    “It’s three minutes from now.”

    I whispered to Jonathan.

“The effects of the anti-demon will only last for three minutes. After that, the power of immortality will return to them. So let’s see if we can win within that time. Can you handle it?”

    “No- why should I-”

“Okay, 2 minutes, 59 seconds, 58 seconds, 57 seconds left – do you have time to relax?”

    “What the hell!”

Jonathan gritted his teeth as he drew his sword.

The storm of magical power subsided, and Wapha and Betdi looked around their bodies in a daze.

Wapha spread his palms and narrowed his eyes, and Betty spat with a look of utter disbelief.

The crowd roared. The atmosphere was still one of skepticism.

“Has the power of immortality truly vanished? It looks the same.”

“There was a huge storm coming, but… I don’t know!”

If we’re going to drive a wedge in here, we’ll have to show it to you directly.

I took out my dagger and raised it high.

“It’s over. The power of immortality is now mine. I’m not lying. Everyone, open your eyes wide and look.”

Not only the audience, but even Wapa and Betdi looked at me blankly.

Without hesitation, I plunged the dagger deep into his neck.

    Pujik—

It feels dirty no matter when you experience it.

Blood welled up in my mouth, accompanied by an intense pain that tore at my skin and ripped through my throat.

“See, Betty! Here, she killed herself! You stupid woman!”

    “You are so stupid!”

The next moment, Wapha and Betdi’s voices gradually grew quieter.

    Knock, knock.

I fell to the floor and got up again with blood pouring down my neck.

    Phew!

He roughly pulled out the dagger with one hand. The audience gasped in shock.

This is the true power of “Immortal”. And it’s also an enhanced version of “Instant Resurrection.”

Unlike those orcs’ wild immortality, my immortality is always present in my body and cannot be nullified by anything.

“See? I can’t die. I wield the power of immortality.”

    “Oh my, this is ridiculous⋯.”

“Only the immortal Kamula can handle it⋯!”

    “Forget Kamula.”

    I said confidently.

I felt like every orc gathered in this arena was focused on my every word.

I was their new god, their absolute being.

    ‘A savior. Indeed.’

When I heard the elder’s words, I thought that was how it was, but when I actually felt it, I didn’t feel so bad.

Their fate depends on my every word and gesture.

“Let me be clear. Necromancy isn’t just for Camula. I use it too. And my necromancy is far superior to Camula’s. Now, if you have a brain, you can figure out whose side you should be on, right?”

“That human girl stole immortality… It’s true. She’s better than Camula…”

“Watch your words, brother! It’s not a human girl! It’s Estelle!”

    An orc raised both hands.

“Estelle is better than Camula! I should follow Estelle!”

“Lord Estelle! The King of Commanders! Lord Estelle! The new Master of Death!”

“These… can’t they stop! Our master is Lady Kamula! This girl is a fraud!”

Betty shouted, the blood running down her throat, but the orcs were already ignoring him.

Sweat dripped ceaselessly from Wapha’s forehead. His narrow eyes, buried in his plump flesh, scanned the enthusiastic crowd around him.

    “Damn it… They don’t listen to us… Those idiots…”

At this point, Jonathan raised his voice anxiously.

“Estelle! Are you done talking? Didn’t you say there were only three minutes left?”

“Oh, sorry. I guess I have one minute left.”

    “Ugh! I’m going crazy!”

Jonathan’s fighting time was further reduced as I proved my immortality with a suicide show.

Jonathan had no time to hesitate now.

You must defeat Wafa and Betdi within one minute.

    “I don’t know! This is a mess!”

Jonathan, his eyes rolled back, lunged forward with his sword, regardless of whether it was water or fire.

    “This guy is crazy!”

Bettdi swung his axe in a powerful swing. This time, Jonathan dodged it brilliantly.

Bette received Jonathan’s sword with her arm as was her usual habit.

Perhaps he still didn’t believe me. He must still be deluded into believing he possessed immortality.

    “Kwaaaak!”

The price of misjudgment was catastrophic.

A cleanly severed arm rolled across the sand. Crimson muscle and white bone were revealed in the cross-section of the wrist.

Bette grabbed her arm and screamed at the top of her lungs.

“Okay, I cut it off. I cut off his arm… Hahaha!”

Jonathan laughed in bewilderment, still unable to believe what he had done.

“This damn- my arm, kkaaaah- my arm⋯! Camula-sama, my arm⋯!”

    “Betty, shut up!”

“Are you kidding me, brother? That guy cut off my arm! It’s so painful! How am I supposed to endure it…!”

“I told you to shut up!”

Wapha glared at Betdi with a bewildered expression. Only then did Betdi look back at the arena, her eyes filled with pain.

But it was already too late.

    The audience’s gaze had changed.

Everyone clearly heard Betty’s screams. They no longer suspected me.

Bettdi’s arm was severed and never returned. Bettdi was no longer invincible or immortal.

“He’s an immortal orc… what is it? This is the first time I’ve seen Betty in such pain.”

“Estelle is right. Those guys are no longer immortal⋯.”

“The Immortal Orcs are finished! Estelle is the new Immortal God!”

The atmosphere changed, and the stands were filled with a new, unprecedented enthusiasm. It was truly the dawn of a new era.

