Chapter 180: Choi Arin has a bad taste

    “Heehee.”

    Choi Arin giggled foolishly.

Then, she started to mimic what Hayoon had done on the first day of their trip.

“Hayoon, look at this. The breasts are so big.”

    “Unnie… grow up…”

    “Hehe…”

The problem was her overly excited state.

Hayoon had merely held the bra lightly to her face, but Choi Arin seemed to be burying her face in a commercially sold bra from the store, even sniffing it.

“Unnie, what if the number of people who hate Koreans in Japan increases because of you?”

    “I’m hungry.”

“Alright, let’s go eat dinner. We need to have sushi.”

“Sushi… I want… that. Flying fish roe sushi.”

“Okay, let’s have flying fish roe sushi too.”

Was it fortunate that the bra size was an E cup?

Since Hayoon could just wear it, she bought the bra Choi Arin had rubbed on her face and put it in a shopping bag.

She hadn’t bought new underwear much since her breasts had fully developed in Korea, but she hadn’t expected to buy two sets in Japan alone.

Hayoon grumbled as she linked arms with the constantly laughing Choi Arin and entered the sushi restaurant they had scouted earlier.

It was located inside the shopping center, so finding it wasn’t too difficult.

    “Come sit here, unnie.”

    “Nooo…”

Hayoon chose a corner seat, worried Choi Arin might cause a scene if she got drunk, but it seemed her drunken antics had already begun.

She kept clinging to Hayoon, making it difficult for Hayoon to manage her.

    “Ano (Excuse me)…”

    “Ah.”

Just then, a staff member approached, tilting their head and asking if they were ready to order.

Hayoon, flustered, managed to place their order in broken Japanese.

It was a good thing she had checked the popular menu items from the restaurant’s reviews before making a reservation.

Even with Choi Arin clinging to her, something came to mind, and when she said it, the staff member, perhaps recognizing them as tourists, responded cheerfully with a “Hai!” and went to inform the chef.

Now that the order was placed.

She was thinking of calmly sipping tea while waiting for the sushi when…

    “Koko (Here)!”

Choi Arin, who had been holding Hayoon’s arm and resting her head on her shoulder, shot her hand up like an excited elementary schooler whose turn it was to present.

    “Sake! Onegaishimasu! (Sake! Please!)”

    “Hai!”

    “Hey, you damn unnie…!”

    “Heeheehee.”

Hayoon immediately glared at Choi Arin with dagger eyes, but Choi Arin was unfazed.

    This woman simply loved alcohol.

Even though she couldn’t handle her liquor, a lightweight, she sure loved to drink.

Still, one bottle seemed like something she could manage as a cute mishap.

‘Yeah, well… one bottle, she can probably handle that. I even managed to support her to a motel when she chugged two bottles of soju.’

That was in Korea, and this was Japan.

It wasn’t just an unfamiliar path; it was a foreign country, which was worrisome…

‘I’ll just have one glass and make unnie drink the rest.’

Even in this situation, Hayoon calmly assessed the circumstances.

No matter how safe Japan was, comparable to Korea, it was still a foreign country.

It wasn’t like being at home. If two women got drunk and wandered around in a foreign country like this, they would be prime targets for trouble.

Hayoon decided the best course of action was to let her damn clinging unnie drink most of the alcohol and ensure she herself remained sober.

Hayoon was, no matter what anyone said, a typical proactive leader.

She was the type who needed to have a hand in everything to feel at ease, so she couldn’t just naturally get drunk like some people.

    “Arigato gozaimasu? (Thank you?)”

And so, while Hayoon was silently agonizing…

Choi Arin bowed her head and thanked the staff member who brought their sushi.

    Her accent itself screamed “drunk.”

The Japanese staff member, finding Choi Arin cute, smiled faintly, nodded, and returned to the counter.

Hayoon, with a blank expression, popped a piece of salmon sushi into her mouth.

    “It’s good, at least…”

The rice was savory, and the fish had that distinct, firm texture of sashimi, which she quite liked.

Honestly, she felt a bit mentally drained.

    “Kyaheung!”

Choi Arin poured the warm sake into a glass, scooped up only the flying fish roe from on top of the flying fish roe sushi with a spoon as a chaser, and downed the first glass in one go.

    This woman simply loved alcohol.

It was clear she loved alcohol.

    It was clear, but…

“Seriously, you damn unnie. Did you come on this trip just to drink?”

    “Mmmph… Want some, Hayoon?”

Seriously, even if you love alcohol, there’s a limit!

She had tempted her with just one can of beer, and now, after drinking that one can, what was she going to do if she got completely wasted?

