Mutation – 6

‘……Should I stop thinking?’
As soon as it came to mind again, things happened as if they had been waiting. At this point, a doubt arose whether the very act of me thinking was the cause.
In fact, I could easily tell that Kaikilia would come much sooner than in the game.
The fact that Floretta arrived here would mean that Minerva also arrived with her, and if it’s Minerva, she would naturally think of receiving the Pope’s blessing to lift the barrier in the bedroom.
It’s just that she couldn’t think of it right away because she was receiving Floretta’s blessing.
I turned my eyes. Kaikilia, dressed in that combat suit from last time, and Minerva, wearing a bath robe that exposed a significant portion of her chest, were visible.
Kaikilia’s expression was completely stiff, and Minerva’s expression was slightly subtle. It was an expression that couldn’t be explained away by simply saying they were giving a blessing.
I tried to at least remove the hand gripping my chest, but Floretta’s grip on my wrist didn’t budge. Instead, she was pulling it closer and closer to her own chest.
The breast, subjected to force, was squashed sideways. The side of the breast, pushed down and protruding from under the armpit, touched my upper arm.
“Can you not hear, or are you pretending not to hear?”
Of course, Kaikilia couldn’t possibly have not seen this. A voice, clearly colder than before, was heard. Thinking that something would explode if I left it like this, I twitched my arm.
Floretta, who had been mixing tongues with me, letting out strange moans with her eyes closed, slowly opened her eyes and untangled her tongue as I let out such an atmosphere. A silver thread stretched between our lips.
Floretta broke it with her finger, put it in her mouth, and sucked on it. A gentle smile, the benevolent smile she had shown countless times, appeared on her face. The legs that had been firmly holding me were released.
“Your Majesty, Emperor of the Empire, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you.”
And Floretta casually greeted Kaikilia. Her attitude was as if nothing had happened.
“You said, ‘It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you,’ did you?”
Kaikilia naturally scoffed.
The holy sword was stuck vertically in the corridor right next to her, but her eyes, which glowed golden like the holy sword, held a much more murderous aura than usual.
“Recall what you were doing in My Imperial Palace. No, if you’ve recalled it, say it directly with your own mouth. What you were doing in My Imperial Palace.”
“It’s a question with an already determined answer. Wasn’t I bestowing a blessing upon the Honored Guest-nim of the Holy Nation?”
However, Floretta calmly brushed off that murderous aura. It wasn’t just brushing it off; she was so composed it was closer to treating it as if it were nothing at all.
“A blessing? Did you just say ‘blessing’?”
It seemed like the excuse didn’t work at all. I would have done the same. What kind of blessing is a deep kiss with tongues intertwined and breasts being squeezed as if kneaded-
“Since when was a ‘blessing’ an act of allowing an outside man to touch one’s chest while bestowing it? Are you daring to insult Me?”
‘Ah.’
Judging by Kaikilia’s words, which only took issue with the breast-kneading, it seemed she recognized the kiss itself as a blessing and naturally overlooked it.
Indeed, even the Knight Commanders of the Silver Dawn Knights, and Minerva, had calmly overlooked it when the Popes kissed them right in front of their eyes, claiming to bestow blessings.
It wouldn’t be strange at all if Kaikilia’s perception was altered for that one thing as well.
‘Wait, she overlooked the kiss as a blessing, but she’s taking issue with the breast-touching, which means…….’
I looked back at Floretta with eyes that seemed to have realized something. Surely not, right?
“It seems you are making a grave mistake, Your Majesty, Emperor of the Empire.”
Her gentle and serene voice was heard again.
“Firstly, the Honored Guest-nim is not an outside man. Even if you rate him lowly, he is directly below our Popes, or perhaps even as important as our Popes. Secondly, it is an undeniable fact that for a greater blessing to be bestowed, the subjects of the blessing must be in greater contact with each other. To fulfill that condition, what else is there besides a woman’s breasts?”
Floretta, having said that, slightly lifted her breasts from underneath.
The heavy mass of fat was momentarily lifted slightly upwards, and as her hand fell away, it heavily swayed downwards due to the laws of the world, bouncing elastically.
“You made him knead your breasts to bestow a greater blessing? You’re telling a lie without batting an eye.”
“How dare I tell a lie in the name of God? If you truly cannot believe me, you may ask the Pope of the Moon.”
“Aren’t all you ‘Popes’ in cahoots? That is an utterly meaningless question. Furthermore, if it’s for a greater blessing, simply embracing would suffice to meet the condition. The fact that you specifically chose the breasts among so many other parts must be due to your personal desires.”
“If there’s a female body part that serves the same function as breasts, it would be the buttocks…… but since both of mine are similar in size, wouldn’t offering the one that’s easier for the Honored Guest-nim to touch be a consideration?”
What is she doing, calmly comparing the size of her breasts and buttocks?
I tried hard to maintain my expression. Her first impression certainly wasn’t like that. Was she just hiding her true nature? I wanted to believe that she didn’t become like that because of me.
“That bitch, the Pope of the Sun, not only covets what belongs to others, but also acts so promiscuously with her body? Truly, it is utterly disgusting and ugly. Perhaps you might have had talent in other areas. How about trying to make use of that talent even now?”
