Chapter 198: Pre and Post-processing – Part 2 (2)

“Hero.”
“Yes?”
While Sion was hesitating whether to intervene or not, she was startled by Raizein’s words and answered reflexively.
A deep, dark anger could be felt in Raizein’s voice.
Raizein, her eyes shadowed darkly, spoke.
“I definitely volunteered to serve as a maid in order to atone for the sins that pureblood demons like myself have committed against humanity.
I also resolved to endure any humiliation that might come in the future. That resolve hasn’t changed even now. However…”
Grit.
Raizein ground her teeth once, then raised her head and glared at Dorothy with a murderous gaze.
A fierce light shot from her crimson eyes like a laser.
“But this lowly lizard bitch isn’t human, is she? She’s not someone I need to atone to, right?
If I remember correctly, during the Great Invasion, the dragons self-destructed through internal conflict, didn’t they? They weren’t directly harmed by us.
In that case, I have no reason to endure her provocations, do I?”
“Hah? What the hell are you babbling about, you conscienceless mosquito bitch?”
Dorothy, who was just as fiery, didn’t back down and met Raizein’s glare head-on.
“Not someone you need to atone to? Oh please, typical bat-brain behavior.
Have you already forgotten how you blindsided me while I was sleeping peacefully and tried to kill me, huh?”
“That’s because you were rude to me when we first met. Besides, didn’t you beat me to a pulp later on? I think that makes us even.”
“Even? Has this crazy bitch gone rabid from drinking too much blood? You cut off my servant’s arm without permission and call that even?”
“Cut off an arm? Who, when? I never did anything like that.”
“You fucking bitch, now you’re just playing dumb?! Then who the hell cut off Philia’s arm? A ghost did it? Huh?!”
“Uh, excuse me.”
From behind the raging Dorothy, Philia timidly raised her hand and interjected.
“I’m sorry, but I cut off my own arm. Lady Raizein wouldn’t know about it.”
“Huh??? What? You cut it off yourself? Why the hell would you do that?”
“Well, it was to treat my master, who was dying. Since it’s not something I can easily explain in a public setting, I’ll spare the details.”
Philia glanced nervously at Sion and then quietly stepped back.
Dorothy, caught off-guard by this unexpected revelation, was momentarily at a loss for words.
Meanwhile, Raizein smirked and mockingly raised her hand to her mouth as she laughed at Dorothy.
“Oh my, so you threw a tantrum without even bothering to understand the situation? Typical reptilian behavior.
Judging by the size of your brain, you might be better suited as a pet rather than a student.”
“Don’t you dare look down on me, you trashy bitch!”
Dorothy roared.
“Didn’t you hear? It was an unavoidable sacrifice made to save my life! In the end, you were still the primary cause of all this, so why the hell are you acting all high and mighty?!”
“That’s something I should apologize to your servant for, not you. As I said, you inflicted much greater harm on me later.
And since my initial attack was justified, there’s no reason I should feel indebted to you.”
“This fucking bitch…!!!”
Crack, crack.
Dorothy’s right arm grotesquely swelled.
From the delicate arm of a young girl, it transformed into a thick, scaly dragon’s limb.
The crowd, witnessing the horrifying transformation, simultaneously backed away and screamed.
But even faced with the threatening sight, Raizein remained completely unfazed.
“Are you suggesting we have a rematch right here? Fine by me. If you pick a fight, I’ll gladly accept.
Of course, since it’s nighttime and not daytime, the outcome will be no different from our first fight.”
“Don’t get cocky…
That time, I only got caught off-guard because I didn’t know you would keep coming back to life no matter how many times I killed you.
Now that I know, I have plenty of ways to deal with you. Besides, you’ve undergone an adjustment procedure that drastically weakened your physical abilities, right? And yet you really think you can beat me?”
“Yes, I think I can. Even now, far weaker than I was yesterday, someone like you is still no match for me.”
“Then try it, you fucking bitch!!!”
The two’s murderous auras violently clashed.
Sparks crackled and flew from the center.
Raizein cruelly smiled as she raised the darkness, while Dorothy, too furious to care about the location or anything else, was about to return to her true form.
