Chapter 37: Innate Tyrant – 4 weeks ago
by AfuhfuihgsChapter 37: Innate Tyrant
“Toji”
“Papa”
“Alright, alright”
With a casual wave of her hand, the young boy wearing a hat and the beautiful woman called out to the man, who let out a small chuckle and followed them leisurely, hands tucked into his pockets.
It was a scene rarely seen on a weekday afternoon — so tranquil that it could easily be mistaken for an idle day, perhaps even a sign of unemployment.
However, anyone who laid eyes on the man would never dare voice such an assumption.
His body, tightly packed with muscular strength, a jagged scar running across his face, and a ferocious smile on his lips, resembled that of a yakuza.
Standing before him would make anyone feel like a mouse in front of a tiger.
He was the very embodiment of a natural-born tyrant.
This man, casually trailing behind his precious treasures, flinched as a voice echoed from behind, before breaking into a smile.
“…Looks like you’re doing well.”
“…Ah.”
Zenin Toji couldn’t help but smile at the voice that came from behind him.
After all, her voice was nothing short of a lifesaver to him — more so than even a benefactor.

“So, what’s the matter? Is there something you need me to do? Should I lend my strength?”
“No, nothing like that.”
Fushiguro Toji — a name well-known in the jujutsu world, infamous for the tragic story of his past, and a powerful figure who had once nearly killed Gojo Satoru.
His connection to her had come about through chance and inevitability.
As a reverse sorcerer, he had known her through the original story, and through their dealings, they had developed a bond.
For example, he’d often sent her out on errands, fetching things in his place while he remained trapped.
Over time, he had come across various cursed tools and items, and among them was a charm capable of holding reverse jujutsu techniques.
He gave it to her as a gift, hoping it would help her one day heal her loved ones.
As a result, Toji’s wife, Ayame Chie, who had once borne his child Megumi, survived, and although her lineage remained Zenin, which was a small issue, it wasn’t of much concern.
Through the use of the reverse jujutsu charm, Toji had managed to save her before she passed away.
Her body, naturally frail, was healed, and he now considered her a life-saving benefactor.
He would gladly offer his life for her, and though he couldn’t do so now because of Megumi, he was forever grateful.
Thus, Toji was more than willing to lend his aid, even if the request meant turning the entire jujutsu world against him.
“Is that so? Well then…”
“The matter is already settled. I just came to see Megumi and you for a moment. With these new eyes of mine.”
“…Those eyes…”
Toji’s expression shifted as he gazed into her eyes, which were now glowing a pale blue or fiery red. He immediately recognized them — those eyes had to be from the Gojo family.
How they had come to be hers was a mystery, but he knew it was something only she could have achieved.
Her techniques were nothing short of extraordinary, and Toji had firsthand experience of her incredible abilities.
Despite not being born with the Gojo family’s strength, she had relentlessly trained and refined her physical prowess to the point of rivaling even him.
It wasn’t too surprising that she had somehow gained those eyes — her power was well beyond ordinary.
He wondered what she had seen in him and Megumi, considering she had used those eyes to look at them.
“Just as I thought, it’s the Six Eyes… I had a hunch, but… what exactly did you see in me and Megumi?”
“What I saw were the latent techniques within your Six Eyes and Megumi’s potential.”
“Latent techniques within Megumi?”
“Yes, although he hasn’t awakened them yet, your son… he possesses extraordinary innate jujutsu talent.”
“Is that so??”
Toji couldn’t help but smile at her words.
Naming him Megumi seemed to have been the right choice after all.
He had suspected Megumi was born with great potential, having seen signs of it from an early age, but hearing confirmation filled him with pride.
His desire was for his son not to follow in his footsteps, and this confirmation made that wish all the more real.
I explained to him the technique Megumi was born with: Ten Types of Curse Manipulation.
“Ten Types of Curse Manipulation… Hah! I can already imagine the faces of those bastards when they find out! If they try to take Megumi, I’ll make sure they regret it, even if it means nearly killing them!”
“Do as you wish. In the end, we may need your help later. Just keep your temper in check.”
“Ah, anytime.”
After leaving Toji, I thought about the structure of the technique and the constraints of the Ten Thousand Confinement.
This new knowledge filled me with determination, and while I intended to give the technique to Geto, I had my own plans for the restraint.
The Ten Thousand Confinement was a unique condition where one would either lose all their cursed energy or lose the use of parts of their body.
Regardless, it was a natural state of restraint that allowed one to acquire a gift equivalent to that of the immense power it demanded.
Toji, for example, had lost all cursed energy in exchange for overwhelming physical prowess — his strength surpassed human limits.
I had now seen the exact structure of this restraint with my own eyes.
If I wished, I could even replicate this restraint.
Without hesitation, I had already begun to visualize the form of this restraint in the air, and I was ready to remove the price it demanded.
***
The Ten Thousand Confinement.
A price of either having zero cursed energy or losing control of one’s limbs, all in exchange for an extraordinary gift.
The most famous case being Toji — who, despite having no cursed energy, possessed an unparalleled physical body that defied the limits of human strength.
It was not an exaggeration to say that his physical prowess alone was monstrous.
I could see the structure of the restraint now, and if I desired, I could reproduce it.
With my newly gained vision, I could carve out only the cost portion, leaving the gift intact, using my techniques to do so.
Had I been unable to use the Six Eyes, the price would have likely been too steep, but now I had the means to remove the restraint while retaining the benefits.
With a calm breath, I pulled the restraint from the air, and without hesitation, applied it to myself.
A surge of physical power coursed through my body, exponentially boosting my strength.
It felt as though my body was now on par with Boa Hancock from the world of Oda.
With this, I could create meteor strikes with my fists, send cutting winds with my kicks, and even defy gravity.
I had transcended my previous limits.
“Not just an upgrade… It’s like a square!”
It seemed that the physical gift had been enhanced not merely by addition but by squaring the gains, thanks to my training. If I combined this with my increased cursed energy and regenerative techniques…
‘Now, no one can stop me.’
I felt confident now, certain that I could defeat any future threats — be it Ryomen Sukuna, Kenjaku, Mahito, or Maherra.
None of them would stand a chance against me.
With that thought in mind, I tightened my fist and adjusted to my newfound strength, preparing for the next step:
Strengthening Geto Suguru.
