Lily’s Sinister Plan – 10

    Lily’s Sinister Plan – 10

Screams coming from inside the room. Determining there was nothing more to see, I kicked open the door. Seol-ah was struggling, tied to a chair, while Wilhelm was extending his hand toward her.

I ran toward Wilhelm without hesitation.

    -Bang!

Wilhelm’s body flew up from my full-force drop kick. He flew through the air, smashing what little furniture there was in the room.

“I said stop, you crazy pervert!”

After confirming that Wilhelm was disoriented among the broken chairs and tables, I immediately ran to Lily. She seemed still confused, not fully grasping the situation.

    “Are you okay?”

“Huh? Oh. Did you… come to save me?”

“I’m fine, but be careful with your speech, Hestia is outside.”

She was about to use informal speech with me, perhaps thinking I came alone, so I whispered to inform her of Hestia’s presence. Hestia had agreed to wait outside in case there was any danger inside. She’s probably worried about what’s happening in here right now.

I briefly surveyed the devastation in this narrow, dark room. Seol-ah whimpering, tied tightly to a chair, and Wilhelm groaning, buried among broken furniture after being hit by my hectopascal kick. The answer is clear, no matter how you look at it.

“Your Highness, I feared it might be true, but you’re truly amazing.”

This bastard really tried to kidnap, imprison, and do that to her. I looked at the still squirming Wilhelm with a contemptuous gaze. I looked at him with eyes as if staring at a disgusting insect.

    “I’ll untie you first.”

Judging from Seol-ah’s whimpering face, it was clear that her plan and the current situation were completely different. I spoke while untying the knots binding her hands and feet. Seol-ah, seemingly unaccustomed to her newly regained freedom, clenched and unclenched her hands. She had been tied up for quite a while, as she staggered instead of standing up right away.

I left Seol-ah for now and approached Wilhelm. He had now recovered enough from the pain to get up and glare at me.

    “Mikhaiiiil!!!”

“Why are you calling me, Your Highness Wilhelm?”

Does this bastard have no shame? Why is he getting angry at me as if he did something right?

“She is mine! If it weren’t for you!”

There was no trace of intelligence in his eyes. Is it okay for a protagonist to act like a third-rate villain like this?

“Your Highness, do you truly have no conscience?”

    “You bastard!”

“How could kidnapping and imprisonment not be enough? Were you going to commit such an obscene act as well?”

“It’s not an obscene act! It’s a brand to make her never forget me!”

I was dumbfounded seeing Wilhelm proudly declaring that he would give Seol-ah an unforgettable wound for life.

“Your Highness, are you truly insane? Do you know that what you’re trying to do is called rape in the world?”

    “Shut up, insolent one!”

He swung his fist at me. It had considerable strength and speed, but dodging his punch, who had already lost his reason, was as easy as eating cold rice.

“Even if you are the Crown Prince, kidnapping, imprisoning, and attempting to rape a fellow Academy student, especially a noble daughter… what else is there? Ah, visiting a brothel could also be picked on if someone wanted to. Do you think you can commit such crimes against an Academy student and get away with it?”

Logically speaking, it makes no sense. Even though he’s the Crown Prince, kidnapping, imprisonment, and attempted rape crossed the line too much. He might not actually go to prison, but it can’t be buried as if nothing happened.

“I am the Crown Prince of this Empire. I am not someone who can be intimidated by the likes of you!”

Wilhelm was almost throwing a tantrum. I thought he was the protagonist, but he’s no different from an extra who gets eliminated early on. Is this dialogue level for real?

I threw a punch at his jaw as he flailed around. Wilhelm, who had just regained consciousness, foamed at the mouth and collapsed again. I picked him up and sat him on a chair.

“Ms. Seol-ah, could you give me the rope… no, I’ll do it myself.”

I was about to ask her, but seeing her still trembling, I decided to do it myself. I tied Wilhelm tightly to the chair with the rope that had been binding Seol-ah. I made sure he couldn’t move at all.

After finishing the job, I patted Wilhelm’s cheek to wake him from his unconscious state.

“Your Highness? Your Highness! Wake up.”

    “Huk!”

Wilhelm woke up with a large intake of breath. He tried to get up but paused. Realizing what had happened to his body, he shouted.

    “What is this!”

“Please stay still for a moment.”

    “Untie me immediately!”

Wilhelm still hadn’t regained his senses and shouted with an overbearing attitude. Should I hit him again? I seriously considered it.

    “Untie me right now!”

    “Your Highness, please stop.”

Lily, who had apparently calmed down, approached me and Wilhelm, who were in a standoff.

    “Lily!”

His eyes filled with jubilation. Wilhelm seems to think that Seol-ah would naturally run to him and untie the knots binding him.

    “Mikhail! Are you okay?!”

However, she ran to me. Wilhelm’s expression became unbearably distorted.

    “Yes, I’m fine.”

I treated her with my usual attitude since there were watching eyes. Why is she acting like this when she saw with her own eyes that I ran in perfectly fine and kicked Wilhelm? She mouthed widely at an angle where Wilhelm couldn’t see.

    Play, along, with, me?

Has she thought of something again? I decided to go along with letting her lead the situation, as she suggested. I also nodded slightly, small enough that Wilhelm wouldn’t notice.

