    I looked into the mirror.

A girl I didn’t recognize was standing there.

Snow white hair. Sapphire blue eyes. And above her head, a circular ring floated in midair.

    …What?

    Am I dead?

“Hmm. Well, I am definitely alive.”

I was still breathing. But something was missing.

    My gender had changed.

No, it wasn’t just my gender.

My home, my belongings, and even the entire world had changed.

Transmigration. The kind of thing you’d only see in novels or comics had actually happened to me.

    “…….”

I thought I’d be shocked, but surprisingly, I was calm.

I had a rough idea of what kind of world this was, and more than anything, the situation itself wasn’t particularly shocking to me.

    “…This is actually amazing.”

Before possessing this body, I was twenty years old.

An age where I would have soon been dragged off to the military.

I had no idea why I had been possessed, but at least I managed to escape from the grasp of the malevolent deity known as the Ministry of National Defense, who would have forced me into a dark fantasy world—also known as the army.

    And more importantly…

    “Millennium Science School, huh?”

The emblem was clearly printed on my student ID and uniform.

In this world—Blue Archive—this school was probably the equivalent of a science academy or a technical institute, heavily focused on scientific studies.

It seemed that I had possessed the body of a student from that school—an unimportant background character who wasn’t even playable yet.

    “This is seriously amazing…!”

Of course, having to attend school again was a bit tragic, but this was still a much better outcome.

What if I had ended up in Trinity, Gehenna, or worse—Abydos?

    “Oh…”

I let out a dry laugh and shook my head.

I didn’t even want to imagine being in those academies. After all, weren’t they about to explode with chaos in the main story?

On top of that, they were some of the worst environments to live in.

For someone like me, who came from a modern society, this place was the best possible option.

    “And…”

I stopped my train of thought and looked down at my student ID again.

A digital ID, befitting a prestigious science academy.

    [Name: ■■■]
    [Year: 1st Year]
    [Club Affiliation: X]

    “What the hell is this?”

    The name field was blank.

No, it wasn’t blank—it was completely blacked out, like it had been censored.

    What was going on?

Was this supposed to be a clue for me?

A challenge to recover the memories of the body I had possessed and reclaim my name?

    Or…

“…Am I supposed to pick my own name?”

    No answer came.

I decided to think about it later.

    Tiring!

At that moment, an alarm rang out from somewhere.

It was coming from a phone lying on the bed.

    [8:00 – School Day!]

Right. Whatever the case, I had to get going first.

“Since I’ve possessed this body, I might as well take a look around.”

    Possession?

Let’s just give it a try.

    ***

    “Shit.”

On my way to school, I let out a deep sigh, unable to hold back a curse. Because no matter how I looked at it, I was going to be late.

“Why did I have to do that…?”

Before heading to school, I thought I should freshen up a bit, just like I used to on Earth. I stepped into the bathroom, intending to just wash my face and rinse my hair quickly.

I wasn’t planning on taking a full shower. Just a quick rinse and wash—nothing too complicated.

    “Damn it.”

    That was my mistake.

I had underestimated how difficult it was to manage long hair.

Even though my hair wasn’t as long as Arisu’s, which dragged on the ground, my silver hair still reached below my shoulders. The process of applying shampoo and rinsing it out was pure agony.

And then I realized—drying my hair with a blow dryer was even more hellish.

“…So where the hell am I supposed to go now?”

An even greater problem: I had no idea how the Millennium campus was laid out.

As if being lost wasn’t bad enough, my still-damp hair kept sticking to my cheeks, making things even more irritating.

    “This is driving me crazy.”

My mental stability, which had remained intact even after being possessed, was starting to waver.

Now that I thought about it, how exactly did the academies in Kivotos operate?

Did they have fixed class schedules like high schools?

Or did they function more like universities, where students registered for courses?

Since clubs played a major role in the game, the latter seemed more likely… but the real problem was that my possessed body’s phone had no schedule saved at all.

“Wouldn’t most people at least save a picture or app with their class schedule?”

Just how chaotic had this body’s school life been?

As I was wrestling with my phone in frustration—

    “Hey, is something wrong?”

    Someone spoke to me.

Right. I should just ask for help.

With that thought, I turned my head—

    “Huh?”

    My eyes widened in shock.

    “Is something the matter?”

    “Embez— No, I mean… President?”

Why the hell are you here?

    I furrowed my brows instinctively.
