Chapter 7: I started living with four women
by Afuhfuihgs“I was your first kiss in this life, right…?”
Seung-ah’s bombshell was followed by silence.
Of course, Seung-ah and I weren’t dating. The kiss she was referring to had been… an accident.
The day Seung-ah returned after four years, I was the first person she saw.
I had been about to ask her where she had been, that everyone had been looking for her, when…
She pulled me close and kissed me deeply.
To me, with thousands of kisses under my belt, hers felt clumsy.
But that wasn’t the point. The point was that Seung-ah had kissed me.
There had been so much to say, but her sudden action wiped my mind blank.
To a teenage boy, a surprise kiss from a female classmate was a big deal.
Her reaction afterward was even more baffling.
She was the one who kissed me, yet she was the one who freaked out, yelping and running away.
She avoided me for a week.
I finally managed to meet her again after promising to listen to any explanation she had.
It was still a confusing memory.
The excuse she had meticulously prepared was that seeing me after four years, as the first familiar face, had overwhelmed her, leading to the impulsive kiss.
A kiss implied deeper feelings, but I didn’t press the issue.
She had just returned, and I didn’t want to add to her confusion.
Things were a bit awkward afterward, but we eventually returned to our old dynamic, never mentioning the incident, enjoying our time together with Shin-woo.
But today, Seung-ah brought up the very incident we had avoided.
And in front of all my ex-wives!
Everyone was waiting for my answer, their eyes fixed on me.
Prolonging the silence wouldn’t help, so I decided to just answer.
“Yeah… that was my first kiss in this life…”
My first kiss across all lives was significant, but my first kiss in this, my final life, held meaning for the women present.
I couldn’t imagine how my ex-wives would react to learning that my current life’s first kiss belonged not to one of them, but to my childhood friend.
Liera raised her hand again.
“Besides the kiss… you haven’t done anything else, right, honey?”
She asked, her eyes intense. I felt a shiver of apprehension but decided to answer.
“Yeah, nothing but the kiss.”
“Then… if we make it a reality now…”
With those chilling words, Liera enhanced her body with magic, accelerated with aura, and pounced on me.
She pushed me onto the floor, climbed on top of me, and started undressing.
“Stay still… I’ll make you feel good…♡”
I could have stopped her, but her current power was only at C-rank Hunter level. I hesitated, afraid of hurting her if I miscalculated my strength.
“Someone help…!”
I was about to lose my virginity to a forced encounter.
I desperately needed help.
“In Korea, if a man touches a woman…”
Shin-woo covered his face with his hands, peeking through his fingers. He was enjoying my predicament, adding fuel to the fire with his unhelpful commentary.
‘I didn’t expect anything from you anyway, you bastard…’
Suddenly, Ha-yeon appeared behind Liera, unleashed a burst of black energy, and struck her on the back of the neck, knocking her unconscious.
Even caught off guard, she had taken down an opponent of equal strength with a single blow.
The Heavenly Demon was still the Heavenly Demon.
“Phew… That was close.”
I didn’t intend to stay a virgin forever, but I wanted to at least make it to graduation.
While 16 was considered adulthood in the martial and fantasy worlds, it was 20 on Earth.
“Is that true…? That child stole your first kiss in this life?”
Ha-yeon pointed at Seung-ah, her gaze like that of a rival.
“Y…yeah?”
Under her intense stare, I couldn’t help but cower and stammer.
Her expression was a stark contrast to the loving gaze she had given me earlier.
“I knew women wouldn’t leave a man like Yu-won alone, but this is… excessive. Well, without your feelings, I suppose you wouldn’t have cared about fidelity.”
That was a misunderstanding.
I had rejected many confessions because of Ha-yeon, and my two other wives had essentially forced my hand into marriage.
‘Although, Ha-yeon also kind of forced our marriage…’
She had used her authority as Heavenly Demon to make her personal guard her husband.
While our marriages were somewhat accidental, in those memories, I had loved them deeply.
