Chapter 23: Streamer…?

    Chapter 23: Streamer…?

    “Hm…”

It had been a while since I logged into a bank app in the real world, and it felt a little awkward.

My remaining balance was barely five million won. The room I was staying in was a one-room apartment with a monthly rent of fifty.

    As expected, I needed money.

“Maybe becoming a streamer really is the best choice…”

Mulling over the idea, I stepped into the bathroom and stared at my reflection in the mirror.

True to the usual TS clichés, an absurdly stunning beauty was staring back at me.

Then again, this face was a blend of Kocho Kanae and Boa Hancock’s looks.

One was a devastatingly beautiful woman standing at the pinnacle of her universe. The other was no less of a legendary beauty.

So it only made sense that the fusion of their features gave me an appearance so otherworldly, it would be considered downright broken in the real world.

How could human skin be this flawlessly pale and free of blemishes?

How could a body have such an absurdly tiny waist like an ant’s, with a chest and hips on the verge of bursting, and a face with perfect features?

Even my height looked to be around 173cm, with equally perfect proportions.

This was something only possible in a comic book.

Still, if a woman with such unreal looks and proportions appeared in real life?

    ‘…I’d go viral.’

    I was certain.

Just like in every TS story, I could easily rise to the top as a streamer.

Or I could become a celebrity. Or a model. I’d succeed either way.

But being a streamer really did seem best.

Putting aside all the clichés, it was objectively the most reasonable option.

Honestly, if I fully utilized the talent of this monstrous body, I could probably build a company and become wildly successful.

    Programming? Engineering? Chemistry? Science?

With my current self, I could conquer them all.

‘But if I go that route, I’d have to dedicate most of my time to the real world. I wouldn’t be able to focus on my entertainment life.’

That would defeat the whole purpose.

The power that made me this way stemmed from entertainment. I had to keep immersing myself in it to gain even more talent and strength.

There was no need to start a company and get all tangled up in reality.

It would be way better to make just enough money to live comfortably and focus all my time on my fantasy life without stress.

With that line of thought, streaming really did seem like the best choice.

First of all, it’s one of the easiest ways to make money with looks like mine.

Plus, it required less real-world involvement and offered flexible free time.

Becoming a celebrity would be too much, with all the schedules and obligations.

Streaming, on the other hand, would let me earn both fame and wealth while maintaining the freedom to enjoy my fantasy life.

It was the optimal career path, at least in my judgment.

Of course, there might be other good options too.

But on top of all that, streaming sounded genuinely fun.

Playing games, cooking, and streaming it all.

In the stories I’ve read or the streamers I’ve seen, it always looked entertaining.

And with that in mind, I immediately began shopping with the remaining five million won.

    A decent computer. A webcam. A microphone.

I made sure to order those three essentials first.

While waiting for them to arrive, I began practicing the content I’d be streaming—mainly singing—by studying YouTube videos and tutorials.

Even if I looked like this, I had the qualities of a Conqueror—my body held the talent of an unrivaled beauty.

    Singing?

A day would be more than enough to master it.

    …It wasn’t.

Even with my Conqueror’s potential, mastering something like singing in a single day was just too much.

If I somehow gained another extraordinary talent, maybe then it’d be possible.

But with just two people’s talents fused into this body, it wasn’t quite enough.

Neither of them were known for singing anyway.

Sure, my skills improved rapidly—good enough to stand somewhere between an amateur and a pro—but it still wasn’t the level I wanted.

So, I quickly returned to the world of One Piece.

    “I need… a Devil Fruit power!”

At this rate, if I kept practicing for a week, or maybe a month, I could probably reach the level of a top-tier singer.

That’s how much talent I already had.

But to go beyond—to reach the realm of the supernatural—I needed something more.

    Something truly special.

Like the Sing-Sing Fruit, for example…

‘Granted, in the original work, the Sing-Sing Fruit didn’t actually improve singing skills. It just granted effects based on singing…’

But I couldn’t forget—this world wasn’t the original One Piece universe.

It was a world shaped by my fantasy life. And in this world, reality could be bent slightly based on my perception.

The Copy-Copy Fruit had already been altered that way.

So if I really put my mind to it, I was sure I could change the Sing-Sing Fruit to make it enhance my singing abilities.

And if I also obtained the Sound-Sound Fruit, the Allure-Allure Fruit, or the Smooth-Smooth Fruit, I could amplify both my voice and appearance even further.

‘If I’m going to start streaming… might as well go all in.’

With that resolution, I set sail.

It was still 18 years before the original One Piece story began. Most Devil Fruits were either undiscovered or held by people not yet introduced.

    But it didn’t matter.

My current skills were more than enough to traverse the New World. And no matter how much time I spent here, nothing would change in the real world.

With that in mind, I resumed my voyage.

    ***

    “Kuhi-hi-hi-hiiit! Boa Hancoooock! Found youuuu!!!”

    A week later.

A self-proclaimed bounty hunter named Don Don Berry came after me.

I captured him and was utterly speechless when I saw the four Devil Fruits he had on his ship.

All the fruits I had been looking for were right there.

Apparently, he was working for the Celestial Dragons, collecting Devil Fruits to bring back to them.

He’d run into me by chance and, realizing I was someone the Celestial Dragons desired, decided to take me along.

“…So that’s where the Allure-Allure Fruit ended up, huh. Not sure how the Sound-Sound, Sing-Sing, and Smooth-Smooth Fruits came into play though…”

‘Maybe, like with Hancock, they were fed to slaves for fun and then discarded.’

With that convenient plot twist, I decided not to overthink it.

It was my fantasy life after all—some narrative conveniences were allowed.

I closed my eyes and focused on the fruits.

    ‘…Copy!’

    And just like that—copy.

I felt the four different abilities store themselves within me like data.

With that, I was fully prepared.

Time to return to reality… but before that—

“Hey, you said your name was Don Don Berry?”

    “Gaaaah… Please, spare me!!”

“More importantly, what’s this about a bounty on my head?”

“I-I’ll tell you!! One of the Celestial Dragons saw your photo and said they wanted to own you! They offered a 4 billion Berry bounty, so bounty hunters and pirates from all over are probably coming for you right now!!”

    “…Is that so?”

I couldn’t help but click my tongue.

    Four billion Berries?

That was no joke. Even Whitebeard, the legend himself, only had a bounty around five billion.

And yet here I was—a girl—with a four billion bounty?

It wouldn’t be strange if every lunatic in the world started coming for me.

‘…Maybe I should avoid the One Piece world for a while and gain power elsewhere.’

It was a good thing I learned this now.

Without hesitation, I swung my sword and decapitated him.

He didn’t seem like a good person anyway, and I had no reason to leave someone behind who could expose my information.

Maybe I’ll go with Demon Slayer next.

With that thought, I returned to reality.