    “Mikhail, I was so scared…”

Seeing my signal, Seol-ah suddenly rushed into my arms and collapsed, crying. She really cried her heart out. Is this acting? Her tears didn’t look like those of someone who’s just acting and asking me to play along. I patted her shoulder.

Glancing at Wilhelm, his eyes looked like they might pop out. It was a precious moment where one could feel, “Wow, there can be such a miserable expression in the world.”

    “Hold me tight.”

    “No, that’s a bit…”

She whispered while in my arms. I refused. With Hestia waiting right outside, embracing her feels a bit inappropriate. Isn’t patting her shoulder enough? Displeased with my response, Seol-ah frowned and cried again.

“Li…ly! Why did you go to that bastard! The time we spent together, didn’t you say that at least that time was truly enjoyable!”

Wilhelm, who seemed to have recovered from the stun, shouted at the top of his lungs. Truly enjoyable? I looked at Seol-ah’s face. She frowned and shook her head vigorously.

“It seems she didn’t think so?”

At my words, Wilhelm trembled. His face turned red to the point of almost bursting. It’s a face red with anger, not shame.

“Lily! Say something, anything! The face you showed me just until now, was even that all acting?”

Wilhelm wailed. It was a desperate cry as if his heart was being torn apart.

    “Yes.”

    “Lily von Adamas!”

But Seol-ah was resolute. She wiped away the tears that were still flowing and sank Wilhelm with a single syllable.

“Shall I be honest with you? I disliked you from our first meeting. I find it repulsive how you pretend to be a good person outwardly but curse in front of me, and it feels like you’re not relying on me but just gossiping. I also dislike your hypocrisy, acting like you don’t care about status and telling others to be comfortable, but then stiffening your expression when people actually act comfortably. It’s hypocritical how you wash your hands until your fingerprints disappear after visiting orphanages or slums for relief activities. How did you even bring yourself to meet a baroness like me? Was I too dirty for you? I also didn’t like how you dragged me here and there without asking my opinion. I prefer meat over seafood, you know. Did you know that? And why do you hit and bite me while saying you like me? Are you a pervert? Shouldn’t you protect someone you like so they don’t get hurt? Whatever you were thinking when you did those things, I was in pain, distressed, and having a hard time. Honestly, it was the worst.”

Seol-ah poured out that long speech to Wilhelm without taking a breath. Then, with an extremely refreshed expression, she placed her hand on her chest and panted. Her chest moved up and down. In my opinion, that was 100% sincere. If those words were acting conceived on the spot, I would no longer be able to believe in the human species.

Wilhelm trembled, seemingly greatly shocked by her words. He had an expression of disbelief.

    “Mikhail!”

    “What?”

Seol-ah caught her breath and called my name loudly. She was still in my arms.

    “Thank you.”

    -smooch

Before warm lips touched mine, I hurriedly turned my face away, avoiding her lips. Her lips sliced through the air. She looked at me with dissatisfaction, her lips still pursed. My heart was pounding. It was honestly really dangerous. It was the most dangerous since I found out that she’s actually Han Seol-ah, not Lily von Adamas. I almost couldn’t avoid it. Rather, I didn’t want to avoid it.

    “Are you crazy?!”

“You’re avoiding this in this atmosphere? Isn’t that too much?”

I asked her, keeping my voice as low as possible. Wilhelm wouldn’t be able to hear. She placed her hands on her hips and questioned me, as if she couldn’t believe it.

“As I’ve said before, I have a fiancée. I don’t want to betray Hestia. I’m really sorry, but…”

“Fine. I’ve heard this before. But I’m not going to care anymore. Did I mention before? In the original ending of this novel, I change the law and marry you and that trash over there simultaneously. If I can change it to allow a man to have multiple wives, I can also change it to allow a woman to have multiple husbands, right?”

She and I still whispered at a volume inaudible to Wilhelm.

When a person receives too great a shock in a short moment, their brain short-circuits. This is that moment. What did this crazy woman just say? What? Multiple husbands? Wasn’t she from Earth?

“Let’s talk about this later. What’s important now is not your love life, but how to resolve this incident.”

“We’ll definitely talk about this later.”

I spat out the word “definitely” as if emphasizing it. It seems I need to have a long conversation with her.

“So, Your Highness, what do you plan to do now?”

Seol-ah asked leisurely, having completely regained her composure. Wilhelm was completely broken.

In the end, there was no contact between me and her, and we only made a promise to talk later, but from his position, I and Seol-ah would look like lovers exchanging sweet words after a kiss. Wouldn’t Wilhelm want to kill me for stealing Seol-ah’s lips—though only in his delusion—while he was tied to a chair, unable to move?

Moreover, Wilhelm was under the great misconception that he and Seol-ah were in a loving relationship. In other words, from his perspective, this is complete NTR! I’m not blonde, tanned, or a thug, and rather the Crown Prince is blonde and a thug, just not tanned, but anyway, in his eyes, am I not the perfect golden sun?

    “Untie me first, then talk.”

Wilhelm’s attitude was completely broken. He had lost his will. He was frustrated. Somehow, tears seemed visible on his face as he lowered his head.

“I’m asking what you plan to do now.”

    Seol-ah was merciless.

“I’ll… take a leave of absence.”

Wilhelm spat out as if he were vomiting blood.