“Brothers! And don’t forget me, the warrior orc!”

“Of course! The God of Death and the warrior orc! The God of Death and the warrior orc!”

Jonathan, who was very excited, kept stamping his feet hard, encouraging an enthusiastic response from the audience.

Only two orcs, Wapha and Betdi, were isolated and unable to join the frenzy.

    “It’s your turn next, wapa!”

“Now, wait! Let’s talk! We’re intelligent orcs! We can solve this through dialogue!”

“Tell that to your brothers whom you have killed!”

Jonathan, brimming with confidence, rushed towards Wapha.

Wapha instinctively raised both fists with his knuckles clenched, but he clearly had no idea what to do next.

Until now, Wapa’s fights had been solely about giving flesh and taking bones, relying on immortality.

With immortality gone, Wafa had to relearn how to block and dodge from scratch.

    “Die!”

Of course, Jonathan didn’t allow time for that.

    rustle—

Jonathan’s sword tore through Wapa’s belly. The massive belly spilled its contents onto the floor in an instant.

    “Gueeek—!”

    A pig-like scream rang out.

Wapha desperately tried to pick up her entrails scattered on the floor, but fell over.

Jonathan wiped the blood and oil from his sword onto Wapha’s clothes, his eyes sparkling with the excitement of battle.

“Did you all see? Wapa wouldn’t be much without the power of immortality! He just ate like a pig and gained weight!”

“That’s right, Jonathan! Warrior Orc! Warrior Orc!”

“Bettdi, take care of that guy too!”

“I think so! Betty, you come here too!”

Betty was startled when her name was called.

Betty backed away, clutching her severed wrist.

“I, I paid the price. Look. My arm was cut off.”

“That’s not enough, Betty. The only price you’ll pay is your own neck.”

    “Fuck⋯!”

Bettdy picked up the axe with his good hand. Cornered, he hurled it at Jonathan in a final desperate attempt.

    Whoosh—

Jonathan avoided the axe by tilting his head slightly.

“Is that all, Betty? How pathetic!”

Jonathan coolly ended the duel by cutting off Betty’s head.

The corpses of two orcs lay strewn across the cold winter ground. The crowd erupted in excitement at the sight of their red entrails, severed hands, and severed necks.

    “Wow—!”

It was now difficult to even hear what they were shouting. The orcs’ roars, blending together like a gigantic wave, filled the arena.

‘Jonathan really has the makings of a boss.’

I was satisfied with Jonathan’s first real fight. He was usually a grumbling and timid orc, but he was still an orc.

Once I actually got into the fight, I did my part without shame. With more experience, I’m sure I’ll do even better.

“Estelle, we won! It’s all thanks to you!”

    “Yeah, yeah. Good job.”

“You were right. Those guys’ immortality powers were gone, and thanks to that, I won. From now on, I will never doubt your word.”

Jonathan’s eyes overflowed with trust in me.

“Jonathan, but you still have work to finish.”

“What else? Do I have to fight again? I’m a little tired, though….”

“No, just brush your teeth. You’re good at it.”

“Really? Then leave it to me.”

Jonathan nodded as I whispered in his ear.

    “I see, I understand.”

Jonathan raised his sword again and jumped over the fence separating the arena from the stands.

Jonathan took a deep breath and shouted loudly. His voice was so powerful that he didn’t even need a megaphone.

“Brother! Be quiet! Listen to me!”

    “Speak, warrior orc!”

    “Speak! Speak!”

“Our enemies still remain! Our greatest enemies are not the likes of Wafa and Betdi!”

“Who are you! Who are our enemies!”

The orcs were simple and ignorant. Like a log once lit, once the mood was set, it was uncontrollable.

If you gently fan it from the side, it will burn fiercely until all the firewood is burned.

And Jonathan was a natural at fanning the flames. He seamlessly assumed the vacant position of power left by the disappearance of Wafa and Betdi.

“Let me ask you, Camula, are you still afraid of that witch?”

    “Car, Camula⋯?”

“I ask again. Are you afraid of Kamula? We have a master of death with even greater necromancy! I, the warrior orc, am also here! Are you afraid of Kamula?”

“It’s not scary! It’s not scary! Camula is nothing!”

I looked with keen eyes at the arena that had turned into a gathering of a cult.

I found them quickly. I saw monsters covered in black robes.

Kamula’s subordinates who were responsible for reviving the corpses of the orcs killed by Wapha and Betdi.

The monsters, sensing the ominous atmosphere that had suddenly changed, were cautiously looking around and leaving through the entrance to the arena.

    “Jonathan, over there. Those guys.”

    “I get it.”

When I pointed out, Jonathan again commanded the orcs.

“We are no longer slaves to Kamula! We do not fear Kamula! Look, brothers! Those thugs are running away in fear of us!”

“Don’t let me run away! Don’t let me run away!”

    “Okay, let’s show our anger!”

The monsters were terrified. They tripped on the hems of their robes, slipped, fell, and tried to run away, but to no avail.

The angry orcs had already surrounded the monsters in several layers.

“Where are you running off to!”

    “Kill him! Kill him!”

No weapons were needed. The orcs, their knuckles bulging, approached the monsters.

The monsters were no longer visible, buried under the orcs, and only their excited shouts and the sounds of things breaking and exploding could be heard.