It was a complete reenactment of their first battle.
Some of the more faint-hearted students had already long since fainted under the overwhelming pressure.
In the storm of raging energy, the only one standing calmly as usual was the Hero, Sion.
She scratched her cheek and spoke.
“I should stop them, right?”
-“Of course you should! Why are you asking something so obvious?”
“Haa, damn it… Honestly, you guys are like children who never grow up.”
With a heavy sigh, Sion stepped forward.
Then, driving Exia into the ground, she shouted loudly.
“Everyone, sto—”
“Stop! You two, both of you, stop right there! Miss Dorothy! Miss Raizein!”
At that moment, Sally’s voice cut through from behind, interrupting Sion.
Feeling awkward, Sion retrieved her sword and took a step back.
Sally, who had run up quickly, scolded them in a stern voice.
“You two! Do you even realize where you are right now?
This is a sacred place of learning, not a battlefield! If you’re going to fight, take it outside! Outside!”
“Ah, y-yes…! I’m sorry, I’m so sorry…”
Raizein, returning to her usual meek expression, quickly withdrew the darkness she had unleashed.
She bowed repeatedly in apology toward Sally.
The fierce murderous aura from earlier was nowhere to be seen—only pathetic servility remained.
Seeing Raizein like that, Dorothy lost her enthusiasm as well and clicked her tongue, canceling her transformation.
“Consider yourself lucky you’re still breathing. I was planning to finally put an end to your miserable life today.”
“Oh my, shouldn’t I be the one saying that? I was so looking forward to turning you into a beautiful mummy, but alas, not today.”
“This fucking bitch, seriously!!!”
Dorothy shouted furiously, completely ignoring the fact that she had been the one to provoke things in the first place—classic arrogant dragon behavior.
Sally shouted again, raising her voice even louder.
“Enough! Miss Dorothy, Miss Raizein, no more provoking each other!
Just separate now! Quickly, quickly!”
“Yees, understood.♬”
Raizein glanced at Dorothy with a sly smile, then hummed a cheerful tune as she melted into the darkness and disappeared.
Dorothy almost lost her temper again at that mocking smile, but managed to hold herself back.
Sally coughed a little, as if trying to change the mood, and spoke.
“Anyway, Miss Dorothy. Or should I say Lady Dorothea? Which would you prefer?”
“Call me whatever you want. I don’t really care what others call me.”
“Then I’ll stick with Miss Dorothy since that’s what I’m used to.
Anyway, I have something to discuss with you. Do you have a moment? It’s a fairly important matter.”
“Oh, what is it?”
Dorothy calmed her anger and looked at Sally with eyes full of eager anticipation.
What could she want to say?
A thank you for saving the school? Or perhaps some form of reward?
Nothing else made sense.
After all, if she hadn’t transformed in time and subdued Raizein, everyone at this school would have been massacred by her.
(Of course, she conveniently ignored the fact that Sion would have handled it without her.)
Surely they wouldn’t brush off such a huge favor with mere words.
There would definitely be a reward fit for such a great deed.
‘Hehe, I wonder what they’ll give me? Gold and jewels? Jewelry? Or maybe rare magical artifacts?
I mean, I already have a hoard full of rares, but hey, if they’re offering, I’ll take it. It’s the thought that counts, after all. Ufufufufu…!’
Dorothy, giggling inwardly, smiled smugly.
Greed is the nature of chromatic dragons.
Whether Red, Blue, or Green, there’s no dragon of color that doesn’t love treasure.
Dorothy was no different.
The thought of adding yet another precious item to her treasure hoard made her heart race with excitement.
Come on, bring it on!
I’m ready for it anytime…!
“…Umm, I’m truly sorry to have to say this…”
Sally avoided Dorothy’s gaze and lowered her head.
What’s this? Is she embarrassed?
She doesn’t need to be shy about it.
I already know what she’s going to say, so just be honest and say it—
“I’m sorry, but Miss Dorothy, you can no longer remain enrolled at Anatolia. Please accept our deepest apologies.”
“………….”
…………………
………….
…..Huh?