Choi Arin refilled the glass she had been using with warm sake and offered it to Hayoon.

It felt like an invitation to forget about responsibility and just get drunk and have fun.

    “Eeeing.”

If Hayoon agreed to drink here, it would mean succumbing to temptation.

Then Choi Arin would get even more excited and pester her to drink more, and if that happened, there was no telling what variables might arise on an overseas trip with just two women.

She had to exercise restraint, and she intended to, but…

    ‘Just one glass? Just one?’

The steaming alcohol did look tempting.

    Cold sushi and steaming sake.

    The combination seemed perfect.

Just as she was wondering if she should have just one glass…

“If you don’t want it, then don’t!”

Choi Arin coyly nudged Hayoon’s shoulder, then chugged the warm alcohol in her glass and scooped up the flying fish roe.

Again, she expertly scooped up only the flying fish roe from on top of the sushi.

    This damn drunken unnie!

    “Eek…!”

Just when she was considering having a drink, being blindsided like this made Hayoon feel betrayed and a surge of annoyance welled up.

    “Hey.”

    “Why?”

“Seriously, Choi Arin, drink in moderation, okay? Why are you being like this, really?”

    “Heehee… I like Hayoon.”

So, when Hayoon tried to scold her, Choi Arin slyly approached and planted a kiss on Hayoon’s cheek.

    “Ah.”

This woman was now trying to use her body to get what she wanted.

No matter what you do, I’m going to drink, so you can just have a kiss. Was that what she was thinking?

Hayoon, looking like she was about to lose her mind, put a piece of tuna sushi in her mouth this time.

“Ah, no more flying fish roe…”

Choi Arin, after eating only the flying fish roe from the mere three pieces of flying fish roe sushi, and finding no more to eat, this time picked off only the egg from the tamago sushi and ate it.

    “I like egg… it’s sweet…”

    “I’m going crazy, seriously.”

At this rate, they hadn’t come to eat sushi, but to eat the toppings on the sushi…

    “I like alcohol too…”

And in the midst of it all, she always downed her alcohol in one shot.

“Yeah, more, let’s drink more, unnie. More, more.”

    “Uuuh… huhuhihi…”

It seemed better to just let her drink more and put her to sleep.

Hayoon, unable to bear it any longer, just kept refilling Choi Arin’s glass as soon as it was empty.

It seemed she just had to put her to sleep first.

    “Ha,
, ha… Why did I think just getting her drunk and putting her to sleep was a good idea?”

    Curses escaped Hayoon’s lips.

No, she had genuinely thought that getting her drunk and putting her to sleep would be better.

    Right?

Choi Arin already had a history of passing out drunk, and indeed, most people fall asleep easily when they drink enough to black out.

So, she had planned to put the constantly clinging, annoying, and teasing Choi Arin to sleep, have dinner alone, and then return to the hotel.

    However, that didn’t work.

“Hayoon, do you hate unnie? Don’t hate unnie… Unnie likes Hayoooon…”

    She wasn’t sleeping.

She had finished a whole bottle of sake and wasn’t sleeping.

Was it because she drank warm alcohol?

    She had no idea.

And, it wasn’t just that she wasn’t sleeping.

“Unnie likes being with Hayoon, why does Hayoon hate me… You can’t hate me…”

After drinking, she just had a complete mental breakdown.

She should have just let her eat her food quietly.

Hayoon had tried to get her drunk to put her to sleep, but it had backfired spectacularly.

She called a taxi and returned to the hotel room.

It was a shame she had only eaten half of the delicious sushi, but controlling Choi Arin was the top priority.

She had planned to quickly put her to bed, then go to a convenience store and get some Japanese instant food for herself, but…

    “Nghaa, just lie down already…!”

    “Noooo.”

    “Mommy!”

As she tried to throw Choi Arin onto the bed to make her lie down, Hayoon ended up being thrown down as well.

And so, she ended up lying on the same bed with Choi Arin.

Coincidentally, Choi Arin was on the bottom, and Hayoon was on top.

In that state, Choi Arin wrapped her legs around Hayoon’s body like a sloth, preventing her from going anywhere.

    “I like Hayoon… Hayoon…”

She just clung to her, repeating “I like Hayoon, I like Hayoon” like a parrot.

At this point, Hayoon was also furious.

It was definitely Hayoon’s fault for suggesting they drink, but what on earth had possessed Choi Arin to lose her mind to this extent?

She felt she needed to teach her a lesson.

    “Hey.”

    “Woong?”

    “Can you handle it?”

She grabbed Choi Arin’s chin and glared at her fiercely.

Her expression was so menacing it looked like she was about to smash their lips together.