It was painful that none of those feelings remained.
But any explanation would just sound like excuses.
And this was my last life; I needed to find a partner. I couldn’t imagine living alone for over a century, and if I were to marry, I had considered Seung-ah.
But then, my three ex-wives arrived, tearing through dimensions and turning my life into chaos.
“Let’s put Liera in bed. When she wakes up, I’ll explain about this world. And I want to know how you all managed to cross dimensions.”
“Okay, oppa.”
Estelle, the only one who remained calm, responded.
Now that things had calmed down somewhat, I needed to send my friends home and have a serious talk with my ex-wives.
“Ah… the chicken’s cold.”
I laid Liera down and looked around, noticing the now-cold chicken.
Shin-woo and Seung-ah stood behind it.
“I’ll explain everything to you later. It’s best if you go home now.”
I would tell them about my reincarnations later.
For now, I needed to educate my ex-wives about the customs of this world.
“Alright. You can heat up the chicken and eat it with those ladies later. And film their reactions! ‘Reactions of otherworldly beauties trying K-chicken for the first time’ would get a million views on YouTube.”
Shin-woo was an internet streamer and YouTuber.
Did he have 200,000 subscribers? I wasn’t going to use my wives for views, so his suggestion was rejected.
“Like I’d do that.”
“Tsk…”
Shin-woo, clicking his tongue, headed for the door.
Seung-ah followed.
“If I leave, you’ll be alone with those women, won’t you?”
“Yeah.”
“That black-haired woman and the red-haired woman looked like they wanted to devour you. Are you sure you’ll be okay…?”
My chastity was indeed in danger. I had faced two close calls already.
“They were just overwhelmed. They’re probably calmer now…?”
Knowing their passionate nature, I couldn’t be certain.
“No way. I’m staying. I can’t leave you alone here. I’m worried.”
Having another woman around would be helpful.
She could teach them about women’s clothing, hygiene products, and other things I couldn’t.
“I appreciate it, but will your parents be okay with you sleeping over at a boy’s house?”
“It’s fine with you.”
She treated me like a human condom. She called her parents.
“Mom, can I sleep over at Yu-won’s for a few days?”
- Is Yu-won okay with it?
Her mother’s voice sounded remarkably calm for a parent whose high school daughter wanted to sleep over at a boy’s house.
“Yeah, of course I asked him first.”
While implying consent, I hadn’t actually agreed yet.
- Can I talk to Yu-won?
“Sure.”
Seung-ah handed me the phone.
“It’s been a while, Mrs. Yoo.”
-
Yu-won, how have you been?
“Good. Just preparing for the academy entrance exam with the others.”
She knew Shin-woo, Seung-ah, and I were studying for the exam.
-
Please take care of our Seung-ah. She might seem like a tomboy, but she’s a good girl at heart.
She sounded like she was talking to her son-in-law. Seung-ah raised her voice.
“Mom!”
-
Sigh… who does she get that loud voice from?
‘I think I know…’
Seung-ah was her mother’s spitting image. Then, her mother whispered, just loud enough for me to hear.
-
This is your chance… to seal the deal…
I hung up. She was just as bad as Shin-woo.
“What did Mom say?”
“Nothing important.”
Even if it was something, I had to make it nothing.
“What… so everyone’s sleeping over except me?”
Shin-woo sounded dejected.
“You want to stay too?”
I didn’t want to leave him out.
“No… I can’t sleep surrounded by them. And that look in Seung-ah’s eyes… oof…!”
Seung-ah punched him in the same spot I had.
Some things never changed.
“Stop talking nonsense and go home.”
“A woman willing to hit her friend for the man she loves… ugh…!”
He got punched again for running his mouth.
“Alright, I’m out. Enjoy your happy life…”
He walked away, shoulders slumped, either from the pain or envy.
But his words were inaccurate.
‘Would this be a happy life?’
Living with three ex-wives and a childhood friend.
I had no idea how this would play out.
My only wish was for things to stay… relatively calm.
I meant it.
