What could she be asking me to explain?

Honestly, I was a bit taken aback.

But once I realized what the object Aileen was holding out to me was, I had no choice but to become a bit more respectful.

The moment Aileen decides, I would taste the sharp sting of electricity.

Considering the specs I’d seen in the game, I probably wouldn’t die, but the very fact of having electricity flow through my body was unwelcome.

I’m not the type who thinks sticking chopsticks into an electrical outlet is manly.

    That’s not manly, it’s stupid.

In the game, I didn’t die, but by acting recklessly, I could win that 0.1% probability and become a wandering soul.

…It’s not like there’s a guarantee I’d return to my world if I died.

So it was natural for me to show Aileen my palms and watch her cautiously.

It seemed there was some kind of misunderstanding.

I’m a victim if anything; I haven’t done anything wrong.

As I looked at Aileen with cold sweat, she seemed somewhat pleased.

She might be recalling detective novels she enjoyed reading.

The only difference from those novels would be that she’s mistaking an innocent person for the culprit.

Judging by the excitement visible on Aileen’s face… I thought perhaps it wasn’t such a serious matter.

    I carefully spoke up.

“Um… I don’t know what you’re talking about. Could you please explain in more detail?”

At that, she fiddled with the magical tool with a somewhat uncertain expression.

The electricity seemed to be saying it knew the answer, and I gulped.

Aileen, who shuddered slightly for some reason, said:

“‘It’ growing on students. Isn’t this something you orchestrated, teacher?”

    “…What?”

    What nonsense is this?

While I was dumbfounded by the absurd accusation, Aileen raised her voice with obvious excitement.

“And even the massive mental interference for it… please tell me. Why did you plan such a vicious… well, anyway, why did you orchestrate this?”

It’s like an alien speaking right in front of me.

…Though she doesn’t have tentacles nor a protruding belly, so maybe not an alien.

The fact that I’m thinking about alien discrimination in the midst of this shows just how much Aileen’s words have made me feel stupid.

Why would I make male genitals grow on students when I’m going crazy because of that very issue?

And what’s this about mental interference…

Just the nuance of the term made it seem quite sinister.

Listening to her words, it felt like I had some kind of hypnosis app.

    Still clueless, I carefully spoke.

“Um… I don’t know what misunderstanding you have, but why do you think that? If someone really is plotting something, I think I’m actually a victim.”

    “Hmm…”

Would I be crazy enough to make male genitals sprout just so they’d come to me for treatment?

I’m not even from this world; I’m just someone who got caught up in this for unknown reasons.

    If I’m anything, I’m a victim; I can’t possibly be a perpetrator, right?

Aileen seemed to understand this, as her expression became uncertain.

Then, as if she had realized something, she snapped her fingers and approached me.

Feeling an ominous premonition, I asked her.

“Uh, so… isn’t the misunderstanding cleared up?”

    “I’ve heard there’s a race called succubi.”

Having said that, she made me stand up, saying she wanted to check if I had a tail.

She looked a bit embarrassed and apologetic about it.

…Though judging by the fact that she was still pointing the magical tool at me, her suspicions remained.

Though still dazed and indignant, I thought it was worthwhile.

It felt like I was playing along with Aileen’s… detective game, but the question she raised had caught my interest as well.

I’d believed it because Michelle said it1seemed that way, but what if it’s not true?

Could I find a clue to go back if I get closer to the truth about this?

For that, it seemed I would desperately need the help of Aileen, who wasn’t affected by whatever this “mental interference” was.

…This was definitely a Yuri dating simulation game, so why did it suddenly become a thriller?

    Well… because it’s not a game anymore?

    “Hik?!”

Meanwhile, I felt Aileen’s hands searching my buttocks.

Her slender, slightly cold hands slipped between my tracksuit, gently probing the dimple above my buttock cleft.

Maybe thanks to my increased stats, it felt somewhat… sensuous.

Eventually, she muttered “…soft” before clearing her throat and straightening up.

“Well, it seems there’s no tail.”

    “Of course… because I don’t have one?”

    “N-Next…”

Having checked my buttocks, Aileen now said she wanted to check my abdomen, specifically the lower abdomen. Something about looking for what she called an “umbra”?

It’s not a completely unfamiliar term.

I nodded and lowered the zipper of my tracksuit, slowly lifting my pristine white T-shirt.

…It wasn’t particularly embarrassing, but the heat reflected in Aileen’s ivory eyes made me feel quite strange.

Staring at my pale lower abdomen, Aileen wasn’t satisfied with just looking and once again extended her delicate hands toward me.

Her gentle touch carefully searched for a potential groove in my lower abdomen.

I felt the space that wasn’t originally mine twitch, twitch.

