As I followed Ririndel for a while, I felt gazes on me.

Passersby glanced at Ririndel and me as if we were something extraordinary.

Curious, I asked, “Ririndel, why are people staring at me like this?”

The elf who introduced herself as Sonia ignored my request and began introducing herself.

Peeking through the hole in the door, I saw Sonia staring at my room for a while before leaving.

I’ll have to avoid her at all costs.

I decided that from now on, whenever I’m in the dormitory, I would always check if Sonia is around and act accordingly.

The dorm room was much nicer than I had anticipated.

I covered my ears and face with the blanket, but the student ID alarm grew louder.

Finally giving in, I touched the student ID, and the alarm stopped.

Looking around, it just seemed like an ordinary card. Is this magic?

With a sense of wonder, I put on my uniform and left the room.

Checking the dorm office sneakily at the entrance and seeing no one, I dashed outside.

While checking the office, I accidentally collided with someone.

“Oh! Sorry, I was looking elsewhere.”

“!!!”

As soon as I heard the voice, I felt a threat to my existence and hurriedly ran away.

Glancing back, I saw Sonia staring blankly at me.

“Unpleasant woman!”

After searching around the massive building, I found my class.

As I sat in seat 74, a red-haired elf girl next to me was smiling brightly and looking at me.

The elf girl seemed to be about the same height as me.

I immediately greeted her with a smile, sensing a friendly vibe from this elf girl.

“Hello! Nice to meet you. I’m Aiden Peronis.”

“Yeah! I’m Lena Braceheart!”

The girl who introduced herself as Lena was very cheerful and beautiful.

She looked like an elf sculpted out of strawberries.

Wow… Could a happy academy life be possible here?

I wanted to keep talking to Lena, but then the teacher entered the room.

“Alright, everyone, take your seats.”

“Yes, sir.”

“I know you all understand, but we have a special hero joining our Class 69 today. Please welcome him kindly. Hero, could you introduce yourself?”

Suddenly asked to introduce myself, I felt embarrassed.

“My name is Aiden Peronis. Nice to meet you all!”

“Yes, Aiden. We look forward to working with you. Now, let’s begin the class.”

And so the teacher started the lesson.

They talked about magic and all, but I couldn’t understand a word they were saying.

I didn’t even have a book, so I asked Lena next to me to show me hers.

“Huh? You don’t need a book! Humans can’t use magic because they lack mana, you know?”

“Wait, then why am I here?”

“Well~ To get to know elves better, of course. I’ll introduce you to my friends later.”
