Chapter 29 : Slaughter(2)
by Afuhfuihgs-Waaaaaah!
Only four figures stood in the soccer stadium, originally meant for soccer matches.
The green grass, appearing as if after a fierce battle, had lost its sheen and was gouged in places.
Finding an undamaged section of the concrete ground surrounding the field was also difficult.
And the spectator seats, offering an easy view of their battle, were packed with users of various races.
Among them, perhaps because some were selling food and drinks, most users held beers and snacks in their hands.
And naturally, captured ordinary people were held at their waists.
The scene, with numerous users enjoying alcohol and companionship while watching the fight below, was reminiscent of the Colosseum in
mythology.
Yejin, one of the four figures capturing everyone’s attention, looked at the three users before her with余裕 (leisure/composure).
“You’re more capable than I thought.”
Since most of them were executives working in administration, she expected them to be utterly useless and quickly eliminated in user-versus-
user combat like this.
But their movements were surprisingly watchable.
Of course, it was only watchable, nothing more.
There wasn’t much fun in fighting them.
Just barely good enough toys to play with.
That was Yejin’s assessment of them.
“Normally, I might have considered just playing around with you moderately, but…”
She recalled Gyeoul, likely groaning under various suppression skills back in the room.
These weren’t simple binding or restriction spells, but advanced suppression magic meticulously layered by the guild’s renowned magic-user
players.
Even she, a Ranker, wouldn’t be able to break free easily.
‘Originally, I planned to slowly seduce him and make him fall for my charm…’
That irritating Succubus b*tch was the problem.
A wiretapping app she had installed was on Gyeoul’s phone.
Thanks to that, she could hear Hyewon’s captivating voice seducing Gyeoul in real-time.
She had let it slide because the succubus had a reasonably pretty face and a desirable body, but how dare she attempt such an ungrateful act
without recognizing the favor.
Drinking alcohol didn’t lessen the crime.
It was right to eliminate any potential danger near Gyeoul.
‘Once Oppa’s training is done, I’ll need to deal with that b*tch appropriately too.’
Still, as a fellow user, she didn’t plan on killing her.
She could just dump her in a remote region or forcibly deport her overseas.
She even planned to have a grand farewell f*ck, the standard rule for breakups.
‘Or should I just train Oppa and that b*tch side by side?’
She heard that Gyeoul’s older sister was also detained within the guild building.
Considering Gyeoul’s looks, which were always quite handsome, his sister was undoubtedly pretty as well.
If her looks weren’t up to par, she wouldn’t have been captured by other guild members in the first place.
In that case, enjoying both the sister and Gyeoul together seemed like it would provide immense pleasure derived from the sense of
depravity.
Satisfied just by the thought, Yejin inwardly licked her lips and looked at the three punks before her.
“I’m getting bored now. Someone’s waiting, so I need to end this…”
-[Who’s that person?]
-[The former Rank 3? Didn’t the new Guild Leader announce she was subdued?]
Before she could finish her sentence, murmurs arose from the audience seats.
Turning her gaze in the direction they were pointing, what entered Yejin’s eyes was…
“Hello, Yejin? I heard the story from my old friend.”
The Dragon, having thrown an Ogre – whose limbs were severed and even its single horn broken, rendering it completely rag-like – onto the
grass, seemed quite furious.
The Dragon’s distinct vertical pupils stared intently at Yejin.
She felt an inexplicable chill and reinforced her fighting aura.
“Getting bullied and scolded by Oppa is nice too… but watching a fight might also be fun?”
And watching the confrontation between the two, Yerim was casually munching popcorn in the spectator seats.
I covered my mouth to suppress the bursting laughter.
The sense of elation, strong enough to dizzy my head right now, made me feel like I could unleash a barrage of magic at any moment.
“Status Window.”

Taking deep breaths to maintain maximum composure, I opened the status window and checked the duration of the buffs I had cast on
myself.
Since my skill tree was primarily focused on offensive skills, my buff skills had low levels.
Their efficiency was also abysmal.
The proof was in the durations, which were already nearing their end despite the buffs being cast only moments ago.
If not for the mana rapidly regenerating due to the Dragon race’s inherent mana stat, I wouldn’t have even considered applying them.