Once I became aware of it, its presence felt strangely magnified.

    “Mmm…”

Having diligently examined my lower abdomen and pelvis, Aileen muttered with a slightly flushed face.

“There isn’t one…? You’re not hiding it, are you?”

The only thing I’m hiding is ‘that’ in my heart.

As I vigorously shook my head, she tapped her fingers as if deep in thought.

“Then why… aren’t you affected, teacher? Everyone else says ‘wasn’t it always like this?’ when this topic comes up.”

    “W-Well, I don’t know?”

So, are you saying I’m the culprit?

Seeing Aileen’s face that seemed to be asking this, even I began to feel something was amiss.

Aileen was still pointing the magical tool at me, but now she looked very confused.

I was worried she might accidentally fire it.

Unable to do one thing or another, I lowered the clothes I had lifted, and Aileen flinched.

“Although I’ve confirmed that the teacher isn’t a demon like a succubus, not all… mysteries have been solved yet.”

I don’t understand the mystery either, so what am I supposed to do?

    It was at that moment.

I heard a voice in my head that I was hearing for the first time, yet somehow felt familiar.

    – I think I can help.

    Who is this?

    “What’s wrong?”

    “Ah, it’s nothing.”

    Aileen’s questioning gaze.

But the owner of the voice seemed to find it quite amusing, giggling.

Wait, but really, who is it? Could it be that I unknowingly formed a close relationship with something like a demon?

    – You seem confused. If I say I’ve been diligently helping you all this time, will you know who I am?

Helped me… The only ones who’ve helped me since I fell into this world, excluding people, are…

    Spirits, specifically only Undine.

    W-Wait, Undine could speak?

“Teacher? Did you remember something to say?”

    “Ah, no, that’s not it…”

When I started in surprise and trembled, Aileen stared at me intently with deepened suspicion.

No sooner did I feel the injustice than the voice, presumed to be Undine, spoke in a content tone.

    – Although this isn’t the opportunity I desired… this isn’t bad either. Yes, I think I can be of help in the current situation… what do you say? Will you accept?

    …Is this really Undine?

No matter how I think about it, something feels off.

The Undine I’ve known so far didn’t feel this intelligent, but rather like a playful and loyal girl.

It’s not like I’m shouting, “This isn’t my Undine!”

But something… something kept bothering me.

What helped me make a judgment was…

Amusingly enough, thanks to my increased stats, I could clearly sense some kind of energy.

    – Nod if you accept.

Even in that moment, I could feel something clear yet endlessly deep.

    As if entranced, I nodded.

As the voice laughed with satisfaction, water suddenly began to gush around me.

    “Kyah!?”

    Fizz! Fizz!

Startled, Aileen must have used her magical tool, as the menacing sound of crackling electricity echoed.

But it shattered without doing me any harm.

The flood that swirled around me and Aileen like a whirlpool, along with bubbling foam, eventually spread out on the floor like a soft bed.

Aileen, drenched from being swept up in the water, stared at me with a blank face.

As I shook my head and waved my hands, indicating it wasn’t my doing.

The soft foam that had spread like a carpet began to bubble, bubble.

A beautiful woman wrapped in blue light emerged from the foam.

    “Wow…”

    “…Huh.”

She was a woman with long, water-colored hair. Draped in a pristine white garment like a figure from mythology, she gazed at me.

Rather than thinking the garment looked somehow familiar, my heart pounded in various ways at the sudden appearance of this beautiful woman I’d never seen before.

The mysteriously emerged woman looked around the infirmary, which was drenched with water, and snapped her fingers.

The foam that had spread out converged toward her.

Simultaneously, she whispered in my ear.

“Now that we’ve formally contracted… I can demand payment.”

    “…What?”

Leaving behind those meaningful words, she turned to Aileen, who looked shocked, and spoke.

“I think I can erase your doubts.”

Aileen, finally coming to her senses, hurriedly asked.

    “Um… w-who are you…?”

Aileen’s face suggested she had some guesses.

The woman, who cast a deep smile, said:

    “I am El.”

Her cold touch traced my waist.

    “The mother of all waters.”

    What?

    Who are you really?

So we can add one more count of sexual harassment along with being forced into a contract. I mean, what kind of contract allows you to accept just by shaking your head? Not even my imaginary cat, Ƕ͊҉҆͠ð҉ǹ͜ẓ͝Ҿ͡ӈ̷ҕ͢ Ѥ҉͞ҏ͙͘͢ẅ҈ӹ͘ Ƀ͖҆҄͘Ѫ҈͡Ҿ̵Ҋ҉́ Ϟӄ҆͢ȸ҉҆͜͠Ҩǂ҉҄͘Ɽ҉   did that.