Kaikilia sneered. The level of her words was such that I was startled and doubted my ears.
Not only did she use the term ‘bitch’ for Floretta, but she also sexually insulted her, and even brought up the God she believes in. It was clearly a remark that was precariously close to the line, or perhaps even crossed it.
Even I, who knew almost nothing about political customs, felt this way, so how must Floretta, who heard it, have felt?
“……”
But contrary to my thoughts, Floretta wore an utterly serene expression. Even though she would clearly have the moral high ground if she decided to take issue with it.
“You are correct.”
From between her cherry-red lips, words no one expected popped out.
“Because I have dedicated this body for the Honored Guest-nim. While it is a perfectly normal thing between a man and a woman, if it is an action performed by a woman in the position of a Pope, it might appear promiscuous in the eyes of others.”
“What?”
Even the person who threw such a sneer seemed not to have expected such a response, and wore a slightly surprised expression. Minerva, who was watching their argument from behind, was the same.
However, at the words that immediately followed, Kaikilia’s expression completely soured.
“Your Majesty, Emperor of the Empire, I envy you. Haven’t you still preserved that pure female body as it is? Not knowing a man, a body as clean as a blank canvas, a body you have never allowed to anyone your entire life, you still maintain it, don’t you? I envy that purity.”
The last words, uttered with her usual benevolent smile, drove in the wedge.
“The Pope of the Moon and the Pope of the Sun, have now become bodies that are no longer pure.”
“……”
They had become impure bodies. The meaning of saying such words in this particular place was all too clear.
Kaikilia’s golden eyes and Minerva’s silver eyes simultaneously turned towards me. In the context of the conversation, it was undeniable that I was the one who had taken the Popes’ purity. I couldn’t deny it either.
Floretta’s words didn’t stop there.
“To still remain a pure woman, how enviable is that? Surely the Sun and Moon will also be pleased with your actions.”
That was the finishing blow. Kaikilia’s eyes widened. Minerva’s expression was still full of interest, just like before, but Kaikilia was different.
Because even if they were words of praise on the surface, the underlying meaning was completely different. To put it a bit more aggressively, it was, ‘What were you doing while I was screwing around with him?’ And what’s more, that was actually the case.
I never imagined Floretta would say something like this. Is this what they mean by ‘a Pope is a Pope,’ after all?
“Your Majesty, Emperor of the Empire, I am not trying to snatch the Honored Guest-nim from you.”
Towards Kaikilia, who was trembling, clenching her fists as if she had no words to retort, Floretta opened her mouth again.
“It’s just that I merely wish to propose that we all become the Honored Guest-nim’s.”
‘……What is she proposing?’
This time, even I was surprised. Kaikilia seemed to share this sentiment, and she gnashed her teeth, muttering lowly.
“What did you say you were doing just now?”
“You may or may not know, but the Honored Guest-nim is someone whom our Popes alone cannot handle. That is why I am making this proposal, Your Majesty, Emperor of the Empire.”
The phrase “cannot handle” must literally mean what it says, but when the Popes say it, it feels like it has a slightly different meaning.
Surely she didn’t really mean it in that sense.
“The Honored Guest-nim has achieved feats in the Holy Nation that one would not even dare to imagine. The Sun and Moon themselves bestowed blessings, and he heard their voices through prayer. The Honored Guest-nim is also the one who discovered this holy relic.”
Three pairs of eyes briefly gathered on the staff standing next to Floretta.
Even though it was called a flashlight, it was a weapon that was praised for its outstanding appearance, so now that its performance limitations have been overcome, it looked no different from a holy relic itself, no matter how one looked at it.
On top of saying I found that, a being who is not a Pope heard the voices of the Sun and Moon, and not only that, the Sun and Moon themselves bestowed blessings.
Even if you look at them one by one, these are feats that should immediately be revered in the Holy Nation, and she was saying that I achieved all of them alone. Even Kaikilia was showing a surprised expression on her face.
On the contrary, Minerva had an expression as if she had naturally expected it. It seemed that finding the crystal scroll had a very significant impact.
“Such a noble person, how dare we monopolize him?”
With those words, silence fell over the corridor.
Floretta closed her mouth as soon as she finished speaking, and Minerva was looking at me with eyes full of interest and curiosity.
Kaikilia was the same. Her golden pupils stared intently at me. A chilling sensation ran down my spine. They were eyes I couldn’t get used to, no matter how many times I encountered them.
“Come here.”
A voice with clenched teeth was heard.
“……Yes, Your Majesty?”
“I told you to come here.”
I approached Kaikilia. I don’t know what she was thinking, but since Floretta and Minerva were also here, it probably didn’t matter.
The perfectly tailored suit was the first thing that caught my eye. A white dress shirt that faintly revealed the black lingerie worn underneath, a suit coat that reached her ankles, and tight-fitting suit pants.
Kaikilia was already on the taller side, and with such clothes on, her proportions were incredible.
“……”
Kaikilia, who had been looking at me with cold eyes, suddenly grabbed me by the collar and pulled me right in front of her face. My center of gravity naturally shifted, and the distance between us closed instantly.
“I am different from your Popes.”
Her golden eyes turned towards my back. It was where Floretta was.
“I shall properly show you that I alone can handle this man, so watch closely.”
And, our lips met.