The headache accompanying excessive magic calculations was something I had to endure.
The most crucial buff among those cast, and simultaneously the one ending first, was <Dragon Language Magic: Dragon Heart>.
As it was a buff that strained the body, its duration was extremely short, boasting a pitiful 10 minutes, typical of a premature ejaculation skill.
I looked at the text flickering intermittently at the very bottom of the status window, signifying ‘duration about to end’.
<Dragon Language Magic: Dragon Heart> -Race Restricted Skill- (00:09:48)
-The body and heart temporarily approach those of a dragon’s organs. Grants mana stats transcending human limits, and drastically
increases all types of casting speed. However, just as with all beings, not just dragons, if one covets power excessively, the resulting end shall
be fleeting.
Ten seconds after finishing all preparations.
In just 10 seconds, 1/60th of the most important buff skill’s duration had already passed.
I had no intention of overexerting myself after the buffs wore off, so it seemed I needed to hurry a little.
Since most buffs were merely skills, from my perspective overflowing with mana, reuse was possible after the three-hour cooldown passed,
but there was no need to drag things out like that.
Not only was I confident I could finish everything within the 10-minute duration of <Dragon Heart>, but I also didn’t want to experience the
headache of casting multiple buffs simultaneously again.
Using <Blink> to get outside the building, I immediately used <Flight> to halt my fall and soared upwards.
Flying high into the sky, I saw the owners of the presences I had sensed far below.
A huge soccer stadium, four people fighting in the middle for reasons unknown, and the users watching them and cheering.
Dropping a meteor there would be quite a spectacle, I thought, but recalling how much it costs to build a single soccer stadium, I canceled
that plan.
More importantly, it would be troublesome if my sister was inside.
I decided to refrain from using destructive magic for a bit.
Besides, there were countless other spells I could use instead.
“Alright, shall we begin?”
Setting the stadium as my destination, I increased the speed of the <Flight> magic.
While flying straight ahead, an iridescent reflection caught my eye.
An ogre smoking alone outside the soccer stadium.
Anyone could see it was my old friend, now a traitor.
Carefully creating a barrier of silence around him so he wouldn’t notice, I prepared an attack to subdue him instantly.
Suppressing the elation akin to a form of pleasure, I painstakingly maintained composure and prepared magic to block his escape routes first.
It was the same skill as the magic used at the hospital.
Instantly, a massive icicle the size of a human head formed in the air.
Up to this point, there was no significant difference from the standard <Ice Bolt> used at the hospital, but.
After finishing hundreds of repetitive chants in mere seconds, a spectacular scene unfolded as the surrounding sky filled entirely with icicles.
Once all casting was complete, I placed a hand on my chest to check my mana.
Thanks to the Dragon race’s unique mana and the effect of <Dragon Heart>, the depleted mana was already perfectly replenished.
I could chain even more spells, but it would be problematic if the other users inside the stadium noticed me…
For now, I decided to be satisfied with just ice-attribute magic, the quietest method available.
Soon enough, I’d be able to use all kinds of magic freely.
Imagining the sense of liberation I would feel shortly, I slowly chanted the advanced ice-attribute magic to subdue him.
“…Huh?”
He looked up at the sky only after noticing the strangeness upon seeing the icicles’ shadows.
The moment our eyes met, I broke into a wide grin.
His expression of despair, dropping the phone he held with his mouth agape, was quite amusing.
He seemed to be trying to figure out a way to escape, attempting to utilize [Stance] and various escape skills, but,
A rain of hundreds of ice arrows adorned the sky, restricting his movements.
A storm of freezing cold that froze everything swept the surroundings, binding his feet.
To him, whose entire lower body was instantly frozen, I said.
“Tell your Guild Leader to come out. I have something to say.”
-The time limit is one minute. If you fail, I’ll take your limbs one by one.
His face turned deathly pale at my proposal, and he frantically tapped his phone, crying out to summon his subordinates.
Unfortunately, the phone’s signal and his shouts for backup were all blocked by the veil of silence, unable to reach the outside.
My proposal was something he could never fulfill as long as <Silence> persisted.
To reiterate, this was merely letting off steam.

In a corner of Gyeoul’s status window, a message of unknown meaning briefly appeared and vanished.
