Chapter 27: Jujutsu Kaisen

I checked the list of available amusement worlds I could choose from.

The worlds that were currently in progress were One Piece and Demon Slayer.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to continue with the Demon Slayer universe, but the problem was that the potential for power in that world was very limited.

To overcome the challenges in the One Piece universe, the strength from Demon Slayer would inevitably fall short.

So, I needed to choose another world…

Night Run had enormous potential, but it was so high that there was a very high chance I would just end up dying if I entered it, so I passed.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?  Had decent potential, but it seemed like it would take too long.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Prisma Illya seemed a bit out of my reach, so I passed on those as well.

Type Moon also had a different trajectory for acquiring powers, so I passed.

That left My Hero Academia, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and Jujutsu Kaisen.

The one that caught my attention was Jujutsu Kaisen.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn had lower potential compared to the other two, so that was out.

And between My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen, I preferred the latter.

Thus, I chose Jujutsu Kaisen.

─A former sorcerer who, along with Gojo Satoru, is considered one of the strongest.

[4. Ieiri Shoko]
─A reversal technique user who was a peer of Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru.
Trait: Reversal Technique, Random Inherited Technique.

[5. TS Itadori Yuji]
─The protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Trait: Vessel of Sukuna, Overwhelming Physical Strength.

After choosing Jujutsu Kaisen, the list of avatars appeared.

Out of the five options, four were TS (transgender) versions of characters, and only one was a female character from the original.

‘Hmm… The ones I’m most drawn to are the first to third options.’

Gojo Satoru, who is already considered the strongest in the original work, doesn’t need further explanation.

Fushiguro Toji, who was the only one to have killed Gojo at least once, also stood out.

Geto Suguru had an absurdly powerful inherited technique, making him quite attractive as well.

However, Geto Suguru would be my second choice.

First of all, aside from being the final boss, his cursed technique—Cursed Spirit Manipulation—would be difficult to apply in other universes.

When gaining powers in another world, they tend to be adaptable to the new world’s system, so his technique might transform similarly to how Devil Fruits work in One Piece.

Cursed Spirit Manipulation, however, wouldn’t work in the One Piece world, where there are no curses.

So what would I even control? Sea Kings? It might be useful in the ocean, but you can’t exactly bring them onto an island, so it lacks versatility.

So, I excluded Geto Suguru.

Fushiguro Toji wasn’t a bad choice either.

His physical enhancements were solid, but the problem was that Fushiguro Megumi was crucial to progressing the original story.

And thinking of a TS version of Fushiguro Toji… I would end up giving birth…

Pass.

So, Gojo Satoru was the most stable and powerful choice.

He had the Six Eyes, an insanely powerful ocular technique, and Limitless, an incredibly powerful cursed technique.

But…

“After all, it’s the gacha that really draws me in.”

What about the protagonist, Itadori Yuji? He’s the main character, but not really.

Choosing him would give me no real merit.

As for Ieiri Shoko, while she was a supporting character and didn’t really affect the plot, she had immense talent with the Reversal Technique.

Since her inherited technique wasn’t defined in the original, it was randomly assigned in this world, which was an interesting aspect.

If I could enter the world as Ieiri and defeat the strongest Gojo Satoru…
That could be pretty fun.

With that thought in mind, I decided to choose the fourth avatar.

As soon as I made that realization, they took me in and brought me to their world.

This was the situation I found myself in now.

Through the tinted windows of the car, I absentmindedly turned my head and saw, in front of what appeared to be this child’s home, a man in a black suit who looked like a jujutsu sorcerer.

He was exchanging an envelope of money with my parents.

I had been completely… sold.

‘Well, I don’t care.’

If this really was Ieiri Shoko, I would have been shocked and become disillusioned with the world.

But for me, those parents were just figures from my memory—fake parents who only existed in this game world.

It was more convenient to cut ties with them, and I was satisfied with that.

‘According to my memory, I’m 9 years old.’

I had awakened my cursed energy three days ago. I had also awakened my Reversal Technique three days ago.

Then my inherited technique is…

I closed my eyes and began to sense my inherited technique.

The inherited techniques given randomly were such that you could instinctively know what they were, even without using them.

Sever.

It was a technique that cut, severed, and sliced through things.

It seemed simple, but the catch was that “something” had to be cut.
