I had seen Michelle looking haggard before, but her face visible now… I don’t think I could figure out how to express it.

    “Um… w-what’s wrong?”

Even I couldn’t help but be flustered.

No matter how much I try to think of this as a game, seeing unexpected appearances makes my head complicated.

Can I really call this a game world? Is what I know truly all there is to them?

    …Such thoughts.

Looking at Michelle in front of me now, I couldn’t help but think that way.

The response of a vividly living person that couldn’t be felt in the dialogue options I spent time considering and choosing.

So I wasn’t sure how to handle it… whether what I was thinking now was right.

I don’t even know why she’s acting like this.

…Did things go badly with the person she had an accident with?

Anyway, I closed the door and approached Michelle.

I could see Michelle bathed in light coming through the open curtains.

Her wavy black hair shimmered faintly like the night sky, and her limbs, drooping lifelessly, made me feel a frailty I hadn’t noticed before.

The darkened area under her eyes made me want to reach out and comfort her without even realizing it.

Her vivid appearance was unlike any described beyond the screen.

    Perhaps that’s why.

It evoked a strange feeling in me.

Maybe it’s because of the one-sided internal intimacy that had already built up.

Even if it was built one-sidedly from beyond the screen.

I know something feels off… but I’m not sure what.

Though I probably can’t fill the emptiness she might be feeling.

Couldn’t I at least comfort her?

Now I have a weapon that would likely work on anyone regardless of gender…

I took a deep breath, approached her, and carefully asked as she remained silent.

“I-I don’t know what’s wrong… but would you like to t-touch my breasts1 to calm down?”

    “Excuse me?”

At that, Michelle, who had been immersed in some dark mood, looked at me with a startled face.

It was good that the gloomy atmosphere disappeared, but seeing her changed face… I realized something was wrong.

But this isn’t right, I’m sure this worked well… in the game, girls would play around like this!

Is it because I’m not actually a woman…?

Sensing the suddenly awkward atmosphere, I hurriedly opened my mouth.

    “Th-that was a j-joke. A joke… ahaha…”2

    I see.

Michelle sighed faintly and looked better than before, but still appeared dark.

The way she glanced at me made me think that despite my claim it was a joke… maybe she actually wanted to touch but held back.

Bringing a chair to sit in front of her, I looked into her eyes and carefully asked.

“So… why are you like this? Is it something difficult to tell me?”

…I wondered if I was being too nosy, but if there was a distressed beauty in front of me and I could ignore her, I wouldn’t have liked Yuri in the first place.

And I need to know the enemy to give advice, right?

Michelle, facing my steady gaze, looked at me with an indescribably complex expression before carefully opening her mouth.

“…How would Teacher Iris feel if a friend did something terrible to you but you didn’t know about it?”

    Something heavy came out.

    Wasn’t it a lovers’ quarrel?

    “By terrible, you mean…?”

    “Th-that… I don’t think I can say yet.”

She trembled as if hit by an electric shock, then deeply bowed her head and said so.

…What on earth did she do?

But if the other person can’t notice, isn’t it not a big deal?

If it was really serious, the person involved would know, logically speaking.

Thinking that way, I suspected Michelle might be overthinking things.

Putting shellfish in the food of someone with a shellfish allergy would be serious, but for someone without an allergy, it would be a win.

…The analogy is strange, but for the receiving person, it might not be a big deal—that’s what I’m saying.

Though I’m not exactly sure what it is.

“So the other person hasn’t said anything to the instructor? And they don’t treat you any differently?”

“…Yes. That person is actually treating me better… no, um, th-this isn’t about me, it’s about someone I know… um…”

Realizing it was too late, Michelle’s face was visibly filled with embarrassment.

How could I… treat this like a game in this situation?

If I were a real woman, it would have been legal to push Michelle onto the bed right now.

Whoever it is, I feel my mouth watering.

Who could have made this socially inexperienced wolf-woman like this?

It feels like it’s already out of my hands.

If this were a game, I would have given up on pursuing her and looked for someone else. Separately, I would have eaten popcorn while using my current position to watch.

    Anyway.

Looking at Michelle, who was glancing at me with a reddened face as if waiting for my answer, I opened my mouth.

“Well, if the other person hasn’t noticed… isn’t it okay? It might not be that important to them.”

    “I don’t think that’s the case…”

She said with a rather serious face. Somewhere filled with certainty.

