    Child!!

    Child!!

    Child!!

Seo-rin is the protagonist of this world.

Not just an ordinary protagonist, but a munchkin with overwhelming abilities.

As a result, the content of the novel focused more on continuous success rather than hardships and adversities.

But because the silly author raised some strange logic like ‘Then I should at least add some internal conflict’.

Seo-rin had the setting of being a strong but lonely character.

‘That’s why she often appeared sulking in the original work.’

For example, crawling under the desk and whining, buying lots of cute dolls, or deliberately playing five cute videos at once.

Due to the constant loneliness, Seo-rin tried to talk to people here and there or kept approaching those who could become friends to escape the loneliness.

But as some philosopher (or not) of this world said, admiration is the emotion furthest from understanding.

So while she might gain followers or colleagues, she never made friends.

Anyway, because I was worried about Seo-rin.

I tried to take her to Perseus’ lair so she wouldn’t get sad or upset.

    “Ha-eun!”

To the point where I wondered if what I had imagined earlier was correct.

The moment we entered the training ground, Seo-rin, who seemed cheerful and lively, ran towards me and started pinching my cheeks.

    ‘Oh.’

Had her personality changed in that short time?

Ha-eun wondered if she had misread the original novel.

While struggling with uncertainty, a sudden realization flashed through her mind.

‘Come to think of it, it seems like it’s been this way since we first met!’

As Ha-eun sat there, dazed, marveling at her stretching cheeks.

She blinked, thinking that the reason for Seo-rin’s change might have something to do with her.

‘Is it because I rushed to save Seo-rin at first?’

In the original story, even when Seo-rin pleaded for help, no one came to her aid.

As Ha-eun sat there in a daze, thinking that Seo-rin’s personality might have changed a bit because she helped her here.

Seo-rin hugged Ha-eun and Chae-a, grinning as she spoke.

“So why did you come here? Don’t tell me you came to see your sister?”

In response to that question, Ha-eun nodded and gave a more detailed reason.

“Yeah. And I wanted to go to the rare value.”

“Really? You came to see your sister… I’m so touched I might cry.”

As Ha-eun was flustered watching Seo-rin pretend to cry.

Seo-rin stopped her act, laughing playfully as she continued speaking.

“By the way, rare? Are you talking about the Perseus rare?”

When Ha-eun nodded, Seo-rin thought for a moment, quickly checked the time, and then continued.

“Hmm, then can we go in 10 minutes? I think I need to tidy up the training ground for a bit.”

At those words, Ha-eun’s eyes sparkled as she said to Seo-rin.

    “I want to help!”

Ha-eun remembered the promise of receiving pocket money for helping Seo-rin and said she wanted to help.

Seo-rin showed a slightly hesitant expression and said to me.

“It might be difficult, are you sure you’ll be okay?”

    “Yes! I’ve been training!”

Remembering how I diligently lifted and lowered the pillow at dawn, I confidently replied.

Seo-rin smiled slightly while looking at me and said, “Well, then I guess I’ll leave it to you?” as she let Chae-a and me down.

I decided to clean as hard as I could to satisfy Seo-rin and was running to pick up scattered plastic when.

    “Chae-a likes treasure hunting too!”

Suddenly, Chae-a followed behind me, giggling and smiling.

Then she crouched down, picked up a red ketchup packet, and said to me.

“Chae-a likes red things like this! It’s sparkly and pretty!”

It certainly sparkled as the light reflected off it.

I was giggling, thinking how cute Chae-a was for being so happy over a ketchup packet when.

Han A-rin, who was behind us, quietly approached and said to us.

“Don’t they clean the training ground these days? The little ones are cleaning up the trash on the ground.”

At those words, a man in a suit was startled and tried to approach us.

But Han A-rin, seemingly not wanting to be disturbed, waved her hand, gesturing him not to come.

Feeling a bit scared, I hugged my tail and looked around nervously.

Suddenly, Chae-a next to me made a very pouty face and said to Han A-rin.

    “This… is not trash!”

Chae-a getting angry like that is something I’ve never seen before.

While I was worrying about what to do as I watched Chae-a pouting with her lips pushed out,

Han A-rin smiled at Chae-a like that.

“Of course, what Chae-a picked up isn’t trash, but very pretty treasures. What I said was about something else.”

    “Really!?”

“Really. I don’t lie, you know.”

At those words, Chae-a stared at Han A-rin for a moment, then nodded with a bright smile.

    “Yeah! I like it!”

Thankfully, it seems her anger has subsided.

I was breathing a sigh of relief and biting my tongue, when Chae-a put a ketchup packet in my pocket and said,

    “This is for Ha-eun! It’s Chae-a’s treasure!”

    “Thank you.”

    “Yeah!”

Chae-a giggles, seemingly happy to have given me her precious treasure.

I smiled along with Chae-a, then shook my head and was about to finish cleaning, but.

“Ha-eun, big sister is all done preparing.”

Before I could properly clean, everything was already over.

I almost felt discouraged by such an anticlimactic result, but.

