot who started the hacking accusations: thank you.

Because of clowns like you, her stream went viral, and now I’m part of the Cherry Squad.

    *******************

    • Welcome to the Cherry Squad.
      • This guy has good taste if he’s simping for Lulu-chan.
        • He’s got what it takes to go pro fr LOL
          • I bow my head to the seniors…
    • Lulu-chan’s mindset is insane. Anyone who’s watched her from the beginning knows.
      • The only time Lulu-chan gets mad is when the Cherry Squad does something toxic.
        • Lately, she’s been getting mad at the members too. Is it just me?
          • That’s because the members are acting like toxic Cherries…
    • I was also blown away by her game sense.
    • I watched a few more games after the hack explanation, and she was insane. She blocked ultimates with Zarya bubbles and soloed healers. What the hell?
        • ? A newbie can do that?
          • Lulu-chan said she watches a lot of pro streams, so she knows some advanced techniques.
            • Knowing it in your head and pulling it off in-game are two different things. She’s truly amazing

Thanks to the unintended viral marketing, Lulu and Blue LUV’s participation in the tournament gained even more attention.

As they say, the ground hardens after the rain.

    *****

After the hack explanation stream ended smoothly thanks to General, I restarted my stream and was greeted by a much larger audience than usual.

Normally, I’d have around 5,000 viewers at most, but today, even without any special collabs or events, over 9,000 viewers filled the chat.

“Hehe, I’m sorry for causing so much trouble earlier.”

    • Why is Lulu-chan apologizing?
    • It’s just idiots being idiots. Don’t worry about it.
    • What’s wrong with being good at games?
    • But seriously, you were way too good, Lulu-chan.
    • How about a Hanzo tutorial stream later?

    A tutorial stream?

    Everyone’s going overboard again.

I haven’t even hit Grandmaster yet, so how can I do a tutorial?

    [‘DingDingDing’ has donated 40,000 won!]

    • It’s not much, but here’s some consolation money…

“Whoa, thank you for the 40,000 won donation. But, um, you really don’t have to give me consolation money.”

Since today’s focus was on practicing Overwatch, I tried to log back into the game, but a large donation labeled “consolation money” came through.

I expressed my gratitude but waved my hands, signaling that I didn’t want to receive money like this.

    • By the way, Lulu-chan, didn’t you complete the mission earlier?
    • You didn’t get the mission reward because you ended the stream.
    • Right, you should claim that.

“Ah, the mission? It’s fine. We don’t usually have missions on my stream anyway.”

I think the mission was to win three Quick Matches in a row.

After winning two, I lost one, and then I had to end the stream for the hack explanation before completing the third win.

    But I didn’t mind.

It was my fault for leaving the mission on in the first place.

Our stream doesn’t usually have missions to begin with.

    • But if you completed it, you should claim the reward.
    • Hey, where’s the guy who set the mission? Deposit the mission fee already.
    • CEO, the mission fee hasn’t been deposited yet. Please send it to Lulu-chan’s account ASAP.

Despite my insistence that it was fine, the Cherries started demanding that the mission fee be paid.

Knowing that pushing back wouldn’t help, I softened my tone and spoke gently.

“Really, it’s okay, Cherries. I wasn’t planning to accept the reward even if I completed it.”

    • But still…
    • You’re just throwing away 100,000 won?
    • Lulu-chan, you still need to make money…

But the Cherries still couldn’t accept it.

They argued that even if the mission wasn’t reactivated, I should still receive the reward for completing it.

So, with a smile, I queued up for another Quick Match and said to them,

“Hehe, no, really. I’m fine. Just stay with me until the end of the stream today, okay, Cherries?”

    • ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
    • Is Lulu-chan an angel?
    • She speaks so beautifully…
    • Those who called this kind girl a hacker, please reflect…

    No, don’t go that far.

Of course, I felt wronged, but I can understand where they were coming from.

If someone who’s supposedly playing the game for the first time suddenly dominates Quick Match, even I’d be suspicious.

    [‘TINFH’ has donated 100,000 won!]

    • Sorry for the late mission fee deposit. I didn’t know you were streaming again because I was eating…

Just as I was about to start playing, feeling relieved that the chat had calmed down, a sudden donation made my eyes widen.

“Huh?! No, no! I said I wasn’t going to accept the mission fee…! Did you not hear because I just started streaming again?”

    • LOLOLOL
    • She ended up getting the mission fee after all LOL
    • That’s how it should be LOL
    • You should pay extra for being late LOLOL

The viewers laughed at my flustered reaction.

It’s not that they were happy I got the mission fee— they were just happy to see me surprised!

    [‘Inir’ has donated 30,000 won!]

    • Sorry for the late mission fee deposit. I’ll enjoy the stream until the end. Loyalty loyalty ^^7

“No! You didn’t even set a mission…! Why are you depositing a mission fee?!”

    • Fake mission LOLOL
    • Now even fake missions are happening LOL
    • Isn’t this just an excuse to donate? LOL

    That’s what I’m saying!

I clearly saw only one person set a mission earlier!

Why are you making up missions just to donate?!

    [‘AxolotlFanClub’ has donated 50,000 won!]

    • Now that I think about it, I might not have paid a mission fee two years ago… I’ll deposit it now.

    “I wasn’t even streaming two years ago…!”

In the end, even though I started the game, I couldn’t focus properly because of the barrage of “fake mission” deposits.

Is this what it feels like to be hit with money?
