    Chapter 29: Summary (3)

“Boss, here is the requested material.”

A few days after the contract with Ajung was finalized, Yoon Taesoo walked into the study and handed me a neatly bound stack of documents.

It was a report on the results of the fabrication incident that had started a few days ago and continued until just yesterday, as well as the follow-up measures taken.

I didn’t bother taking the documents from him and simply waited for his explanation.

I had already grasped the details through Jungyeon.

“As you instructed, we have collected evidence related to the dissemination of false information and defamation from specific communities. However, due to the anonymous nature of these communities, it is challenging to identify the perpetrators, and proving infringement of a VTuber’s portrait rights is also difficult, so it remains uncertain whether this will lead to any real legal punishment.”

Yoon Taesoo’s voice was still dry and emotionless, but the content itself was as expected.

In the Korean internet environment, it was realistically quite cumbersome to track down every single malicious commenter hiding behind anonymity.

However, looking at it differently, it was just cumbersome, not impossible if one put their mind to it.

“But following your instructions, we are cooperating with the nation’s top cybercrime law firm to pursue all possible legal actions. We are simultaneously requesting the deletion of posts and attempting to trace IP addresses and identify major disseminators. Even if criminal punishment proves difficult, we plan to exert continuous pressure through civil lawsuits.”

His report was clear and without unnecessary details.

What I wanted was not just practical punishment but also a visible example.

It was essential to show what kind of price one would pay if they dared to mess with what belonged to me.

And Yoon Taesoo was acting in complete understanding of my intentions.

“Also, as you instructed, we are continuously giving gifticons to the administrators of that community.”

I had been consistently distributing support to my reliable colleagues from the ‘Ggizzik VTuber Gallery.’

“That’s good. Just keep me updated on the progress from time to time, and don’t worry about that issue anymore.”

    I waved my hand dismissively.

There was no need to waste energy dealing with trash.

    What mattered was Ajung’s condition.

“How is Ajung doing? According to Jungyeon, she still seems a bit anxious.”

“Yes, based on Jungyeon’s observations, she hasn’t fully recovered psychologically. However, rather than breaking down like before, she is focusing more on streaming as a way to move forward. Jungyeon is taking good care of her, and the company is also preparing to provide professional psychological counseling.”

    That was a relief.

I couldn’t allow my first collection to be ruined by external factors.

Whether it was psychological counseling or anything else, I had no intention of holding back support.

    “How is the building progressing?”

    I changed the subject.

There was no need to dwell on past issues anymore.

It was time to prepare for a new future.

Yoon Taesoo’s expression brightened just a bit.

He seemed to be more interested in building something new rather than dealing with legal disputes.

“The building you selected has officially been purchased as of today. The process moved faster than expected, thanks to quick decision-making backed by financial resources.”

He displayed the tablet, showing pictures of the building’s exterior, interior blueprints, and a construction progress plan.

“Currently, the demolition work inside is nearly complete, and from next week, we will begin the interior and studio setup. Our top priorities include the highest level of security systems, soundproofing, personal streaming spaces and living quarters for each artist, and the establishment of a state-of-the-art motion capture studio, which is rare to find domestically. The expected completion date is…”

Listening to his detailed explanation, I couldn’t help but smile with satisfaction.

Everything was progressing exactly as I wanted, or even better.

My own fortress, the perfect stage for my stars, was finally becoming a reality.

A month had passed without me even realizing it.

These days, Ajung found herself spending more time looking into the mirror.

Of course, it wasn’t a real mirror, but rather the screen displaying her new avatar.

Every time she looked, she couldn’t help but be impressed.

It wasn’t just pretty; it captured even the slightest emotional changes with such subtlety that it felt like it was truly part of her.

The days that once felt like nightmares now seemed much farther away.

Of course, occasionally when she looked at online communities, her heart would still sink, but she no longer felt like breaking down as she used to.

‘It’s okay. I’m not alone anymore.’

Jungyeon unni had always been a reliable support.

When things got tough, she would come up to listen, and sometimes offer sharp advice that helped clear her head.

She also believed that Zelnaga’s support from behind the scenes was protecting her.

News about the ongoing legal actions delivered through Yoon Taesoo and the almost completed new company building also helped ease her vague anxiety.

Above all, there were fans who continued to cheer her on.

Thanks to Zelnaga’s influence, fans gathered around the ‘Ggizzik VTuber Gallery’ not only defended her against malicious attacks but even rallied more passionately in support.