“Hmm… what’s precious is relative. Money is extremely valuable and necessary to some, but to others, it feels ordinary, right?”

    “…I don’t really understand.”

As expected from someone who has only intensely pursued swordsmanship, she seems to not understand how the world works.

This is… also according to her setting.

I smiled faintly with slight comfort.

“Then is there a reason you can’t tell the other person? How about being honest and talking about it? …Why don’t you relay that?”

    “…I will relay it.”

    How tiresome.

    But that’s how romance is.

Relationships also exist that progress because someone pushes from behind like this.

Well, I’ve only experienced romance through games, but isn’t it like tasting the essence of the creators’ experiences deeply melted into it?

That tingling feeling is surely the domain of someone who has experienced it.

    …Or maybe not.

Anyway, I was satisfied because her dark expression had improved somewhat.

    But.

For some reason, she kept glancing at me.

…Was she really disappointed about not being able to touch my breasts earlier?

It seems that it’s true that even women feel good when they touch another woman’s breasts.

Since it would be awkward for me to offer again now, I decided to use an indirect method.

Rising from my seat, I spread my arms and looked at Michelle.

Thanks to our height difference, our eyes were level.

“Here, I’ll give you a hug to encourage you, how about you relay that to that person?”

    “What? No, that…”

She trembled with her pupils as if very flustered, but soon, with a determined face, buried her face in my chest.

I could feel her soft hair and fluffy ears twitching. The hot breath from her mouth tickling my chest area was… a bit strange.

Seemingly no longer feeling awkward, Michelle hugged me tightly and murmured.

    “I will… definitely relay it.”

    “Do that.”

Feeling somewhat sad for some reason, I patted her head, and suddenly my vision swayed.

    “Waaah!?”

When I came to my senses, I was being held tightly by Michelle and had fallen onto the bed.

    “M-Michelle?”

    “Zzzz… Kuuu…”

…Perhaps the tension released from being buried in my chest?

Well, I understood since her face showed extreme fatigue, but…

    It was a bit embarrassing.

Instead of me hugging her… her hugging me to sleep… was unexpected.

But with my frail body, freeing myself from Michelle’s arms was a distant task.

Her breath coming and going made it feel a bit hotter.

Inwardly shaking my head, I finally gave up and wriggled to find a somewhat comfortable position in that state.

If Michelle wakes up, I’d feel sorry, but that would be good… if she doesn’t get up, there’s nothing I can do.

However, Michelle did not wake up.

She seemed to be in a deep sleep, not moving at all.

    Can’t be helped.

    …I am a hugging pillow.

    This is not intrusion.

    That’s settled.

Having perfectly completed my mind control, I closed my eyes.

I was quite tired today too.

My consciousness soon began to sink into darkness.

    …Hmm, but still.

Listening to the warm body temperature and the sound of a heartbeat not my own.

The thought that it was… quite nice flashed through my mind.

    “…”

    Michelle opened her eyes blankly.

Then she felt a warm and soft sensation on her face. With a nice scent as a bonus.

Recalling last night’s events, she was startled and released her arms, then hugged again.

She was worried that Iris, whom she was holding, might fall from the bed.

After confirming her safety, she swallowed a sigh inwardly and barely managed to leave the bed.

    Seeing Iris’s face, sleeping obliviously…

Michelle felt something stifling yet strangely sensual.

After staring at Iris intently, she carefully murmured.

    “…Are you there?”

To whom was this voice directed?

In the quiet room, only Michelle’s voice resonated softly.

Michelle waited patiently until someone responded. Then, from around Iris’s chest, water droplets sprouted.

Something in the form of… Undine.

She, who had bubbled up, looked at Michelle with an expression of languor.

[How persistent. What do you want that made you call?]

Shaking at the strange sensation of being spoken to directly in her mind, Michelle asked in a low voice.

“How long must what happened then… be kept a secret?”

    [Hmm…]

Then, whatever was impersonating Undine glanced at Michelle with a displeased face.

[Not far off. Soon… there should be a catalyst.]

    “By catalyst, you mean…?”

[I have no obligation to tell you that much.]

    “…”

Of course you don’t, since you’re having all the fun.

Leaving behind words that made no sense, it disappeared abruptly like morning dew.

Looking at it, Michelle clenched her fist and resolved.

That when that day comes, she would confess.

…That she had unknowingly attempted to make a baby.

    She resolved to confess.

    Twitch!

…First, she needed to deal with what had suddenly stood up.
