So, we decided to adopt a linear development from the beginning to the end, and once we established the story line, the episode that would give the first shock was selected.

I decided to start the cartoon there.

Also, the transformation of ‘Autogear’, which would play an important role throughout the cartoon, was also important. Unlike modern people who can accept the world view in comics.

Since this work was set on the continent of Sylvania, it would have been difficult if the setting was unacceptable.

So, we chose to replace modern objects such as guns with magic as much as possible, but it was a waste to give up Autogear.

Because it could be said to be a key element in the story.

‘Originally, the heroine appeared in the role of creating Auto Gear, right?’

In this world, were there prosthetic arms like ‘Autogear’ from the original cartoon?

Now that I think about it, when I went to the Magic Tower, I remember seeing supplies for people who lost limbs on the battlefield.

‘Golem’s Number’

It was an item made for soldiers who lost limbs on the battlefield, and because it contained magical technology, its performance was excellent.

However, it was disappointing that the design was too clunky.

The design of the golem’s arm has been changed to be more futuristic and sophisticated.

Just adding a little metal smell makes it look much sleeker.

This part is said to be a state-of-the-art golem weapon created by the dwarves using their clan’s technology, and it was only appropriate given that it had already become popular in the world of comic books.

The storyboard for volume 1 is already being completed.

Of course, it will be necessary to make it a complete version again, but the framework has already been established.

For this work, I plan to draw everything in black and white except for the cover.

In the first place, black and white comics are not simply used to reduce costs or due to limitations in technology.

People use their imagination and focus more when they read black and white comics than when they read full color comics.

The reason is that black and white comics do not end in the writer’s hand, but leave room for imagination in the reader’s mind.

It’s not for nothing that popular comics are still serialized in black and white.

“If I had an assistant, the work would speed up significantly.”

There were countless ideas and works that came to mind, but it was disappointing that I only had one body.

If I could use the art of alter ego, I would be able to work on multiple works at the same time, or divide the work into one person for the storyboard, one character, and one person for the background.

Originally, the person who would take on such a role was an assistant, an essential tool for cartoonists, but I have not yet been able to find someone who could assist me with my work.

In a world where painting was not developed to begin with, it was difficult to find competent people, and even more difficult to find trustworthy people.