Sometimes their passionate expressions of affection felt a bit overwhelming, but their sincerity was always evident.

Today was the first time Ajung and Jungyeon were visiting the newly completed company building, the Zelnaga Entertainment headquarters.

The place that she had only heard about from Yoon Taesoo and Jungyeon unni. Their new home.

    “Wow…”

As they arrived at the building, Ajung couldn’t help but exclaim.

It wasn’t overwhelmingly large, but the building’s exterior, finished with glass and modern materials, gave it a distinct presence compared to the surrounding buildings.

It felt almost like a high-tech secret laboratory.

Jungyeon unni was also at a loss for words, letting out a series of amazed sounds beside her.

    “This is crazy… Seriously… Boss’s scale is something else…”

The security procedures were far stricter than expected.

They had to go through fingerprint recognition and iris scanning before they could enter the lobby.

The high-ceilinged lobby was decorated like a luxury hotel lounge, and one side of the wall bore the ‘Xelnaga Entertainment’ logo along with the group name ‘Starlight Project,’ softly illuminated.

    “This way, please.”

Yoon Taesoo himself came out to greet us and guided us inside.

Following his lead, we took the elevator and arrived at the personal space assigned to each artist.

As soon as the door opened, Ajung couldn’t close her mouth in amazement.

Inside the spacious room, top-tier broadcasting equipment was perfectly set up, and one side of the room featured a comfortable sofa and a small kitchenette.

Through the window, a panoramic view of the city spread out before them.

    “Is this really my room?”

“Yes, this is your dedicated space, Ajung. It’s soundproofed, and the internal temperature and humidity are maintained at optimal levels. You can also live here if you wish. Of course, a separate residential space has been prepared as well.”

Listening to Yoon Taesoo’s explanation, Ajung felt like she was dreaming.

The thought of being able to stream from a place like this every day was beyond her imagination.

“Amazing… Unni, this place is awesome!”

“Right? My room is just as incredible! Boss, I love you!”

Jungyeon couldn’t contain her excitement and was bouncing around, shouting her usual love declaration.

But the highlight was still to come.

Yoon Taesoo guided us to a massive space located in the building’s basement.

When the door opened, a vast studio filled with numerous cameras, sensors, and special lighting appeared before their eyes.

“This is our main motion capture studio. Not only is it the best in the country, but it’s also one of the few in the world equipped at this level. It supports full tracking as well as detailed facial expression capture. We plan to produce various types of content here moving forward.”

The motion capture studio they had only heard about in words was now in front of them.

Faced with its overwhelming size and cutting-edge equipment, both Ajung and Jungyeon were left speechless.

It felt like they could bring every imagination to life here.

Dance covers using 3D avatars, virtual concerts, and even VR collaborations with other members.

“All of this… is the stage for you, Ajung, Rinne, and future members of the Starlight Project.”

Yoon Taesoo’s low voice resonated through the studio.

In that moment, Ajung realized: this wasn’t just a company building.

It was the most perfect and secure fortress designed to let them freely pursue their dreams—a stage that shone brighter than any other.

A surge of excitement filled her chest, and anticipation for the future they would create in this place spread throughout her body.

I watched Ajung and Jungyeon through the glass wall as they looked around the studio.

The spark in their eyes, filled with excitement and wonder at the new environment, made me feel that all the money and time I had invested were completely worth it.

    ‘Finally, everything is ready.’

From acquiring the building to completing the interior construction, every step was meticulously carried out under Yoon Taesoo’s direction without a single error.

Now, both the legal and infrastructural issues were resolved.

All that remained was the best performers and the perfect stage to make them shine.

    “Boss, all preparations are complete.”

Yoon Taesoo approached me and reported quietly, a faint sense of satisfaction evident on his face, like a capable manager who had just accomplished a major project.

“Good work, Director Yoon. I’ll continue to count on you.”

I gave a brief response and turned my gaze back to the studio where the two were.

At some point, Ajung was curiously touching the motion capture equipment with Jungyeon enthusiastically explaining things to her.

I could almost hear their bright laughter from here.

‘It’s about time to move to the next stage.’

We had spent enough time solidifying our foundation.

The Starlight Project was already on a stable trajectory.

Now, it was time to add a new star to this perfect stage.

I returned to my study and reopened my secret list.

A list of potential VTubers, constantly updated with names of those with potential.

Among the many names, a few caught my eye.