Seeing Chae-a diligently picking up something, I regained my determination and started picking up nearby trash, when.

    “Got Ha-eun!”

Seo-rin picked me up, preventing me from picking up all the trash.

I looked at Seo-rin in confusion.

Seo-rin took all the trash from my hands and continued speaking.

“Let’s wash our hands and leave right away!”

Although I was disappointed, I had no choice but to slump down.

Seo-rin smiled softly and poked my cheeks repeatedly.

I wasn’t sure what was so funny, but as Seo-rin seemed to be enjoying it, I thought that might be enough. Then Han A-rin looked at us and said.

    “I’ll take Chae-a.”

With those words, Han A-rin carefully picked up Chae-a, who was stuck to the floor, and went outside.

    *

… How should I describe this?

To put it simply, Perseus’s lair was a giant floating castle in the air.

Of course, this is a very condensed description. To be more specific, it was a Gothic-style castle larger than an apartment complex.

As I stared blankly at the lair, which was large enough to accommodate thousands of people without any problems.

Perseus looked at me and smiled softly.

“In my case, it naturally grew larger as I lived for a long time. Usually, they’re not this big.”

I nodded blankly at those words, and Perseus held me in his arms and slowly began to speak.

“Then let me guide you. First, we’ll start with the main building.”

By main building, does he mean the center of the castle?

Looking at the furniture that seemed excessively expensive, I thought about how difficult it would be to clean and how easily it might break as we headed towards the main building.

The first impression I had upon arriving at the main building was that ‘it looks like they brought an entire temple here.’

Ha-eun was momentarily captivated by the beautiful atmosphere created by carefully carved white marble pieces.

Suddenly, she was reminded of the first lair she built and felt incredibly embarrassed.

… Just throwing a blanket on a desk and calling it a day.

She remembered proudly showing off her lair to people, thinking she had done a good job.

If she had been lying in bed, she would have been kicking her legs wildly and hitting the blanket.

But since Perseus was holding her, she tried to suppress her embarrassment internally.

Unable to bear it any longer, she curled up into a ball and covered her face.

    “… What’s wrong?”

Perseus’s confused voice could be heard, but.

Ha-eun was too psychologically overwhelmed to answer and just trembled.

Seo-rin, who was nearby, picked her up instead and explained.

“Ha-eun gets easily embarrassed, so she must be feeling shy.”

    “I see.”

Though that wasn’t the real reason.

Whatever it was, Ha-eun thought it didn’t matter where she hid as long as she could conceal her burning face, so she curled up as tightly as possible.

Han A-rin, who was standing nearby, chuckled and said to Perseus.

“It’s nothing special no matter when I see it. Why don’t you try making something small and cozy like Ha-eun’s instead of unnecessarily large?”

The moment her lair was mentioned, Ha-eun’s embarrassment intensified.

Thinking she might die from shame if this continued, she shook her head to signal them to stop, but.

“Oh, right, you probably haven’t seen it? What should we do? It’s such a shame you haven’t seen the lair Ha-eun made.”

Han A-rin shows no sign of stopping as she continues to tease Perseus.

In response to her words, Perseus chuckles again and replies to Han A-rin.

“Sorry, but I’ve already seen it. I was the one who recommended creating Rare in the first place.”

    “What?”

“You don’t need to know the details.”

“Have you read something like ‘Daddy-Long-Legs’? What you’re doing is so childish mmph…”

Suddenly, Han A-rin’s words become inaudible.

Wondering what happened, I glance up to see Han A-rin with her mouth covered by a handkerchief.

Feeling a bit flustered by this sight, I fidget nervously, and Perseus drops the handkerchief and continues speaking.

“It seems the cleaning magic has been activated.”

“… Is that so? It looks like there might be an error. Can I try to fix it?”

    “……”

In the original work, Han A-rin was described as someone who had no interest in anyone.

I thought she had no relationships with anyone, but unexpectedly, it seems she has a connection with Perseus.

Finding this interesting, I watch them, and Perseus approaches me and speaks.

“Then feel free to look around. No, if you want, you can come and look anytime. That seems to be the right way to say it.”

Grateful for his words, I bow deeply.

Perseus watches me do this, his lips twitching slightly, and then speaks to me in a calm voice.

“If there’s anything you like, feel free to take it. These things are meaningless to me anyway.”

Upon hearing this, Chae-a, who had come down, scurries over and tugs on Perseus’s clothes, saying.

    “Chae-a too…”

“Of course, Chae-a, if there’s anything you want to take, you can take it too.”

    “Thank you…!”

At those words, Chae-a prostrated herself on the floor, imitating my bowing posture.

Then, giggling, she got up and started running off somewhere.

Wondering where she was running off to, I stared blankly, when suddenly Chae-a caught a ladybug that had been hiding in an expensive flowerpot and said,

    “Ant friend…! Like ladybug!”

    “Ladybug, ladybug!”

    As that cry was heard.

An ant that had been hiding on Chae-a’s shoulder jumped out and started dancing, wildly shaking its antennae.

Seeing this scene, I felt a little happy that Chae-a seemed to have made a new friend.
